Kai ventured into a small valley hoping to find someone, anyone. "Hello? Is there anybody here? Hel-" Kai ran strait into a strong looking Golden. "S-sorry!!" Kai cowered and showed a submissive position. "Hello, who are you?" Trevor asked, trying to refrain from losing his temper. 'Clearly this dog didn't want doesn't want a fight.' Trevor thought. "Oh! I'm Kai! Who are you?" Standing up to face the Golden. "I am Trevor, Alpha of the Pack Where the Red Fern Grows." 'Oh! An Alpha!!' "I'd love to join your pack! I mean- if I can??" Trevor was shocked at the outburst but became content and said Kai could stay. Kai wanted to be a Irontooth and Trevor thought that would be best. Trevor led his new packmate back to camp.

Later-on Trevor decided to take Kai with him on his hunt, just to... see how well he did. "Kai! I would love to see what you can do on a hunt, would you join me?" "Of course Alpha!!" Kai was overjoyed and bounded out of camp as quick as a bunny. "Hey! Wait!!" Trevor had to teach this kid some manners. He acts like a tenderpaw! When Trevor caught up to Kai, Trevor said "Wow, your excited! But..." 'Uh-oh... did I do something wrong?' "Kai? I'd prefer if you called me Trevor." "Oh! yes Alph- I mean, Trevor!" "Thank you."

Lily woke up, absolutely exhausted still. What had happened? She looked down, and saw four beautiful bundles of joy. Glancing upwards, she also spotted Amour, as well as Boom, who had the brightest smile ever. "Four healthy pups. Three female, one male." Amour announced softly, titling his head to where the pups squirmed. "Names?" Amour asked. Lily thought for a hard moment, looking at her small pups. "This one will be Beetle, that one will be Valentine, that one shall be Pepper and..." Lily couldn't think of a good enough name for the last puppy. It had beautiful black curly fur, almost like Boom's. "How about Lune?" Boom suggested, smiling at the unnamed pup. "Lune," Lily echoed. "All right. Lune it is."

Boom had left Lily to go tell Bullet about the new pups. "Bullet!" Boom called, bounding up to Bullet. "Yes? Were the pups born?" Bullet asked. Boom nodded. "Four pups. Beetle, Valentine, Pepper and Lune." "Ah. Can I see them?" Bullet asked. Before Boom could reply, from the corner of his eye he spotted Gabriel and Michelle, coming back from the shadowy forest. "Gabriel! Michelle! Lily gave birth to four stunning pups!" Boom shouted, so excited that he almost fell over. "Come on, I'll show you them!"

After he saw the new four pups, he decided to send Ricochet and Boom on hunting patrol, and Gabriel took Michelle for another training session. He decided that it's about time to ask his ancestors for a whole new dog. "Ancestors. My deeply respected ancestors. I kindly ask you, with your strong power, to send me an Ironteeth," he paused for a moment and bowed to seemingly nothing. "Thank you."

Aspen watched Essex as he applied cobwebs to Diego's wounds. The doberman watched Aspen with an interested gaze. The pale brown she-dog huffed when she noticed Diego watching her as well, turning on her paws and stomping out of the shaman's den to find Victoria.

"What's got your tail twisted?" Victoria asked, looking up from the squirrel she was eating. Aspen flopped down next to the black poodle, letting out an exasperated sigh.

"That Diego gets under my fur." Aspen grumbled, her tail thumping repeatedly against the ground. "I have no idea why, we haven't even spoken a word with each other." Victoria smirked at the mutt, a knowing look on her face. "Don't look at my like that, you prissy purebred." Aspen barked affectionately. Victoria snapped her teeth at the younger she-dog before licking her cheek.

The rottweiler and golden retriever mix poked his head out of his den, an annoyed look on his face. "What?!"

"Chelsea is starting to have her pups!" Florence's voice called against. Essex growled quietly, exiting his den all the way and hurrying across the clearing to the nursery. Chelsea looked up, her flank rising and falling quickly as she panted. Florence was crouched next to the she-dog, while her pups were nowhere to be seen in the den. The pup-mother had probably shooed her pups away when Chelsea first started labor.

Weather Report: The morning and evening air is starting to become cooler. Prey is starting to dwindle as they begin hibernating. Predators have become more common and two-legs have come to hunt the boar, watch out for traps!

OOC:I have been working on some special stuff I have in store for you all, or I am trying to anyways. I finally have these replies done, though I have been working on them since last night because I wanted to try and do nice replies this time.

Charlie led the way towards the border at a brisk pace, she didn't want the same incident that happened with the badgers and knew this was much different. As they drew near the border it was clear that they have moved closer to the territory and marked over their borders. A deceleration of war! Charlie let out a low growl, the other's with her kept their guard up as they fanned out to search.

Boss heard a growl and smirked, it looks like these pups want to take up their challenge! "Look alive fellas we have ourselves a rodeo to attend. I want their territory, I am sure they have a camp full of freshly killed prey just for us." he barked in an evil tone. "Wait for my signal, I want to let them spread further away from each other and we can take them one by one." he commanded. The two dogs he was with nodded and spread out themselves but stopped when they saw a smallish black and white dog come their way. Bandit got closer to the ambush spot as the scent grew stronger hear, he was just about to bark for the others before he found himself under attack by a trio of vicious rogues.

Bandit knew he was out numbered and knew there wasn't much he could do but he would not let these dogs get close to camp, not while his pups were there. The husky bit into the closest dog's ear and tore at it, though not for long as a large mouth went around his front leg and even he heard the bone crunching in the jaws. Bandit let out a loud yelp before landing another bite at the same dog, happy to see that they decided this was not worth it as the others came to Bandit's aide.

Stone and Wallen threw themselves at the other dog, they found him easy to conquer and to be honest found themselves a little disappointed they didn't get to show off more moves they have been working on. Once they were sure the two dogs were far away and still running they went to help Bandit up but saw that Charlie was still in the middle of battling Boss, the leader. "Cowards!" The large grey dog howled before he snapped at the beta female. Missing as she easily dodged him, he was not as fast though as she whipped around and grabbed his scruff.

The move sent the large dog to the ground and that was when Charlie pinned him "If you move an inch without my say so, I will kill you." she snarled menacingly. Stone and Wallen even found that cold and pinned their ears back and looked away as they continued to help their injured comrade.

Boss complied, his eyes narrowed though when Charlie let him up. The beta didn't let her eyes off the male though and just barked the command "Wallen you help Bandit, Stone I want you to flank this dog. We are taking him to camp, Kodiak can decide what to do with him." It was a clear order and no one wanted to argue with the adrenaline filled beta.

Kodiak, Thunder and Korra catch two small birds and found a mouse on the way back to camp.
Charlie, Stone, Bandit and Wallen fight the rouges and win, though with promises to be back.
Bandit has a broken leg! Two rush and poppy seeds along with 3 moons rest.
Charlie took Boss as a prisoner, he is/was the leader of the rogues.

The long grasses were beginning to brown in the fall weather but they were still long enough to conceal the male. Dimitri watched intently as his mentor disappeared into the grass and was gone in a heart beat. Only to show up on the Tenderpaw's other side without a sound.

"Wow! That was so fast Kota! Okay I think I got it this time." The young dog barked before taking off into the grasses yet again. It was clear to Kota that they would be at this for a couple days but he knew his Tenderpaw would grasp the speed skill. It was important for him to learn after all.

Your dogs catch two large birds while hunting.
On the way back to camp though Kota was the only dog to smell the faint scent of humans.
Dimitri learns the speed skill.

"Hush!" Blue whispered to the group of dogs behind him. Pie shot him an annoyed glance and moved in front of the pitbull. It was a sign of disrespect and Blue would have put him in his place if it weren't for the humans that were near by. The beta ignored it for now as he turned his attention back to the humans, watching what they were doing way out here.

"Those are traps, I lost a close friend to one of those." Freya yipped quietly as she observed behind the beta.

"We can all see that, Freya." Pie muttered with annoyance, why did his mother even send him on this patrol? It was obvious she didn't favor him as much as he had thought.

"We need to report this to Raleigh, she will want to know so she can avoid this area." Blue instructed before slowly padding away with careful steps.

Blue, Pie, Jack, Freya and Bramble watch as the humans place traps and conceal them with fallen leaves.
Badger learns how to dig.
Raleigh's hunt goes badly as she is distracted by her thoughts of worry.

The young dog bounced around the lake, scared of falling in. They were happy to see another dog, it was even better when their ancestors had lead them here. "Oi! They said I was to come see you? Said you would show me how to become stronger so I can protect those I love. Well, I am here! Let's begin!" The youngster commanded happily before bouncing off. They were full of energy alright and Belle found herself wondering if her own pups would be like that some day. She was not looking forward to that, she admitted to herself mentally before padding after the youngster.

Trevor and Kai had spent the whole morning hunting and they only caught two voles. Trevor let out a quiet sigh, he was slightly disappointed but deep down he knew it was a good start to the fresh kill pile. Kai however was happy as can be as he carried the two rodents back to camp, a skip in his step and Trevor swore he could see a permanent smile on the brute's face. Just the there was a shift in the wind and Trevor could smell another dog, they were close. "You head back to camp, I am going to go check something out."

"Okay Alpha!" Kai barked happily, even though it caused the voles to plop to the ground and get covered in dirt. "Oops!" He chuckled before picking them back up and heading back to camp.

Trevor watched him go and when he was sure that the young dog was out of earshot he barked the command "Come out now, if I have to go in there, it won't be so great for you."

Trevor and Kai catch two voles.

The rottweiler tilted its head as they saw another rottweiler almost bow. The pup that followed them looked around them and pretty much shouted "Why is he doing that? Isn't that silly?" they chuckled.

"Hush. That is rude and you should not judge dogs like that." The scolded before they looked back up to see the alpha was already in front of them, almost commanding respect.

"Some body is in trouble..." The pup teased in a sing song voice.

The Ironteeth growled but that caused Bullet to speak up "You have two seconds to tell me who you are and what you are doing." he commanded harshly. The pup quieted then and hid behind their sibling, afraid.

"You see what you did, it is so hard for me to break this scardey-cat habit." The new dog muttered as the scowled at the alpha "And if it isn't obvious, I am the dog your ancestors have sent...well our ancestors I guess."

Ricochet and Boom catch a rabbit.
Michelle learns the endurance skill.

Rocky circled around the dog two or three times before speaking, "What is your name, small one."

"Badehunna, most just call me Henna." the smaller dog said, unphased by the intimidation play that Rocky was using.

"What brings you here?" Iggy asked, hopeful that another female would join the group.

"As I said, I was sent by the stars to join your group." Henna said with a smile. even though she was half the size of any other dog there.

Rocky shrugged and let her stay, another dog was another dog. It wasn't like she was a tiny dog, so she could still be useful. Rocky bid them all a good night and went to bed.

~THE NEXT DAY~

Rocky woke up to hear talking out in camp. He walked out and saw that his whole kennel was up and talking. He doled out orders and left camp for a patrol.

Pack of Olympic Forest

Blue stood in front of Raleigh. "The humans are setting traps," he reported. "I don't know for what, but we can assume for us."

Raleigh nodded. She had known it was only a matter of time before the humans came for her pack. "Thank you. I would have you stay here and finish Briar's training today. He is behind. I will go and investigate these tr-"

Raleigh was cut short by a shrill howl of pain. Pie, who was nearby, bolted up.

"Starkie's pups!" He barked.

Raleigh sprang into action. "Blue, get Rowdy and Mousie to Starkie, then teach Briar. Pie, you can go hunting or stay here. I am taking Pebble on patrol." She and Pebble trotted off.

"I'm going hunting," Pie told Blue.

Jack was upset by this statement. "Yer a father, Pie! Ye gotta stay!"

"You can come with me or let me go," Pie growled.

"I'll come then," Jack groused.

"Me too," Freya chipped in.

She cursed under her breath, leapt back down into her cave and to her surprise saw a mottled dog sitting there calmly. Before she could say anything he spoke. "Hey, I'm Ridge.
"You're trespassing! Get out while you still have all of your fur!" Billie snarled, jaws snapping threateningly. He chuckled quietly.
"Why would you hurt the dog sent to be your beta?" His tail thumped on the stone.
"You're lucky! Our ancestors just saved your pelt!" She took a deep breath to calm herself. "Well I guess you aren't that bad if your not my enemy... As a packmate your kind of charming. May I ask how you snuck in here without me realizing?" She let her long pink tongue slip out curiously.
"Either I was being more cunning than usual or you're stupid!" Ridge smirked jokingly, blue eyes shining. Billie rolled her eyes.
"Ok, ok! Don't push it! If you're my beta you won't mind going hunting. Off you go!" She chuckled as she watched him leave the cave before heading out herself to patrol.

Charlie led the way towards the border at a brisk pace, she didn't want the same incident that happened with the badgers and knew this was much different. As they drew near the border it was clear that they have moved closer to the territory and marked over their borders. A deceleration of war! Charlie let out a low growl, the other's with her kept their guard up as they fanned out to search.

Boss heard a growl and smirked, it looks like these pups want to take up their challenge! "Look alive fellas we have ourselves a rodeo to attend. I want their territory, I am sure they have a camp full of freshly killed prey just for us." he barked in an evil tone. "Wait for my signal, I want to let them spread further away from each other and we can take them one by one." he commanded. The two dogs he was with nodded and spread out themselves but stopped when they saw a smallish black and white dog come their way. Bandit got closer to the ambush spot as the scent grew stronger hear, he was just about to bark for the others before he found himself under attack by a trio of vicious rogues.

Bandit knew he was out numbered and knew there wasn't much he could do but he would not let these dogs get close to camp, not while his pups were there. The husky bit into the closest dog's ear and tore at it, though not for long as a large mouth went around his front leg and even he heard the bone crunching in the jaws. Bandit let out a loud yelp before landing another bite at the same dog, happy to see that they decided this was not worth it as the others came to Bandit's aide.

Stone and Wallen threw themselves at the other dog, they found him easy to conquer and to be honest found themselves a little disappointed they didn't get to show off more moves they have been working on. Once they were sure the two dogs were far away and still running they went to help Bandit up but saw that Charlie was still in the middle of battling Boss, the leader. "Cowards!" The large grey dog howled before he snapped at the beta female. Missing as she easily dodged him, he was not as fast though as she whipped around and grabbed his scruff.

The move sent the large dog to the ground and that was when Charlie pinned him "If you move an inch without my say so, I will kill you." she snarled menacingly. Stone and Wallen even found that cold and pinned their ears back and looked away as they continued to help their injured comrade.

Boss complied, his eyes narrowed though when Charlie let him up. The beta didn't let her eyes off the male though and just barked the command "Wallen you help Bandit, Stone I want you to flank this dog. We are taking him to camp, Kodiak can decide what to do with him." It was a clear order and no one wanted to argue with the adrenaline filled beta.

Kodiak and his patrol returned to camp just as Charlie and her group come in to view. With the group the alpha spotted a large dog flanked by Stone and Charlie. Behind them Wallen guided Bandit, who appeared to be limping. The alpha let out a low growl, ready to hear what happened.

Upon arriving back at camp Wallen took Bandit straight to Parker so the shaman could begin to fix the male. Once Bandit was being taking care of by Parker, Wallen excused himself to join his sister and the rest of the pack. In the main cave Kodiak stood in front of Boss, the leader of the rouges while the rest of the pack stood around him. Charlie had just informed the alpha of what had happened, even told him about how the rouges said they would be back.

The alpha growled, but thankful none of his pack mates had perished. They where strong, serving the pack well. "Stone, I'd like you to take the first watch over this mongrel." Kodiak said, growling the last word as he looked over at Boss. The large gray pit nodded his head, shoving the large rouge into a small gave before sitting outside and keeping an eye on the large male.

The alpha turned to the rest of the pack getting patrols around. He wanted to make sure the pack was safe and had food during the oncoming harsh weather. Letting out a small sigh Kodiak shook his head before standing up tall. "Charlie, take Wallen and go on another patrol. Make sure those mutts are gone. Daisy, Thunder, Nina, and Korra go get some more hunting done. I shall go speak to the ancestors. Stay sharp when your out there." he barked. Each patrol dispersed, heading out. Kodiak waited for them to leave before heading out himself.

Troy watched as the female walked away, her tail and posture screamed submissive after a small scuffle went down. He was nice though to her, as he went easy on her and didn't inflict any real damage.

"I thought we are suppose to protect every female on our territory?" Zak looked up at his mentor, a hint of disappoint ment was in his voice as he knew he wouldn't get the chance to know her better.

"Not tresspasers with no respect." Troy barked.

"But she was just a little older than me...I don't understand." Zak whimpered at the alpha.

"She could have been hungry and tired. Maybe all she needed was some rest and some food?" Kalven chimed in.

Troy let out a sigh and looked at the disappearing pelt, with a groan he looked at Kalven and Chance "Go get her and escort her back to camp. If she shows interest go ahead and explain to her about her role and our roles." he ordered. The two brutes nodded and took off after the female. "You need to get some rest Zak, we get up early again to continue our training." The tenderpaw frowned, he wasn't tired and he was much to excited about the new dog that would be joining.

It was a cold evening in leaf fall and Troy knew it, he was shivering every now and then but controlled the urge to continuously do so. He couldn't say much for his mate though, Alvena hasn't stopped the violent movements for some time now. Even when he came to press himself against her. The alpha took one last scan over the others and saw that they were doing alright, Shiver and her pups were in their den with Butch laying right in front of the door way to trap the heat inside; it seemed to keep him warm as well. All the others had made their grass nests and laid against each other for warmth.

After the last tremble of coldness Troy got up and nuzzled Alevna's side "Follow me." he commanded and pushed her up with his nose.

"I was just starting to get warm." Alevna complained but still went with him.

Troy lead the way to a hidden area, it was clear there had been some digging in this area and some one had cleaned it up. "I was going to wait until we had pups together but I made a den. The inside is lined with grass and leafs and a bit of moss so our pups would be comfortable but I think you need the warmth it creates and holds." Troy admitted. The entire time he was being kind he looked away as if was embarrassed.

Alevna looked in amazement, she had not noticed that he dug this out and made it just for her and their unborn pups. She licked his cheek affectionately before dipping into the spacious den, accepting his gift. Troy followed in behind her and sat next to her, fiddling with some of the leaves that stuck out of the bedding, he growled after a while and gave up. Alvena chuckled at that "If we do have pups you would need more patience than that." she commented. Troy just rolled his eyes at her, not wanting to destroy the moment with any comments that might upset his stubborn mate.

Ardala had given birth to four pups. Lochlain hadn't been able to leave her side, so in awe and wonder of his own pups he was. Ardala stared fondly at the four bundles cradled in the crook of her belly. They were so alive - squirming and whining, only one moon and wrestling with each other. "They're us, darling." Ardala smiled brightly at Lochlain and nodded lightly, "One brute and three faes, Lochlain." She nuzzled them for a second before continuing, "Conall, Duvessa, Fiona and Sorcha." Lochlain's tail thumped against the ground as he lowered himself to lay next to his mate and nuzzle her fondly, "Beautiful."

Suddenly the sound of paws thundering into camp caused Lochlain's head to shoot up. The male stood and went to the nursery entrance to watch intently. Bear and Liezel thundered into camp, eyes glimmering with excitement. Bear sprinted to a rock and leaped atop it, "Lochlain, Isak, Torra, Graham!" Bear's commanding bark echoed through camp and soon enough the four summoned dogs appeared. The looked at Bear, each gaining the same excitement the alpha held in his own eyes, "Liezel and I caught the scent of a boar - it's time for a hunt!" Bear snarled excitedly and turned to leave, the party of five following on his heels.
