Sighing softly, Pixels closed her eyes, trying to focus with the fairly large crowd around her. She didn't want to vote for the most obvious right away, like Shyama for example, but she didn't really know who else to vote for. Althea seemed to be the only one with any evidence that she could possibly be the killer. Having made her decision, Pixels swallowed nervously and slowly began speaking. "I'm truly sorry, but right now I have so little evidence. I vote for Althea."

Sneaky's eyes widened in terror at the news of Poopkee's death. He actually liked the guy, even if he was a little odd. "I... I don't..." Sneaky attempted to get a sentence out, but fear gripped him. Someone had DIED in this peaceful little town! What if it was a monster? What if it went after him next? He mentally smacked himself. 'Get ahold of yourself Sneaky!' He shouted mentally, 'You're an adventurer! Adventurers don't get scared!' He cleared his throat quietly.

"I... I gotta vote for Althea. I'm really sorry if it isn't you, but there isn't much to go off of..." Sneaky's voice got smaller and more scared the longer his sentence went on, being almost inaudible and filled with terror as he finished. He hoped he didn't look as scared as he felt- that would be embarrassing.

Cuddles gasped in shock at the news of Poopkee's death. But... The odd-looking friendly male at always been nice, and now he was dead. Trembling at the news of his former friend Cuddles spoke up "I'm sorry but.. I think it was Althea." He squeaked. He looked down, boy was this miserable! But, Althea made friends with the innocent and was always flirty. Was this her cover story?

Buster sat quivering in a little ball at the foot of the huddle, feeling sad and scared. Unfortunately, he had seen something like this before in a classroom. A child had stolen something important, A handbag filled with candy, from the teacher. She hoped by announcing it to the class, the unlucky chap would come forth, but instead, the children turned on each other trying to figure out who had stolen it. However, it is much different when a life is at stake. Buster shook his furry head and started walking in circles. Think with your head. After several minutes, Buster waddled up to the front and announced in his loudest voice,
" Although it pains me to say this, I think it's Althea," he looked at Sakura, " You are right, Cecil does reap souls but only the ones he knows are guilty. So, since it is his job, he must be good at finding out who is guilty or not, and he picked Althea," Buster now turned to the beautiful blue haired dog. " I'm so sorry, it's the only bit of proof out there." He held back tears.

Sakura sighed deeply, casting her eyes down. The others all had voted for Althea. What did it matter? She no longer suspected Cecil, after all. And Althea had been observed snapping at males. Did she have a grudge against them? Perhaps Poopkee (I keep snickering every time I write this as well x3) had made her angry? "Well, I suppose the evidence you propose, though quite minimal, is better than no evidence at all. I apologize, Cecil. My vote is now Althea. I again apologize sincerely if you are in fact innocent, but one must be tested, and my vote falls on you." Her gaze fell to the grass again, which again shivered around her paws as sorrow flooded her heart for the terrible deed that had been committed.

When Riley first head about Poopkee's death she was horrified to think that one might murder another in the quiet town of smoothieville. After the initial shock, Riley cleared her mind and decided she would need to think straight if she was to vote. Nearly everyone so far has voted for Althea. As Riley listened to the others reasons for their vote, she came to the conclusion that she would place her vote against Althea. She cleared her voice and spoke slowly and clearly. "I will place my vote against Althea."
