Alani is a loner. She prefers to be alone in a forest, listening to the trickling of a creek or the chirping of birds. She's also very intelligent and loves to solve things as well as learn new things. Some would say she's rude, but it's just that she doesn't really know how to interact with others, and resorts to ignoring them or sounding blunt.

She's a made up species, though I suppose mainly wolf.

My ears perked at the word. Codex. I nodded. "Hm-m. Abstergo would do anything to get their hands on that book, wouldn't they?"

He shrugged. "It is a pretty important book I guess." He pushed me out of the way and grabbed the ball. "So a book of importance has to have a hiding place."

"It's secret."

He shook his head, as if remembering something. "When mom told me you were getting the book, I was so mad that Uncle Angelo didn't give it to me. I would do anything for that book."
