• AviaryClan is transitioning from the Site to CS. They will be taking the place of the Order as my Hard Mode Clan, so AviaryClan enters Hard Mode this moon.

• Fuzzyfur is welcomed as an Owl.

• A large fire breaks out in the territory, killing numerous cats. Pewee, Fulica, Duck, Mallard, Sapsucker, Petrel, Stilt, Vireo, Swallow, Chachalaca, Whip-Poor-Will, Harris, Ani, Rufous, Lark, Gadwall, Ibis, Tanager, Phoebe, Oriole, Loon, Saw, Grebe, Eider, Wilson, Mississippi, Harlequin, Riparia, Bobwhite, Vesper, Crane, Bell, and Sora lose their lives in the blaze.

ixxx▬( - Balladsnuff's patrol was brought to a halt as the jarring scent of a grizzly bear flooded the area. A low snarling filled their ears, and the four cats barely had the time to turn around before the brute let out a mighty roar. Mirra and Clambite charged forward, bravely choosing to put themselves between the bear and their clanmates. With a swipe of the bear's paw, the two were sent flying and slamming into a tree trunk. Mirra felt bone break, and she will need x1 stick, x1 bindweed, and x1 moon of rest. Clambite barely regained consciousness to notice a large gash down his side. He will need x1 cobweb, x1 horsetail, and x1 moon of rest. Balladsnuff and Hemlockhide managed to carry their battered clanmates away from the bear, but they both sustained cuts and bruises from fleeing. They will both need x1 cobweb. Unable to carry out any plan to lure it away from the territory, the bear may return or it may leave on its own. )
ixxx▬the rainforest surrounding the patrol was quiet, until it wasn't. until balladsnuff's gentle hums crested the ridge he was climbing, until the grizzly bear that could probably eat every cat in totemclan with it's gargantuan size rose up with bloodied paws from it's feast upon a white pelted mountain goat. until it's nose quivered as it scented cat on the air, until it's head snapped to face the patrol members, all of which had frozen in place as soon as the grizzly had come into sight.

The Twolegs
It was nearing mid-day when the man exited his freshly cleaned truck, his freshly polished boots barely making a dent in the noise that covered the air. Murmurs of conversation, boisterous and jovial, spread through the air, very barely audible over the loud roar of the machines surrounding the once abandoned highway and once abandoned town. The sun was at its peak, the heat causing radiant ripples near the asphalt, the breeze next to nonexistent. Despite the heat, the spirits in the group were high. The job had finally gained the financial support that was needed, and the junk removal process could begin and was well underway by the time the manager got there to see the progress. He hummed to himself a bit as he watched the construction clang around him, slight smirk frozen on his features as he thought about the future. His workers were getting the job done, and all would be well...

After a few minutes, the heat became too annoying for the man to want to watch from the lack of cover and deal with the beating sun. He gave a friendly wave to the nearest construction worker, clambering back into his truck and turning the AC on full blast. Not quite ready to leave just yet, he tuned into his favorite music station, letting the rhythm drown out the unpleasant noises of machinery, if only for a little while. His thoughts drifted to the conversation he had with his father, the one who was convinced this plan would never work, that this highway and town were too far gone for any bank to give him a loan to fix it up. The man closed his eyes, thankful that he could receive the opportunity to prove his father wrong, as he thought about the last interaction he had with his old man.

"It'll never work," the older man said softly, rolling his eyes and pushing his chair away from the table, where his son had laid down pictures of abandoned cars and abandoned buildings alongside blueprints for a new town, for a cleared out highway. "That place is too far gone and has been for a while. Think of the overgrowth, the plants and animals' homes you'd be destroying. It's not worth the money."

The son was used to this treatment by now, living with his father his whole thirty-five years of existence. Though he may be considered young by his father's standards, he didn't feel innocent or naive anymore. "I know what I want to get myself into," he pressed sternly, gathering the pictures back up. "I don't need your help - I just wanted to let you know what I'd be working on." A short pause. "Mom would be proud at least," he didn't try to hide the venom in his voice, looking smugly back at the expression on his father's face before turning away. "You know where to find me." Without another word, the son left his father's apartment, not a plan in his mind to ever return without his father admitting he was wrong.

And he would be wrong. This was a good idea. It was all coming together...

The Cat
Midnight always lurked through the shadows of the starlight, sticking to the cover of trees or behind any structure she could find large enough to conceal her brighter eyes blinking into the darkness. She had been watching the Twolegs for a few moons now, watching the slow progress they made in clearing out the old Monsters left behind, creating dust and debris where there used to be vegetation and plant growth. Though her home was being destroyed right in front of her eyes, she felt too attached to this place to leave. She closed her eyes in the dying light, tail twitching in annoyance. It always felt like Twolegs messed things up. But still, she stayed to watch the Twolegs' progress, if only to satiate the curiosity she had to see what was going to happen next. It was all a big adventure to the young she-cat as she watched, day after day, small progress being made.

But small progress could only be so interesting for so long. Eventually, she ventured further away from the sound of the daily construction, spending more time in the surrounding forests, visiting caves or waterfalls or other pieces of the forest, still untouched by humankind. She preferred the shadow cover offered by the Twoleg buildings, the alleyways perfect for hiding, but allowed her curiosity to get the better of her while the Twoleg machines raged on in the distance. Once they were done, she knew she'd go back, able to hide from the Twolegs themselves, but too wary to try to hide from their Monsters.

It was in the forest that she found the strange bit of water, almost drawn to it as if she were in a trance. Without really knowing why, she stuck her nose in the icy waters of the glowing pool, thrown into a strange world with a strange cat. It was here she learned of Roseclaw, an ancestor of this area, as she called it, and it was here she vowed to carry on the legacy of a clan.

TwilightClan came into reality, the starry paws of Roseclaw guiding Midnight to lead the new clan. As the Twoleg town became a reality, Midnight became Midnightstar, receiving her nine lives as a leader of a clan, and returning to haunt the alleys of the town.

Now, the first step would be recruiting more cats...

- Oakbark seems down about the way Bayleaf exclaims that they aren't mates, but Dogwood assures him that they likely just didn't want to cause any confusion

- Splitear pushes Jaggedear to focus on Briarcreek, saying he's doing better.

- Melodywarbler continues hanging around Nola despite what he was told to do

- Glowpelt gets closed to confessing to Snowbell, but then Spiritbreeze arrival causes a commotion
- Shadowsight is confused, albeit happy to see Spiritbreeze
-Sealcomet on the other hand is not

- Elmspark is pushed to the edge when Dusteye happily announces her pregnancy
- In his anger, he comes up with a plot to frame Shadestripe for another crime, and shares it with Windclaw

- Mistrise joins the clan, but shortly after Ashcloud arrives and says that Swanflight's sister is in trouble
- Mistrise insists she will take care of it, as she knows Swanflights family well, and insists she needs no help.
- Despite her distaste for him, Swanfight goes to Windclaw
- Ashcloud later asks Windclaw in Swanflights sister really is in trouble, or if he told a lie for Windclaw, to which he simply replies "She's not in any danger by me"

- In the night, Windclaw gathers up Sleekshines kit(s) and takes them out to where Mistrise is now hiding out

- The clan is awoken to Sleekshines distraught cries
- Laurelstar asks Sleekshie if she can remember hearing anything, but she can't
- Spothop chimes in stating that he saw a cat with a dark pelt near the den
-Windclaw asserts that it was shadeStripe
- Argument begins in the as Darkstep says is isn't possible
- In the midst of the cats fighting Shadestripe sneaks out, which Windclaw uses to affirm Shadestripes guilt

-Tigersoul and Snowshoe are suspicious of their brother

-Shadowsight says that things are getting emergent, and Snowbell and Glowpelt pull together a patrol to discuss
-Spiritleap questions why Sealcomet is there, Brushfire explains that he's friend enough to be a ally

- It's stress time for Laurelstar

- Especially with the drama in the clan, Creamfoot prepares to hide Dawnrushs pregnancy if he can

--Phoenix introduction. They are a spacey cat with a mind for keeping things safe. A bit of their background, hopefully, will go here.
--The end of Nox Invictus as well. Kiri takes it upon themself to lead the willing cats somewhere safe.

GREENLEAF || The heat is nearly unbearable in some places, yet it is also welcome and comforting in others. The sun stays in the sky for longer than any portion of the year, and most creatures are active at dusk and dawn. Kittings come easier, and prey is easier to find. In any case, this is a season which provides more happiness than sorrow.
