FeatherWhisker, unable to sleep due to the fact his oldest patient had died, padded out of the medicine den, and into the forest. It always seemed to calm his nerves, and he always felt closer to StarClan from out in the forest. He then perked his ears, and whipped around, hissing "It was you!" He snarled "Ahh, you've cracked the code, you sly old cat." The murderer smirks, but before FeatherWhisker was able to yowl a warning, the murderer lunged, sinking their teeth into the poor medicine cats throat. The Medicine cat fell tot he ground, limp. The murderer laughed silently, going to the stream and washing off their paws and muzzle, and padding back to camp.

She called. She padded outside camp for a bit and yowled in terror," Help!"" There she saw her medicine cat dead on the floor.

Gingerstorm came back from her hunt, successful but uneasy. Her hunch was correct as she spotted the medicine cat in his den, dead. "Why?" she sobbed. She put her finch down and again, yowled "MURDER IN THE CLAN!" She hoped that perhaps the leader or his deputy would come to see.

PetalPaw here's the medicine cat's yowl and runs out of her den and into the forest, what seems to be the source of the yowl. She suddenly stops, and cant'' believe her eyes! "No!" she cried, "FeatherWhisker! What is the clan going to do without you? The murderer has gone too far this time. You must be avenged" How can I take care of medicine cat duties? I'm only a apprentice! I've only been training for slightly more than a moon!

Graystar was unable to sleep, so she was drifting in between a tense sleep and being awake. Just as she was falling back asleep, a yowl woke her up. She raced outside to find Mousepaw, Petalpaw, and Gingerstorm standing over Featherwhisker's body. She gasped. "I knew it! My loyal deputy wasn't the killer..."

Silverstripe walked out of the den and froze. "Not again." She muttered. She glanced at Petalpaw, thinking of the pain and anguish she must be thinking about the death of her mentor. "Who could have done this?" She asked.
