Alicia and Shy stared at the Pokémon for a while. She then turned to Shy, “what do you think, Shy? Would you like to battle?” The words hung in the air, and the Froakie shook back and forth. Alicia has no idea what that meant.

“Froakie..” Shy said, a very tentative speech, “Froak..?” Alicia tilted her head at it. Was that a yes? She smiled at it, trying to encourage the Froakie to speak more. Alicia looked back at the Shroomish. It did seem to want to fight.. but she wasn’t sure if she wanted to.

Shy stepped forwards. It looked more confident, and stared at her as if ‘are you coming?’ Alicia was startled. “Not so shy are you now, huh, Shy?” She smiled at Shy, stepping towards herself.

So it looked like they were going to battle the Shroomish.

Alicia sucked in a breath, “Shy, use Pound!” ❞

❛ꜱʜʏ finally gained its courage, and confidence, and bounced into action. the froakie hopped up, landing on the opposing pokemon's head with a pound. shroomish let out a small grumble, before using tackle. the shroomish's attack failed, because ꜱʜʏ leapt out of the way. ❜

A rather peeved looking bounsweet was glaring daggers at Genesis, who at least managed to look a tiny bit embarassed by the whole ordeal. "A bounsweet... huh. Never seen one of those before" Emilia muttered before glancing down at Genesis, who's collar of flames seemed to be flaring almost irritantely. "You want to try taking some of that anger out bud?" she whisperd to the pokemon, who trilled happily in response. "Alright then! Use tackle!" Emilia called out as Genesis slammed into the bounsweet. ❞

❛ɢᴇɴᴇꜱɪꜱ nodded, before runningup to the bounsweet and launching itself into the air. ɢᴇɴᴇꜱɪꜱ landed on the bounsweet, tumbling on the ground with it in the process. this move seemed to be effective! the bounsweet used 'play nice', but it didn't affect ɢᴇɴᴇꜱɪꜱ.❜

Quickly He pulled out the pokedex to check just what this pokemon is. Vulpix, The Fox Pokemon, Alolan Form is what the screen had told him. "Isn't Alolan Vulpix weak to fire moves?" he had thought.

But knowing his charmander could not learn any fire moves yet he called for Ray to "Scratch It!". Seeing as Ray was so excited to fight. He Obeyed. ❞

Laura looked at her pokedex and read the moves quietly to herself. "Okay.." She focused on the Mudbray who was waiting for their attack. "Leif! Use tackle!" Laura called out. The shiny pokemon glanced up for a split second before lunging at her opponent, knocking them backwards, and then hopping away. "Snivy!" Leif said, clearly proud of herself. ❞

The Shelmet makes a worried noise looking up at you. You noticed it had a ribbon in his mouth that had writing on it. Taking a closer look it said "2nd place winner" for what it did not say. However you could guess by all the advertisements put up around town it was for a pokemon beauty contest. Perhaps it was looking for the owner of the medal?

Apple looked down at the writing. "Oh, are you trying to find someone? I bet they're at the contest. Do you want to check there?" She looked at one of the advertisements to see where it was, before beginning to head there. Luckily it wasn't far, so she arrived quickly, Sagebrush and the Shelmet at her heels.
