Working on my plot
Pikashine could barely keep her eyes open. Sure, she liked her new home, but she'd still not got used to staying up all night guarding it! Her eyelids flickered shut and she let her fluffy head sink onto her chest, sinking gently into sleep. She was safe here: she was sure. They'd never find her. She hoped. She was still shocked to have found her younger best friend, Coltpaw here as well. The other molly had barely survived their old home and Pikashine was overjoyed to see her flourishing here. This Clan was beautiful. He would never follow her here.
"Uh... excuse me?" A voice cut through her half-awake mind and she snapped her head upright, startled and afraid. "No, no, back away," she whimpered. But as the new cat swam into focus she finally relaxed, it was not anyone she knew. Nor did the scent match that of her former Clan. "Sorry," she muttered. "But who are you?" The cat staggered forwards, and Pikashine registered their patchy fur and clearly defined ribs. "Are you hungry?" They brushed past her and stumbled through the thorny wall into the camp and literally folded into themself, collapsing.
"Ah," Pikashine grimaced. She pawed at the cat, whose eyes had rolled back into their head and then fetched a mouse from the fresh kill pile. The cat didn't move, and Pikashine began to panic. She pelted to the medicine den and spotted Twigpaw making sure Daisypaw was comfortable. "They're starving! Dieing," Pikashine squeaked and Twigpaw blinked blankly. "What? Wait, I'm coming," they mewed and glanced quickly at Daisypaw, who nodded, tucking her injured flank closer to her side.
"Here," Pikashine wailed, prodding the mouse at the side of the now unconcious stranger. Twigpaw began to chew the mouse into mush, muttering to Pikashine, "lick their fur the wrong way!" She followed their command and fluffed up the new cat's fur. Twigpaw handled their jaw and wrenched it apart, slopping the gooey prey into it. "Straighten them up," they told Pikashine. She did so and Twigpaw began to massage their throat, forcing the strange cat to swallow. They repeated the action, poking in more mouse and massaging again. The cat began to stir, stretching out their thin, bony limbs.
"To the medicine den for this one, I think," Twigpaw murmured, latching her jaws around their scruff and dragging them to the den. Daisypaw looked up, interested. "Who's this?" "Not sure, you can ask them when they wake up." Twigpaw lay the skinny form on a nest. "I'll take feeding duty until they wake up," Pikashine offered. "Thank you. Just once every half hour or so." She nodded at Twigpaw's words and headed out again, to a wall of goggling eyes.
