"OH!! It was FLAMEFEATHER!! I KNEW IT!! FLAMEFEATHER, YOUR THE MURDERER!" Nightgaze yowled in anger and turned to Flamefeather "how could you murder our good ol' clan mates like that?"

Sarcasticlynx hung his head in mourning for his longtime friend, nudging his nose up against the cold lime green pelt of Insaneeldermoose, whose wings were still neatly tucked behind him, as if he were only sleeping.

"Oh, old friend," said Sarcasticlynx, a tear trickling down his face. "I am sorry for ever doubting you. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me." He turned around, his eyes mad with grief and wet with tears. "Which one of you did this!?" he hissed. At Nightgaze's proclamation, he nodded his head slowly, his eyes narrowing at Flamefeather.

"What it you, Flamefeather? Was it you who murdered my best friend since kithood?"

Flamefeather looked around a little nervously, not as grumpy as before. "Insaneeldermoose, dead? Knew it couldn't have been him. I think it may be Swiftclaw." She jumped when Nightgaze yowled at her. "Me? I have no grudge against the clan, I would never do such a thing!"

Flamefeather was chased from the clan, as the remaining other three cats all believed her to be the murderer. However, they were mistaken. Nightgaze was killed next, quietly and quickly, leaving only two cats left. Knowing they had to act fast, the murderer struck Swiftclaw down, leaving a pair of green eyes shining in triumph in the dark.

Sarcasticlynx had been the murderer the entire time!
