ixxx▬hestia's thin limbs lashed at the water as she curved around the sharp rocks that made up the walls to the cave of jagged rocks. she was in almost-complete darkness now, though her pupils expanded sharply, allowing her to take in the sights of the soft glow under the water and the stalactites that seemed to reach down and beckon to her. the tall molly heaved herself onto the flat, oddly warm stone that perched at the center of the cave, her ears curled flat against her head as she closed her eyes. a drip from the stalactites above landed at the crest of her forehead, the coolness sliding down her head and dripping from her nose, and then — then she was with the stars.
