The vulpix decided to attack first.... It charged with a tackle that dealt a bit of damage to fern!

Fern takes the brunt of the hit before shaking itself out. Fern tries to appear scary by growling and scratching at the ground before deciding to charge the vulpix with a tackle as well.

It was a critical hit! the vulpix struggled to stand up! perhaps this is the time to throw a pokeball at it and hopefully catch it?

Skippy walked out of the Pokelab with his new starter, a Snivy named Jiffy, and a tub of peanut butter. Jiffy didn't want to leave the Pokelab, so Skippy had to put him into his backpack. Jiffy began whining as he did not want to leave, and Skippy kinda felt sorry for him. But it was too late! His dad had already sent him on his way to become a fierce Pokemon competitor. That means training for a long time.

Lilliana let out a small yelp as the Dragonair slammed down onto Buddy, as its body lifted Buddy looked confused as he wobbled around. Lilliana huffed and slowly walked towards the Dragonair, holding out her hand, in it was a Pokeball. She knew her team probably didn't stand a big chance against the Pokemon so she tried a more.. gentle approach. "Hey, i'm sorry.. I hurt you and all earlier.. Maybe you'd like to join us, without us having to harm you?" she asked, her tone was quiet. Monsoon began to creep next to Lilliana's leg and looked up to the Dragonair like it was some cool kind of family member at a Christmas dinner.

See'ing her chance, Marry fished a pokeball from her bag,clutching it tightly and giving a silent wish before tossing it at the vulpix.

Finally, Skippy got to the grassy training area, and put Jiffy down. He clung to Skippy's leg, and Skippy sighed. This was going to be a long ride, wasn't it?
He trotted through the grass, with Jiffy still attached to his leg. Suddenly, the grass began to shake, and a Pokemon appeared!

seeing the pokeball click, Marry gasped and jumped in excitment, pumping a fist in the air. Fern moves over to pick up the pokeball in their mouth and bring it over to Marry, who pet the bulbasuar before slipping the ball onto her belt. She nods her head and picks up Fern to hold before heading along once more with a smile on her face.

As Skippy jumped as he saw the shiny Boldore jump out of the grass, Jiffy tumbled back into a Quagsire that was following them. Jiffy screamed, and ran back to Skippy. Skippy looked over at the Quagsire, and then at the Boldore. Ahh, decisions, decisions.
