i've really wanted to get into cosplaying and more specifically making my own cosplays. the main thing thats been keeping me from doing it is 1. my apartment is really small and i have very little space to store supplies, materials and finished cosplays without potentially damaging them, and 2. there's really no place to buy the materials at so finding what i need has been very very difficult.

Maybe some interactive feature between users? I know we've got the forums and pms and likes on oekaki, and this would probably be a nightmare to implement, but something like an anonymous "Someone dropped by today!" counter on your profile (which you could obviously opt out of, those are never fun if they aren't optional) that wouldn't track page views but optional pokes or something. I think it would be a fun little hehe someone looked at my signature today and appreciated it 😌 thing

• i was about to say the first time i beat THE Chess Nerd (/pos) in my chess club but then i remembered that i don't think i ever actually beat him rip LMAO. he was probably the best chess player i've met. so yeah, turns out my biggest brain moment was just a lie :pensive: /lh
  
  but uhhhh idk i felt pretty snazzy when i wrote short stories. it's been a long time since i've done that but i miss it (somewhat),, i think my favorite short story i wrote was about this guy who 'falls in love' with a girl,, and he like,, knows so much about her and it's like,, borderline creepy?? bc right, like, even though he has these feelings for her he could never actually, like,, talk to her,, bc he couldnt fathom like,, actual doing the human things like,, speaking to someone you like,, but then he like actually gets His Chance or whatever and it turns out she's a lesbian,,
  and that was supposed to be about like,, my own failings when it comes to Romance or whatever,, bc like,, i used to be really obsessed with the idea of finding a partner,, and i would have all these crushes (not at the same time,, most of the time anyway) but i just, felt utterly incapable of talking to them,, and like,, i would end up just like watching people from afar,, and like,, thinking about them quite a bit and feeling like i knew them but also not really knowing them at all,, i understand now that it also was like,, a way for me to express my feelings of frustration about my social ineptitude. but that wasn't really the main focus ykyk,,
  there was also like,, a subplot where the main character was a ghost and the 'love interest' was like,,, alive, right? like,, idk maybe it was to just,, further the idea of like,, how i felt invisible to the people i thought i cared most about, but i don't really remember LMAO,, could be that i just thought a ghost would be cool,,, only young arcade could say for sure
  SO YEAH, idk that story has its issues but i look back on it fondly.

pretty meh, took myself on a craft store excursion in the morning so i can keep working on christmas presents, and then went grocery shopping. completed one of my presents, took a nap, and now i'm here. currently listening to deftones bc they are my favorite artist at the moment :]
