the warren thrives in a valley full of bright flowers. a fallen tree serves as den, and the biggest root is used by the leader to make announcements. close to the forest, there is a small river, where bunnies can get water, moss, and other important herbs. since that the flowers do help them hide and be protected, they take good care of them, refusing to eat petals and the roots. the healer and its apprentice will make sure every flower is healthy, as well as the plants close to the river, so that they can use them when needed.

the predators they fear are larger dogs, foxes, badgers, wolves and bears. they look for dandelion, clovers (⟶ 1 serving), wild lettuce, turnips (⟶ 2 servings), blackberries, raspberries, wild strawberries (⟶ 3 servings) and fallen apples (⟶ 4 servings)

the warren believes n the important of boundary and family: they are small-sized and therefore they rely on each other's help to survive. the founder always takes their time to check on the members and believes that the flowers can help them communicate with the spirits. when in need to contact the spirits, they will reach the farthest place in the territory, surrounded by flowers, in complete silence, to reach them. so far, they believe that there is a spirit for every kind of flower: lavender, daisies, forget-me-not, even the smallest ones. and they pay respect to all of them. usually, the second-in-command doesn't take place of the leader when they retire or die: there is the heir, who can choose a new second-in-command upon becoming the new leader. also, there are the head gatherer and the head scout, that plan the activity together with the leader.

the spirits chosen eostre as their guardian, a caretaker of the flowers they represented. the snow white rabbit couldn't be more proud about that, and he stayed among the colorful flowers, standing out with his candid pelt. while checking the area, he found a fallen tree that could work as nest after the due work needed to make it comfortable for himself and for those that would be willing to join the warren. he was satisfied to hear the sound of water, and after following it, he found out a lovely river with plenty of herbs that would certainly be useful. all in all, it looked like heaven. all that was needed to do now, was to look for new rabbits.

The plan was already working, the gods and goddesses already on Zenovia's side. A scout, his fur as dark as the night sky in which he came under, arrived as Zenovia was watching the sky, trying to look for omens of good or bad luck. While she saw nothing there, when she closed her eyes she could tell that the breeze meant no harm would come to her or anyone under her protection. Not now. It had been slow going, trying to build her own warren from the bottom up, but something she was always going to be proud of.

Demetri, as the new one was called, settled in immediately. He was not quiet at all, and not afraid to speak his mind, which Zenovia liked, but the two really didn't see eye to eye on the leadership style Zenovia had chosen. He was more into a strict regime, where as Zenovia wanted to let the rabbits go with the flow. He felt is was a bit too unstructured, but as Zenovia explained to him, structure could only come if they worked together to find more members.

And that they would do. It was the newcomer that Zenovia had sent out on a solo patrol, hoping for him to use his charisma to bring back another rabbit so that the warren could move forward. She, instead, went gathering just as dawn had been rising, hoping to catch some sounds and signs of Gaea. The scents and sights did not disappoint, and it was with a happy heart that the rabbit continued to watch as the warren came to life before her eyes.

rabbits of ro'aok

the rabbits of ro'aok are a tight-knit group of zealous leporidae. they mainly worship three gods. ro'aok, the taker.
ro'aok is represented by a large cat-figure adorned in various types of ivories, and is responsible for all life and death
within the world. then there is yuwaw, the cultivator. yuwaw oversees the production of food for the world, and is
represented by a very large hooved animal. finally, there is lihr, the giver. lihr oversees the gifts of light and water,
and is often seen as a large, brightly colored bird.

the rabbits of ro'aok are a travelling group, as they follow the waters of lihr, a river that floods and dries with the
changing of the seasons. along this river, they often encounter dangerous creatures, which they call the descendants
of aoerhi. aoerhi's descendants all have the same general trait - they bask in the sun, their eyes glazed over and
their mouths open wide. some flick their tongues to scent the air, and some call on their bellies at the same speed
a rabbit can hop!

it's not all bad in the great expanse along the waters, though. the rabbits have some allies. for example, the small-
ear, a striped creature that eats the skinny descendants of aoerhi. the small-ear generally keeps to itself so long as
the rabbits of ro'aok pay their toll every season for passing its den (it's usually one sweet-comb.) the rabbits also
tend to find disciples of ro'aok - those who seem to be releasing other rabbits near the waters of lihr. the rabbits
don't often see these disciples, but they are sure that they are friendly.

the rundown: these rabbits live in africa, around a reserve that releases foreign rabbits into the wild in an
effort to save the egyptian breeds. sometimes, a stray hare will come across the rabbits, but since they can not
breed with the other species, they are often relegated to medical or filler roles, if they join at all.

some possible threats:
wildebeests, lions, zebras, honey badgers (if they get too close without honeycombs), crocodiles (which they find
while traversing the nile), snakes (which are everywhere), poachers, jackals, cheetahs, and caracals

it's also really hot during the day and it can get pretty chilly at night. along with the wet and dry seasons, these
rabbits have to always be wary about where they're going next.

some possible allies:
mongooses that are released into this area to cull the snake populations so the rabbits can breed, the honey badger
that likes to share a honey comb when the rabbits come around, small birds, and meerkats.

they eat:
wild malva (equivalent to a dandelion), brambles, confetti bush leaves (equivalent to wild lettuce), num-nums
(equivalent to any berry), aloe (equivalent to clover due to low nutritional value), lotus flowers (another
equivalent to wild lettuce because they can eat the roots and leaves and flowers), egyptian clover, discovered
tomatoes (equivalent to fallen apples, as they can get into private farms and take some of those nicely
growing fruits.

a few hours after he prayed the spirits to send him a trusted rabbit, a pretty white rabbit with light brown spots reached the edge of the territory, slightly tilting her head when she saw eostre. "are you the leader of the flower valley? i dreamt about this place, but i still can't believe it." she said, looking relieved when eostre welcomed her, introducing himself. the head scout was eager to know the territory, and was amazed by the beauty of the valley, dipping her head respectfully when eostre described the spirits that thrived there. "i am honored to have been choosen as head scout. i will show you my worth." she announced her ears straight up.

the patrol proved to be successful: another rabbit found the valley and asked to join the warren, welcomed warmly by the other two members. aspen was the youngest, but was glad to become a gatherer to look over for food, allowing eostre to walk with arya to check the borders. since that the valley was a lush place, it was not a dream only for the rabbits, but for plenty of other animals, a few of which would be dangerous for them.
