The Armada
Forged by the Sea

The Armada cats live in the remains of a shipwreck on the beach where they washed up - the remains of one of the ships of the English Armada. Their founder, a young tom, was on the ship when it crashed and washed up on an island off of England. The ship is large enough and pretty much still intact apart from the large rip in the middle separating the two halves, providing an adequate home for the cats and enough shelter from rains. Overall, the cats of The Armada are alike to a navy, but leans towards pirates.

Rankings
Captain - the leader of The Armada
Lieutenant - basically the Deputy of The Armada, in charge when the Captain isn’t around. Has authority underneath the Captain, and is able to serve out punishments for not obeying commands.
Surgeon - the Medicine Cat of The Armada, supposed to have a connection with the gods, and an extensive knowledge of herbs and healing.

Commanders - limit of 2, oversees Seamen and leads patrols and hunting parties in the forest. Often used as scouts for dangers. They report to the Captain and/or the Lieutenant.
Seamen - the Warriors of the Armada who train Seamen Apprentices to become Seamen.

Seamen Apprentice - apprentices to Seamen, training to be their superiors once they are of age. Will often trail or participate in border patrols and hunting parties as part of their training.
Mothers - she-cats nursing or expecting young.

Berryhop sprang ahead of Whitenose, nose twitching. The two of them headed towards the ThicketClan border, leaping from tree to tree in a manner reminiscent of a squirrel's. "This way!" the smaller tom called, lashing his fluffy tail for balance. His older clanmate bounded after him, claws digging into the huge trees' branches. Berryhop caught wind of a squirrel but ignored it in favour of the border.

Whitenose scrabbled down the tree; arriving at the scent markers just a heartbeat after the tabby. He glanced around, ears pricked for a sign of their bordering Clan. Berryhop surprises him by exclaiming, "I smell ThicketClan!"

With a sigh, Whitenose agrees. "Yes, so do I." He smiles at the look of amazement on Berryhop's face and adds, "However, no more than I'd expect for the border." With a swivel of his ears, Whitenose quickly evaluates that no danger threatens ClimbingClan from this border, at least. The short-haired warrior leads Berryhop along the border, preparing to circle their territory.

{ ------- meanwhile -------- }

Eaglebounce crouches, his slick fur flattened against his form with mud. The two toms blend in perfectly with the twisting branches behind them, thanks to the river mud streaked across their pelts. He digs his claws further into the root they cling to, staring into the murky water below them. A ripple catches his eye, a while off but heading that way. A smile grows on his face as he guesses it's coming for the reeds he had strategically placed the patrol by.

A flash of muddy paws, claws, shimmering scales, and water floods around Robinstripe's paws. A wriggling, flaying and soaking form lands straight on his feet, and the warrior leaps up, pinning the fish with his claws. After a quick bite has been exucated and the small patrol drags their catch back home.

{ ------- meanwhile -------- }

Ravenstar slips out of camp, her eyes darting around. Brushing past Eaglebounce and Robinstripe, she nods a greeting and sees Eaglebounce nudge his blind clanmate. A smile and a glance at the large fish they're carrying, and the leader is off.

A pure black Molly weaves throughout the trees, clambering across each branch to the next. She ssprings downward as a vine catches her eye. Crouching on a thick tree limb, Ravenstar slices the stem carefully and grasped it in her maw. Her paws knead at the wood underneath her, and she realises that she's standing on moss.

Shredding it up takes barely a heartbeat, and Ravenstar decides that should be enough to add to their stores. She bounds back to camp, tail high for balance and arranges the new supplies in their additional piles.

Bloomseed was feeling very pleased. She was very appreciative about the fact that Dustbreeze was going to help. Most cats had forgotten about it but she wanted to avenge Flamebelly in any way she can.

It was the early morning and two decided to have a quick meeting. "Well, I usually go around and ask anyone that was there... Maybe they might've heard something..." she explained.
"Hmm... Sure. I'll do what I can," he nodded.
"Ah, don't worry too much about it! You have Silentpaw to train."
At this time, it was too early for her but she was always rearing to go once she woke up. "I know," he said. "By the way, you should keep an eye on Emberstorm and Bumblestream..."
"Why?" she titled her head.
"Just a hunch," he said with a flick of his tail. Bloomseed wasn't she want he meant but a smile returned on her face. She gave herself a quick lick and got to her paws. "I will be going out for a quick run," she said. Dustbreeze wished her well and she was off.

The sun was high in the sky and Silentpaw was well awake now. She pranced around her mentor in a circle. "Let's go, let's go! I have to catch up to everyone else now!"
"Those apprentices were older than you so it's not like you're late or anything," Dustbreeze rolled his eyes.
"But I wanna go noooow!" she yelled. He let out a sigh and finally agreed. "Yay! I'll race you there!" Before he could say anything, she had ran out of camp. She was faster than the fastest squirrel he ever saw. He was about to follow her when he had a shuffling of paws and a wailing cry.

"Smallsky, what's wrong?" he asked as the she-cat made her way towards him.
"Oh, it's horrible!" she cried. "It's the most terrible thing!"
"And it is...?"
She burst into more tears. "E=Emberstorm came to me and said the kits in the nursery are annoying her. And then... And then she told me Rabbitnose has a deathberry and she told me to use it...!"
Dustbreeze suddenly felt a little guilty. He was the one who told Emberstorm about the deathberry. He gently patted her head with his tail.
"Don't worry about it. I'll go speak with her."
"Thank you..." she sniffed.

Dustbreeze stomped his way over to the nursery. Luckily he didn't need to go inside as Emberstorm was sunning herself.
"Oh, have you come to congratulate me finally?" she purred. He ignored her statement.
"What is this deathberry nonsense that I heard from Smallsky?" he growled. She laughed.
"She said she wanted to help so I told her. I was just teasing her but she actually believed me!" she grinned.
"You shouldn't say jokes like that!" he hissed.
"The joke was worn off now so don't worry about it," she smiled. "Now, move. You're blocking the sun."

He wasn't quite satisfied but left her alone regardless. It wasn't the time for arguments. An impatient apprentice came towards him. "Hey!" Slientpaw snapped. "What's taking you so long!?"
"Sorry, I had to sort something out," he replied.
"Hmph! I want to train NOW!"
"Fine, fine, let's get started."
She squealed and they both made their way to the training area.

i'm officially rebooting my clan, pipistrelleclan. all of my previous cats are deceased but everything else is staying the same.

-Territory-

Fortuneclan lives in a temperate forest with mild summers and cold winters. There are several small pools and lakes inside their territory, full of fish and amphibians. Having these food sources nearby is the reason they are called Fortuneclan. A river goes right throughout their camp. They reach to the other side of the camp with an old Twoleg bridge. The cats make their dens in the tree hollows. Elders' den and The Nursery, however are located in empty dead tree trunks on the ground. The territory is full of dangerous animals. Not only foxes and badgers, but also otters, feral dogs, bears and several venomous snakes.

-Reputation-

Fortuneclan is famed for its innovative spirit and the wits. They tend to not give up easily and always come up with new ways of dealing with a problem. They can seem more of an isolated society with their secrets and strict inside rules, but they are always open for new members. All Fortuneclan cats tend to have a thirst for knowledge.

-Appearances-

Due to the relatively cold weather, the cats tend to have long fur. Short furred clan cats exist, but they are not common and tend to struggle during the winters. The cats also tend to be larger and stronger due to the plentiness of the prey and having to deal with dangerous animals constantly.
