"But, Oakstar!" Ashcloud protested. "I can stay. I'm your deputy."
"Would you like to stay with me?"
"Fine," Ashcloud said. "I'll just go." Oakstar couldn't help but notice his ugly scowl.

[Hazelstar goes on a patrol, looking for cats and possibly prey]
Hazelstar woke, letting the warm sun dry her slightly damp fur. Today was her first day as the leader of Lightclan... was she really a leader? Who was she leading? After all, Hazelstar had only hastily made the decision to start Lightclan the day before, when she had gazed at the glowing beams of sun that broke through the forest canopy, making the forest floor glow with dappled golden light. She shook the thought off her head and decided on recruiting some cats to join Lightclan, or at least get some prey to satisfy her growing hunger.

The pale white she-cat padded through the ever thinning white snow, New-leaf was coming soon, and any time soon she should see more and more prey. She remembered the conversation she had with Starclan when she had requested a deputy a moon earlier. One of the cats had told her to be patient, which the leader was rather good at. A sudden paw-step snapped her out of her train of thought, glancing around again Lilystar had noticed that there was no longer the blanket of snow on the ground, instead replaced with beautiful multicolored flowers dotted over the landscape. Silently telling herself that was sudden she continued her stroll, as she was by the south border, and no clan has been by these borders yet, even after the gathering.
Yet Lilystar still felt like there was something off with the current situation. continuing her border patrol towards the western side of the territory, she heard it again, more paw-steps, having successfully dragging her curiosity she turned back towards flower fields. Pushing it away like she did last time she continued, letting her paws flow to where she should go, after avoiding some of the rising river waters and leaping over some streams of the south-west border. She heard more paw-steps behind her, very quiet paw-steps, showing that the owner was clearly trying to hide, feeling her heartbeat start racing the she-cat was very careful not to move a muscle.
"You get nervous easily don't cha?" A slightly pale brown cat with darker brown spots revealed himself, he had piercing deep forest green eyes and a strong build that almost made Lilystar nervous, the tom chuckled, clearly amused at the she-cat's silence, "Anyway, could you help me out here?, I'm looking for a cat named Lily, or something like that." The tom noticed the she-cat's ears perk a tad at the name of Lily, "That might be me? Something about Starclan" Lilystar turned around, noticing the wild cat nodding carefully, "My name is Lilystar and yours?" Lilystar felt her heart race, was this cat really trustworthy?
"My names Fang, but in the dream they said I might have to change it" Lilystar nodded padding towards the tom, realizing he was much taller than what she had expected, "I guess you will for your name, how about Wildfang, you remind me of wild cats", the tom nodded he felt like it fitted him. "Now that's done, welcome to Cherryclan" Lilystar smiled as she said that, her deputy had finally arrived!
-Some days later-
Wildfang had a problem, he knew his way around the territory, yes, but knowing his way around here, no. Currently he had let his curiosity and confidence get the best of him, and had wandered a bit out of the territory by the south-west border, and of all things that could be here, he ended up slipping into the gradually increasing river waters and scratching his shoulder while trying to get out, Congratulations Wildfang! You've done it again, for the 5th time! Now he was laying down on his non-injured side by the side of the river trying to catch his breath, still lost.
Catching the rushed sound of splashing water, the spotted tom stood up instantly, still rather calm. Wildfang didn't smell another clan by these borders yet, so he was perfectly ready for a cat on cat fight, he was still curious about why the paw-steps seemed so, rushed, compared to normal. Limping towards whatever direction that seemed to be the right way, he heard a yowl in the distance, not aggressive, but still a yowl none the less.g "Fang!?" Flinching at his name from the terrible place of where he originated, he didn't exactly know what to do first, following basic instincts, he sped up slightly, silently cursing in his head for slipping in the river in first place, "Fang!, It's me! Violet!"
The she-cat, seemingly Violet had dashed to the scene immediately, which happened to be Wildfang glaring at shock at his old friend, she giggled again, "Violet?, When did you get here?" Realizing she should probably respond she gave her most honest answer she had without revealing to much, "Claustrophobia, I don't like small spaces." She noticed Wildfang's slight look of confusion before nodding, "I have an idea, follow me"
While walking back, Violet had noticed something slightly of with way Wildfang walked, it seemed more like limping to her, though she didn't want to make it completely obvious she was asking, "Are you ok?" Wildfang nearly flinched "What?" "You seem different..." Wildfang nodded yes, he was different, other than the fact was limping from the event earlier, well at least he was back on Cherryclan territory. "Well, other than the fact I've joined Cherryclan, I realized there are magic ghost cats called Starclan, and my name is now Wildfang, nothing's changed" "No I mean with your stance, are you hurt..?" also by Starclan does he mean those cats that kept telling me to come here? Hesitating, Wildfang answered quieter than usual "No...." Violet shock her head, bouncing off to get some goldenrod she saw earlier, leaving a very confused cat behind. She came back a few seconds later, chewing the goldenrod a bit before placing it on Wildfang's shoulder. The tom cat, still confused, just followed along. Ignoring the fact that his shoulder felt completely fine?
The pair arrived back at the camp, but before entering, Wildfang told Violet he could handle it himself, the leader noticed her deputy enter quite easily from her overhang on the cherry tree in camp, "Welcome back, anything interesting?" she tried to hide her nervousness of sending her deputy out alone. Wildfang nodded, "I found another cat." he signaled to Violet, who entered calmly, Lilystar nodded. "I'm Violet, I know a bit about clans... you don't have a medicine cat right? How about me?" Lilystar thought for a bit at first then smiled "Welcome to Cherryclan, Violet-" "Dawn" The leader stared at the long haired cat, shocked. "My name shall be Violetdawn" "OK."
"Welcome to Cherryclan, Violetdawn"
--
"I can trust you Violetdawn, right?" The mentioned cat nodded, causing the leader to respond with poorly hidden happiness "OK, we'll see you later" Lilystar was very careful as she exited camp to hunt by the north border, and it wasn't long before one of them asked a question, "Hey, Lilystar, what are you so nervous?" The question caused the she-cat to pause, then finally give her reply "I don't trust other cats." Wildfang nodded, recalling what the she-cat leader told him about the gathering, "but you trusted Oakstar didn't you, you two are allies now right?" "I... What she said seemed genuine." The white leader seemed to hesitate on her answer, before quickly prancing over toward the north border, leaving the deputy alone, to rethink what just happen.
That's right, no one can know about me... Lilystar shivered at that internal thought, no... voice, he- it seemed like complete different identity to what she was, Heh, I'll go for now, I can tell you don't want me here..., and just like that, the strange thoughts were gone, but her mind was left strangely empty, "Lilystar!" The shock of the voice of her deputy shot her out of deep thought almost as soon as she was dragged in. "I'm fine, lets go," Lilystar said, with a rather empty tone, though just enough kindness to show she was fine, however it still confused Wildfang greatly, I have a bad feeling about this....
[Wildfang has joined Cherryclan]
[Violetdawn (Birthday cat) has joined Cherryclan as a Medicine cat]
[Lilystar and Wildfang hunt by the north border]
(Birthday cats can be Medicine cats correct?)

Deerstar had called a meeting only being a moon after the last one. "It's time for me to promote Jaykit to Jaypaw," she meowed, smiling at the small tom that they had found three moons ago. He had grown well since he had been found as a kit and was excited to be a warrior and be the best for his new clan. Snowclan never found out what happened to his first clan, but Deerstar knows the soon to be apprentice would be loyal to Snowclan.
Powderbreeze nodded as Deerstar left with the soon to be apprentice to the Moonpool and turned her attention to patrols. "Border patrol today is Ocrafur and Ramclaw," she called out to the wariors. "Hunting party is Frostedleaf, Sedgewhisker, and Softheart!" she called out.
All the warriors nodded and left camp, heading towards their designated areas. "Suprised we haven't seen any new cats seeking shelter yet," Ramclaw murmured. Ocrafur nodded in agreement, her ears flicking as she listened to the sounds around her. "Maybe with this weather something may happen," she meowed, glancing over at the tom, ears pricked as the fell quite listening for intruders or help.
Deerstar padded to Moonpool with Jaykit/paw helping the young tom over obstacles. "StarClan, Snowclan has been blessed these last moons and I've been visiting a lot to upgrade kits to apprentices, and apprentices to warriors," she meowed. "This kit here is ready to become an apprentice as he has reached his sixth moon," she meowed and did the proper words for the ceremony. "I would also like to request a warrior also, as I am running out of mentors to teach the apprentices," she chuckled, closing her eyes.Moonpool: Deerstar to promote Jaykit to Jaypaw

Next Moonpool Visit: NowA lithe, warm brown she-cat sat calmly atop a low-hanging tree branch, gazing down miserably at the deserted camp.
Though she bore the suffix "-star" at the end of her name, signaling her status of clan leader, it meant nothing if she did not even have a clan to lead.
Suddenly, the she-cat sprang into action: she began to slither her way across the damp forest floor, her agile paws barely disturbing the many leaves. Her pale green eyes were set on one, certain location - the very place where she had received the nine lives in the first place:
The Moonpool.
Very soon, the sacred place which belonged to each and every clan entered her line of vision: a stony hollow, with clear water trickling down the walls to feed the shimmering pool itself.
Rapidly, the brown tabby made her way into the area, head held high, and eyes fixated on nothing but the pool of water.
StarClan! She called out boldly to her warrior ancestors. I am Reedstar of CreekClan! I beg that you grant me a cat fit for the role of deputy, or even a warrior! We - or rather, I am the only member of this so-called "clan" at the moment, so please grant me new members to lead with all my might!
After sending out her pleads, Reedstar returned to her forested home, a wishful expression plastered on her face, begging only a single question: Would StarClan listen to her?
[Reedstar goes to the Moonpool and asks StarClan for a deputy/warrior.]

─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────DUCKFOOTHowling winter winds blew with an unmatched ferocity as they blew through the coats of Duckfoot and Minkcloud, both cats struggled to stride through the currents with two newborn kittens held protectively in their jaws. Duckfoot kept glancing at his brown-furred Clanmate just next to him, worried over whether or not she would keep his kin safe during the trek home. A sharp pang of hurt and guilt rammed through his chest as he recalled the disastrous kitting of his late sister earlier that night; Anthiese had delivered two healthy kits, but at the expense of her own life.
She didn't even get to see her kits. He thought in dismay, his eyes watering as more tears threatened to escape again. The tom tried his best to focus on what he was currently trying to do, but his mind was swarmed by wondering just how much pain his littermate had been in - from the stress and pain she suffered as she delivered to not being granted enough mercy to gaze upon her newborns before death took her away from them forever. A shudder ran through Duckfoot, and not from the cold, but from the overwhelming feeling of sadness that overtook his mind at the moment.
He could not erase the lifeless form of Anthiese from his memory, and he was certain the traumatic image would stick to his mind for the rest of his life. He lost his own sister after all, he had watched her die and he had completely and utterly powerless to aid her. It was no wonder the warrior felt so broken, he was so lost in his own grief that he didn't even realize he was already home until Minkcloud pointed it out to him. She gave him one last sympathetic look before entering the camp with him following just behind, both cats quickly making their way to the nursery.
Rosemask was the only queen awake as Wasptail slept with her five kittens crowded around her while Skunknose was out with Ramhorn, Larkclaw, and Ratnose - the four digging out a grave for Anthiese at Duckfoot's request, as he didn't want her body to become some snack for carrion-eaters, she deserved more respect than that. The brown-and-white tabby felt another pang of sorrow as he set the kit down on the moss-covered floor, Rosemask gazing curiously at the newborns. Minkcloud shot a look at Duckfoot to see if he wanted to speak, but she took over for him as he shook his head.
"Rosemask, these two kittens just lost their mother... they'll need someone to take care of them." She mewed quietly, watching as the two kits mewed and squirmed towards the warmth of Rosemask's belly, clearly having some difficulty due to the queen's much larger litter of three blocking their way. Duckfoot frowned in concern as he stared at her, deep in thought over what to do, he hoped this wouldn't seem offensive towards her as she was a mother who lost two kits and now was requested to care for two kits who lost their mother.
The tom felt relived as he saw Rosemask's eyes soften as she guided the two kits closer, her maternal instincts taking over. "Of course I'll take care of them." She mewed reassuringly, smiling in response to the pleased purr that rumbled from Minkcloud's throat. "What are their names?" The gray-and-white queen asked, exchanging a questioning look at both Minkcloud and Duckfoot. The tom sighed, briefly wondering what his sister could have named them before coming up with an answer. "...The pale cream-and-white kit is Lightkit, while their littermate is Morningkit." He answered, hoping Anthiese would like the names he had chosen.
She had always liked to stay up and see the first rays of light come from the morning sky.RAMHORNIf he had to guess the snow-white tom would say it had been about a half-moon ever since Lightkit and Morningkit were brought into the Clan, and in that short amount of time the entire territory had changed from an expansive frost-covered landscape to a blooming green world. It were times like these where the former medicine cat would reminiscence on how relieved he was every time he noticed the herbs growing back on EchoClan territory, knowing he wouldn't have to worry about growing short on herbs until Leaf-fall started to come around again, and he knew the same thoughts extended to both Weaselstorm and Shadeleaf, who spent most their time gathering herbs nowadays.
And if his moons spent as a medicine cat taught him anything, he knew the two were stocking up to hide the guilt of losing a patient again. True, a cat of their rank had to expect death, but it never made it any easier as they knew that it was not only their patient who was counting on them - but the entirety of the Clan. Ramhorn could tell Shadeleaf was taking it harder than her mentor, she seemed far more sensitive then the snappy Weaselstorm from what he had gleaned. "Daaad." A voiced moaned from behind him, bringing Ramhorn out of his thoughts as a young ginger tabby heavily leaned on him before letting out an over exaggerated sigh.
Ramhorn chuckled, licking the top of his eldest son's head while the tabby let out a disgusted snort and mumbling about how he was too old for that now, though his eyes shone with affection as he stared at his father. "What is it, Marigoldkit?" He asked, knowing that whenever Marigoldkit acted this was because he usually wanted some attention. The kit kicked away a pebble at his paws, grumbling under his breath before answering. "Do we really need to wait one more moon just to be apprentices? I wanna get out of camp now!" He complained, staring at the camp's entrance just as Rowanpelt and his hunting patrol were leaving with Mintstar staying behind as she wished them good hunting.
"Afraid so, but it's only one more moon until your time." Ramhorn replied, purring at his son as he wrapped his tail around him comfortingly. "What are you looking forward to the the most about being an apprentice?" He questioned, trying to brighten up Marigoldkit's mood. The tom let out a thoughtful hum before a big grin made it's way on his face. "The Gatherings! I want to see what EchoClan's like." He replied, making Ramhorn's heart flutter with pride. He and Wasptail never neglected to let their kits know of his former home as they wanted them all to feel proud of themselves rather than feel ashamed of their half-Clan blood.
"You'll love them I'm sure, and I can't wait for you to meet Squirrelstar." Ramhorn mewed, unaware of how Mintstar had been listening and flinch at the mention of the EchoClan leader's name. Unbeknownst to him Mintstar had not yet told him of Squirrelstar's death as she was too busy making sure her Clan could get a head-start in hunting and patrolling this season, there was also her mate's niece and nephew to worry about now and she did her best to support him in any way she could have. As he and Marigoldkit continued speaking, Mintstar got up to her paws and padded towards the two toms, mewing to gain their attention.
Marigoldkit gulped as he caught the leader's eye, he liked to put on a brave face around everyone else, but the thought of being so close to a high ranking cat such as she didn't sit well with him. He smiled sheepishly at his father and Mintstar behind scampering off towards the nursery where his littermates and Skunknose's two kits were outside, playing with a single pinecone they batted around with their paws. Ramhorn watched him leave until directing his attention towards the leader, the air suddenly tense around the two of them. He respected Mintstar due to her position as the Clan's leader, but he never really got over how hesitant she had been when he initially requested to join PineClan and her avoidance of him ever since.
The two cats did nothing but stare at each other for a few heartbeats, Mintstar took a deep breath before speaking. "I didn't - I didn't mean to keep this from you for so long. I knew it was important, considering it's about your former Clan..." She mewed, her voice was steady, but Ramhorn could see she was feeling conflict as she stared at him. The tom felt his heart quicken at the mention of EchoClan and he gestured for Mintstar to continue so he could learn about what she about to say considering them. "Squirrelstar lost her final life, I'm sorry." At that one little sentence, Ramhorn felt like the whole world froze, his body felt like ice. "N - No, she couldn't have, she... How?" He croaked out, numbly staring at his paws.
Mintstar almost wished she could do anything to comfort the tom, but she knew just as well as he did that they didn't have the best relationship, so she was quiet as he processed the EchoClan leader's death. In a way she supposed she could understand his pain, while she wasn't as close to Squirrelstar as Ramhorn was, she knew her loss would be felt deeply for a long time. She had been around far longer then she had been, even longer then PineClan and Shadowstar's time in fact. To be reminded that she wouldn't see the light ginger tabby alive and well anymore was a very foreign thought. Ramhorn in the meanwhile was remembering the first time he had met Squirrelstar, a young and scrappy cat who didn't make the best first impression; stealing herbs for his own use and attempting to fight off a patrol when he knew he was outnumbered.
Yet she allowed him to live in EchoClan anyway - an event that completely changed his life for the better. He could never find a perfect way to thank her for that, and with a heavy heart he now realized he would never be able to. The forest now felt a little emptier without her in it and he wondered how his former Clan had been taking her passing, knowing none of them ever knew a time without Squirrelstar leading them. "Do you... know how she died?" He inquired, his voice void of any emotion aside from sadness, sharply turning his head away from Mintstar as she began to reply. "Never mind, I-I think I'm better off not knowing." The word death left a bitter taste in his mouth, it just didn't feel right to associate Squirrelstar with it.
"Thank you for letting me know, I... apologize for my behavior." He mewed, moving to stand up and head towards the nursery to let his mate know of the news before Mintstar stopped him with a tail wave. "Don't ever apologize for that," She mewed, confusing him. Normally she and him would exchange a few words and be done with it, never before had she ever wanted to continue a conversation with him. "it's hard to lose a leader, even more so when it was a Clan's founder. Believe me, I still grieve for Shadowstar every day." She mewed solemnly, sighing at the thought of the old PineClan leader. "You have my permission to visit EchoClan territory, I'm sure you'd want to... pay your respects."
Ramhorn never would have expected that kind of response from Mintstar, and had it not been for his current state, he would've felt beyond excited to learn that she was beginning to trust him more. A shadow of a smile was on his face as he bowed his head in respect, "You have no idea how much that means to me, thank you Mintstar." The molly nodded in response before turning away to assemble some cats for a daylight patrol, her gaze stayed on Ramhorn as the tom entered the nursery. She wished him a safe journey to EchoClan, and that the pain of losing Squirrelstar would fade instead of lingering in the back of his mind like how Shadowstar's still lingered in hers.─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

the cats of willowclan are normally fairly dark or medium toned, with an occasional lighter cat thrown into the mix. these cats are slim, ranging from small sizes to large sizes, but always skim. theyre strong cats, always resdy for battle among other cats. theyre trusting cats among one another.
the cats are dedicated to both their clan and star clan. they like to swim and play in the water, and climb the large willow trees that fill their clan.
but they are also mischievous and sneaky, they dont trust other clans unless they prove that they can be trusted by one way or another.
some of the best traits they have are they are highley loyal and honest. these cats almost never lie, except in certain times. these cats are loving, and always put the other cats before themselves, and would even risk their lives for loved ones.
the clan is fairly large, with llots of room to roam around in. its hidden by fallen willowtrees that make up the dens and shelters. the leaders den is slightly uphill, with a large uprooted leaning willowtree, and a dead, fallen willowtree to provide shelter in the dug-out trunk thats been weakened over many years of rain, and the strong, healthy willowtree providing shade and support to the fallen one. the deputy sleeps in a hollowed out willowtree, close to the leaders. the warriors den is half underground, dug up under two side by side fallen/leaning willowtrees. the apprentices den is fairly open, with crumpled leaves from past seasons filling the bottom. two large willowtrees grow up behind it, with large roots providing shelter. theres also a tree that has split, and is now going across the roots of the other willow trees as a protection from snow, water, and others. the medicine cats den is dug up under a willowtree, with protection of any snow and water, to protect the herbs. the elders den is probably the warmest and most sheltered, as its also dug up under a willowtree, with a fallen willowtree almost hiding the entrance. the highrock is build up near the entrance of the clan, with the freshkill pile being in the middle of the entire clan.

Fernclan is a plant-filled clan with marshy territory. This clan gets much rain and prefers that over other clans with lots of sun. The cats have adapted to this by having short fur so it dries easier and slightly webbed paws in case they need to swim. The cats there are kind-hearted and rarely attack. They are very welcoming of kitty pets and loners, which can be good or bad. The food there is often plentiful, and if there is food in leafbare, it's often plump despite the cold, from the fact that there is plenty of acorns and seeds and such for them to collect during leafbare. Fernclan's cats are often mousy brown and or calico, with large ears and slim builds.

● welcome to sparrowclan! sparrowclan lives in one of the many rich and lively forests that dot this planet earth. within the forest, is a place filled with life. trees everywhere with many colorful wild flowers to run into for fun. many types of animals decide to live in this forest with the sparrowclan cats, wither it be prey for the cats to eat or a dangerous threat that can turn their clan into a graveyard of the fallen. in north of the forest, lies a huge clean river where the cats of the clan can go for either a drink, hunt for fish or swim. to the south lies an plain, open field with nothing but growing grass. you can be easily spotted in that field since the grass there is very short. so most of the cats tend to stay away from the field, not wanting to risk a two-leg or a wild dog being there. to the east, lies nothing but more of the forest and same with the west. these two borders is where the cats mainly do their hunting and/or training.
now onto the cats of the clan. sparrowclan cats are nothing but friendly creatures, just wanting peace for their clan. sparrowclan cats are also swift cats, easily escaping from dangerous predators within mere moments. they also think ahead of their choices before making them, making them pretty clever cats. but of course they are not the prefect clan. their biggest weakness has to be fighting. the sparrowclan cats are not the strongest fighters in the world. in fact, they are pretty weak when you compare them to any other clan. not all cats of sparrowclan are like this, of course. some of them prefer war over peace and some of them don't think ahead of their choices before taking them. sparrowclan cats are strict on the warrior code. if a cat dares to break one of the many rules of the code, they are to be punished depending on the code they broke.
the clan size itself is around semi-small to medium. there are around 30-50 cats at the most. their dens are made out of the brambles they have found while their soft nest are made out of the colorful petals that have left the flowers. ●
