I'd want an owl or something, assuming I had the knowledge and patience to keep one in good health in that scenario. Some kind of bird or raptor at least. In real life though, I know I'm not capable of keeping anything like that, so I'd realistically go with a pigeon or a dove someday. If I wasn't so sensitive to noises I'd do research on keeping a small parrot right away lol

oh my gosh you said academic paper and i panicked because one look at those things scares me so much and brings back so many memories. my favorite book? i'd honestly say that right now it's "a clash of steel". a story surrounding two sapphics in ancient asia on a trip to find this mysterious treasure

yo. i never really eat breakfast, but if this is solely about what kind of "traditional breakfast food" i enjoy eating,,, probably just buttered toast if i want something savoury, and pancakes if i want something sweet

> i was handed a complaint in english from the USA today. really breaks up the monotony of work,,, well, not really, but the complainant did give me his german family's entire life story, so i guess that was interesting to read. maybe we can bond over the fact we both had relatives who were prisoners of war in Russia during WWII (is what i would say if i wasn't just gonna pass a translation off to the retirement home in question to let them handle it further)
