"What! No! Do you have anymore pokemon left?" the woman asked her grunt friend.

"No, Braviary took them all out earlier!" he huffed in anger.

"We'll get you next time" They threatened, leaving the area.

The Braviary let out a painful groan. Oh no!

He looks hurt! Will you help him?

"Oh, wow! You're a shiny cyndaquil!" Star crouches down to the pokemon's height, smiling brightly. What a cute little guy! And he took a liking to her so quickly. He's going to be a great partner! "So cute! I think I'll call you... Torch." With that, Star gets back to her feet and turns to her professor. She gives them a cheery wave, now starting to walk out of the lab. "G'bye, Professor! Thank you for the cyndaquil!" Now outside, Star taps her fingers against the strap of her shoulder bag in an anxious sort of anticipation as she keeps walking. It was time for her to start a new—and slightly daunting—adventure!

As you walk, Cyndaquil runs up ahead the path.

It looks like he's already found a friend!

As you near you notice the pokemon is an Emolga!



However something seems off.. Emolga is holding a great ball
and seems to be very upset and sad.

Your Cyndaquil is comforting it.

Maybe it lost its trainer? Or
even worse;

it's been abandoned.

"Welcome to the team, you two." Stumpy continued onward, her pokemon in stride. She enjoyed the peaceful silence of the forest, along with the occasional friendly pokemon.

( Just as a side note that the Minun was shiny, not the Plusle! ^^ )

and odd you go again. Still very oddly quiet.

How interesting, a Sandshrew rolled into your path! It seems... dizzy. Understandable, rolling around does make you dizzy!

Sandshrew blinked a few times the nods at you, jumping up and down. It sits down, looking at you curiously.

"Hey look! An eevee." She reached into the container and grabbed a berry, handing it over to the eevee Mysia would make a good first impression. She had a pokeball in her other hand, just hoping catching this eevee would work

“Eevee?” the eevee says, confused. It gently paws the berry away from your hand and grabs it in its mouth, before running backwards a bit, looking at you as it eats the berry. “Vee!” It says, running back to you and your Pokémon, blinking as it looked up at you and the pokéball in your hand. It became slightly afraid of the pokéball as it didn’t know what you’d do with it, and backs up slightly.

"Hey! Torch, wait!" Star jogs down the path, trying to catch up with her cyndaquil. She sees the emolga up the path, initially assuming he'd just found a new friend. The great ball in the pokemon's grip suggested they weren't wild, though. And the poor pokemon looked so sad... had they lost their trainer? Torch was chattering what Star assumed to be words of comfort, even offering the emolga a comforting pat on the shoulder.

Situations were buzzing around in Star's mind. The best case scenario was that Emolga's trainer had somehow lost them. And the worst case? They'd abandoned Emolga. But what kind of trainer would leave such a sweet-looking pokemon? "What's wrong?" Star asks softly, crouching down to speak to the emolga. She looks at the great ball they're holding, eyebrows furrowing in concern. "Have you lost your trainer?"
