ahahah, yes, I'm back. here we go again, the uber-traditional namer that ruins everybody's fun.
rosewhisker - 9.5/10, okay well maybe I won't be a fun-ruiner this post. I like these names!
bluestorm - 10/10, I'm a particular fan of this one. -storm cats are great.
feathercloud - 7.5/10, the only one I'd a have a problem with. feather- is just rather...vague, if you get what I mean. what /kind/ of feather does the cat look like? there are so many different sorts!
cinderflower - 10/10, another one I really like.
snowclaw
cedarfang
wrenfur
fogstorm
no descriptions this time, I'm lazy.

Snowclaw - Pretty, but they don't really match... If you know what I mean? 8/10
Cedarfang - I don't think that cats would know what cedar was. And again, they don't match... 3/10
Wrenfur - I like it! Bird feathers! 9/10
Fogstorm - Pretty! 7/10
Blackheart
Daringheart
Moonpelt
Shimmerfur

blackheart - 2/10 OR 9/10, and this is why. for the first rating, that is when it is given to an "evil" cat. that would be a horrible way to get a warrior name, being known for being horrible or cold-hearted. I do not like it at all. for the second rating, it is a perfectly good name for a black cat that has strong morals and beliefs.
daringheart - 2/10, the prefix bugs me. how can a cat look like a "daring?" and once again, I think you're using this name to describe a particularly courageous cat. that's not how -heart is used (or at least how I use it). bravery and daring is appreciated in a clan, but there's not really a name given for it. perhaps -claw if it was in battle.
moonpelt - 4/10, my opinion on the prefixes moon- and sun- is unpopular, yes, so bear with me. I don't like them because those seem to be sort of sacred things to the cats, and naming one kitten with something like that is like putting it above the rest, something I'm sure the clan wouldn't take too kindly to. remember I'm ignoring the books here and using my naming system. if not for my beef with the celestial names, I'd say this is perfectly fine.
shimmerfur - 4/10, I don't really know how a kitten could "shimmer." it's not a bad name at all, I do like -fur, but the prefix is just a bit lyrical for my tastes.
oh, and I get what you mean by not "matching," but that's actually not what warrior names usually are supposed to do! the prefix and suffix each have a seperate meaning and reason for being given, and when they relate it's only coincidence.
and cedar is a tree. the cats have other specific tree names, such as willow- and birch- so why not cedar-?
falconfoot
lightflower
herontail
lizardfur

Blackheart ;; 8/10 reminds me of a cowboy xD
Daringheart ;; 4/10 not too keen on "Daringkit"
Moonpelt ;; 5/10 they rarely use 'moon' in their names.
Shimmerfur ;; 8/10 rolls off the tongue nicely :3
---
Falconfoot ;; 7/10
Lightflower ;; 8/10 simple and pretty <3
Herontail ;; 6.5/10 it's odd to me. I wouldn't normally pick that suffix for a bird prefix.
Lizardfur ;; 7/10
---
Driftsnow
Leafdrop
Fernwillow
Featherflight

(Bad review: -
Good review: +
Neutral review: =)
Driftsnow; 4/10
-It doesn't flow very well
-I'm not liking the sound of 'Driftkit'; it just sounds sort of mean/pointless
-I don't think they'd use -snow as a suffix, since 'snow' is usually just used to describe appearances; the way I look at it is the the beginning is generally something that relates to how a cat looks when its born or the queen's surroundings.
-Overall, I just don't like it. Sorry!
(Minus six points for six bad reviews)
Leafdrop; 7/10
+It flows well
+Both Leaf- and -drop are valid name endings/beginnings
+It is, I must admit, pretty
+I've never heard it before, so great job on originality
-I'm not a huge fan of -drop, since it's basically -fall's worse-sounding brother
-I'd need to know a description to really get a feel for the name, because I can't really see what a cat with this name would look or act like
-The name works, but I just wouldn't use it. (;
(Minus three points for bad reviews)
Fernwillow; 7/10
-The flow is sort of choppy
=It works, but I wouldn't use it
=Fern- is valid, but I down think they'd use -willow
-I'm not a big fan of using two plants in one name (;
-I can't get a feel for what this could would look like... long fur(-willow), green eyes(Fern-)... maybe?
+It is pretty
(Minus three points for bad reviews)
Featherflight; 9/1-
+I love both Feather- and -flight
+Together, Feather- and -flight sound good
+It flows well
+I like this name (XD)
-I'm not really seeing the reasoning with -flight; maybe she(or he, but it sounds like a she) is good at climbing or is a fast runner?
=I'd use it, but I'd need a cat that would really fit this one.
(minus one point for bad review)
Juniperleaf: Lively young she-cat with a light, sandy brown base coat, dark brown stripes, and dark green eyes.
(Reasoning for name; Juniper-: Juniperleaf was actually born under a juniper bush, so her mother chose that as an appropriate name. -leaf: Since Juniperleaf is a medicine cat and is very good at tracking down herbs, her mentor thought that -leaf was a very appropriate ending while naming her.
Frostfoot: Lithe, fiery, quick white tom with light blue eyes.
(Reasoning for name; Frost-: This one's a no-brainer; he's a white tom! But he was also born in the midst of leafbare, the only kit in his litter to survive, actually, so it's deeper than just a fur color. -foot: Well, anyone who has met Frostfoot would know why he's got 'foot' for an ending. This tom is very quick on his feet, and is currently the fastest cat in his clan.)
Embersky: Small, dark rusty-red she-cat; she appears to have no stripes, but if you move her fur up, very faint tabby markings are visible... she has dark, orange-amber eyes.
(Reasoning for name; Ember-: This is where Embersky is interesting. Ember- was given to her because of a very dreadful and special occasion, not just because her fur is red. It was a very dry greenleaf, and during a dry storm, lightning struck a tree, and the electrical shock sparked the leaves into open flame, incinerating the camp. Meanwhile, Embersky was being born... her mother called her 'Emberkit' because she said that the dying embers of where the fire had been but could burn no more were so beautiful, she wanted to capture the moment in her ironically red only kit. It's harsh, but nobody hold that against Embersky. -sky: Embersky is an excellent climber; being smaller than average and being able to climb very well allows her to get among the highest branches in a tree, which made this ending very suitable for her. Plus, she doesn't excel at neither hunting nor fighting.)
Cedarstripe: Big, brawny tom with a light brownish undercoat, thick, nearly black stripes, and amber eyes.
(Reasoning for name; Cedar-: Cedarstripe received this beginning, naturally, because he is a brown tabby and his fur color is reminiscent to that of his tree... plus, his mother had an unusual fondness with cedar trees. -stripe: Well... duh. He's a tabby, and his name beginning is Cedar-, symbolic for 'brown', so his name is basically a nice way of saying 'this guy right here is a brown tabby'. Plus, he's not very great at either hunting or fighting; he's a big tom, so he tends to make too much noise while he's hunting, not fit into tight spaces, and moves to slowly when fighting.)

Juniperleaf- 8
The name suits the cat well. It has a nice flow, but points are deducted because Juniper just seems really long for a name. They usually have names that are only 3 syllables long, and Juniper alone makes it three syllables.
Frostfoot- 9
Once again, the name seems logical and suits the cat well. It just seems to be lacking some originality to me...
Embersky- 7
The idea is very nice, but I am just not too sure on the suffix. Sky works better as a prefix in my opinion. Plus, the name makes me think of a sunset, which I guess isn't a bad thing, but it just sounds like a name the cats would give to the sunset if they didn't have the real name for the sunset.
Cedarstripe- 7
It's plain. It's nice for a simple cat like described, but it's still not one I'd really use in a story or roleplay unless it was a filler cat that was never going to be used or mentioned much.
Duskstream.
-He is a larger, dark gray tom with thick, black stripes. He has very dark blue eyes. [Reasoning: Dusk for his pelt, since it is dark gray. Stream for his eyes, and also in part for his love of swimming and fishing.]
Willowstorm.
-A small, swift darker brown she-cat. She has light amber eyes and white feet. [Reasoning: Willow is because her mother was a rogue and gave birth to her on Clan territory, under a willow tree. The rogue dropped off Willowstorm to the Clan, telling the Clanmembers she couldn't take care of her. The Clan accepted the kit since they Clan was smaller than previous years, and Willowstorm grew up there. She gained the name Storm because she has a fiery personality, and is always looked for things to do.]
Dawnwing.
-A light ginger she-cat with green eyes. Very pretty. [Reasoning: Dawn was because she was a very light colored kit, and reminded her mother of the dawn. Wing was because she is a very good hunter, especially a hunter of squirrels and birds that are in trees, and she seems like she is weightless when hunting and jumping around.]
Dawnflight.
[This is the same cat as Dawnwing. I was just curious to see if other people thought Dawnwing or Dawnflight would be better for her.
