Their design is pretty neat! I love the snakey tail and split-colors concept. The face markings and eye color are really appealing to me. I also really like the little sun/moon on the front paws. My main issue is the markings on the torso itself, they seem basic compared to those on the face and tail. If they were more snakey, or if the tail markings were simplified, the design would flow better imo.

The arrow piercings are cute, I'm not sure how I feel about the deer skull though. Overall I do like em

5/10 - this is just personal preference, They just don’t fall under the kinda character I like.
My biggest thing is I feel like the markings are super random and not all of them fit together? Between the fluid markings on his tail and the hard markings on the back and shoulder it just doesn’t work quite together.
But I do really like the orange side, they are nice shades of orange and yellows, easy to look at and work well together! The purple also is a nice mix but I feel like the split sides just is a bit much? Granted I love how it looks on the face.
His skull mask is pretty cool as well, I’m a sucker for skull markings/accessories.
Would definitely love to learn more about them.

7/10 - such an interesting kid, loving the goo like under belly and neck..I think my biggest issue is the colours, they are a a little too bright for me and maybe could use some darker markings to break it up.
Would be interesting to see maybe an accessory or a few more markings to help the design stand out?

He’s a blind boy, born without eyes. His vision is pretty much equal to what daredevil from marvel has. So he’s still able to function in life.
The wraps are optional on both canine and human form.

He’s an angry boy, unable to form any kind of relationship with anyone. Cold and cut off with the world in general.

8/10: out of my own preference, the character is rated at an eight but hes totally a ten star dude! i really love his simple design- in human and canine form. simplicity makes my heart go around! i also think its really cool to have those spikes along his spine- i dont know if theyre metal or anything like that, but they look rad as heck and im really curious as to why he has them, honestly. the missing eyes add a bit of a creepy but unique type of vibe to him? i see characters that are just, like, missing eyes due to scars or past fights or something but not because they dont have eyes at all, so thats cool to see!
going onto the clothes design, i do feel like its a bit bland, but i love the style too so it doesnt really matter! i just think that a splash of color, maybe red or something, would look cool against the darker look! but hes alright how he is so its not something im overly focused on. super pleasing and simple to look at so its a plus in my book. i want to point out that i really love the bandages too- i always have a soft spot for cool face accessories like that!
i also adore the hair and can really dig how well it blends in with the canine design without looking too out of place? it looks like a mane which can be accounted for as overgrown fur and whatnot, so i like it a lot! overall, hes a star dude, i absolutely adore everything about him and hes a good character in my mind!

hes a loud mutated macaw creature that just wants your peaches and pomegranates! hes relatively clean, surprisingly, and can flip out if one of his feathers is ruffled or out of place. he preens himself daily and will not hesitate to do the same to a little human or something else thats small and able to be groomed. he loves to sleep too and if hes not searching for some fruit, hes probably perched on a giant oak, asleep!
overall, hes a sweet bird but he isnt keen on the idea that hes a lot bigger than everything else around him which can make him a bit clumsy although still elegant? the critics wonder how he pulls it off.

i like the use of red and gold in the outfit and the it's overall pretty well designed. the outfit is pretty flawless and you can really tell that he's royalty. the thing that throws me off is the color choice in the body. the pink/purple doesn't fit so well with all of the red. the colors of the stripes in the horns is also a little odd to me. purple and red doesn't really work with me i guess. overall he's a nicely done character and i like the traits he has such as the tail and hooves, but the purple just doesn't work with me.

Okay, so I am gonna lay this out there, this character is not my typical cup of tea but I'm gonna try to be as fair as I would be otherwise.
I actually really enjoy how clean his design is, I love the horns and tail, and really admire that you carried his eye color with the inside of his cape. I feel like it's really working. However, his body is lacking some dimension but that could easily be fixed by a light or dark gradient on the horns and tail (but not both light and dark accents)
As for the scar I am personally not a fan of the color, but if I am allowed to offer some tips, typically if a scar is old it may be dark or light (depending on how the skin would react, on dogs scars turn dark but on people are usually light, I suppose an humanoid it would not matter much) But a colored scar is typically a fresh scar. Personally I don't feel like pink scars really help a design. I love his clothes and items a lot! I think you've done a lovely job! However, I'm unsure of fingerless gloves are helping you out? Maybe to give his hands some more detail like a tattoo or gradient. Overall I really enjoy him! I think he's really cool and his design is very clear.

This is Finnley. She's an african civet.
She is a runaway servant from a kingdom that she used to serve as a maid. She was the secret lover of the 'mad' prince. When the prince started to plot against his tyrant of a father, Finnley rejected the idea, believing that no matter how evil someone was they didn't deserve to die, and murder wasn't the answer. And she was terrified that the prince would turn into his father. Finnley refused to be part of the prince's plot and even would refuse to see him because of it. Which only made the prince grow more paranoid and drove further into this scheme because he feared Finnley was rejecting him because of her fear of the king. Finnley, in love with the prince but unable to be part of nefarious schemes and fall victim to the prince's evergrowing anger, she fled the kingdom with a pirate. When the prince and his guards cornered Finnley and the pirates on the docs, the pirate she rescued and was escaping with pretended to kidnap her, that it was his idea to take Finnley and leave. Ever since Finnley has been in hiding as a prisoner, the pirates using this to their advantage to not be attacked by the kingdom's forces.

9/10 -- I need to say that I am in love with this character, good golly! I love the species, as well as her really soft palette, while being natural, is still unique. Is that a crescent moon on her back/by her shoulder blades? I honestly love little patterns like that. I am in love with her backstory, it is the type of story I could easily see being a illustrated novel. The only thing that I might say is not my cup of tea, is the green collar/band around the neck. While I LOVE a good wide band around the neck, as well as the tassels hanging off of it, I found that I really loved the red and gold one found in her sta.sh better. I think that is gives a much needed pop of color that still flows with her patterns, and it makes the blue of her eyes stand out and pop more. Though, all that is just my personal opinion. Either way, she is a well rounded character with a super fun backstory that I would love to read about. Overall, she's super amazing, I honestly love her, she looks insanely fun to draw.


How about Khaos? I just got him today, and I'm not super big fan of the two pink spots on his back, but I would love some ideas on him! Really tempted to turn the pink into a blue and maybe add some cool swirling/smoke effects to him.

Quick ideas I have for a backstory, not fully fleshed out or super super set on yet.
He was once a deity of the forest, a spirit in the form of a massive black elk. He was a curious and lively being, often captivated by the smallest of things, known to stare at things for hours, such as flowers, bees, and tree leaves swaying in the winds. He was gentle, kind and quiet, loving the smallest of things in life. Soon a dark deity, a deity of fire whose own sanctuary had been destroyed, turning him into a monster, began to burn down his forest. The hatred and death from his forest burning began to seep into him, slowly poisoning Khaos until he too began to turn chaotic and full of rage. He was confused, the fires of the dark deity clouding his mind and changing him. Turning on the forest creatures, he finished the destruction of his forest, his mind filled with rage and confusion. His form shifted into his current form, now he is lost, roaming the wastelands in search of his forest. Occasionally he will have flashes of his old self, but until his forest is returned to a state of life, he is cursed with rage and chaos.

9/10 Ooh never really seen a Chupacabra character before, this boy is really cool! They fit the modern definition of the creature, very well though I would personally implement a little bit of vampire bat in there as well, to resonate with the more older definitions. A combination of the modern variation of the Chupacabra, along with older descriptions of it, but that's more just personal choice.

Overall, there's not really much else I can say. They essentially fit the Chupacabra creature well. which I love is stated in the stuff you managed to make up for him. The only thing I don't like much is the orange skin that his back spikes are coming out of along with the tail. It stands out from the more darker color of their body, so should either be a color similar to the rest of him, or have a natural color.
Other then that though, I really like them.


Oxdis? By Kelina1080

Oxdis is essentially a undead Therizinosaurus that was revived via the use of magic, but retaining her skull even though she can grow feathers and skin over it, mainly when around others so as to appear less frightening. She's kind of a worry wart, and most anything can send her into a panic. Regardless though, Oxdis can be relatively friendly with others, it just takes a bit of effort. She dabbles in Occult magic, and able to do things such as being able to communicate with spirits, or even traverse to the "other side". The magic does come with repercussions though, depending on how much she uses can exhaust Oxdis easily. So she tries her best to avoid using spells that require a lot of magic.

first off, i adore how she not something as common as a canine or feline, and how her pallet doesn’t consist of entirely blues or a singular color. the purple mixed with the yellow rings contrasts together really nicely? and it doesnt seem too complex, or too plain looking. the skull part of her is very interesting as well! i love how it ties into her backstory, and how she specializes in magic and such. i don’t particularly have anything negative to say about her, although maybe a different shade of eyes would look slightly nicer with her skull? other than that, shes pretty close to being perfect.
