"hey there little fella!" vannessa called to the whismur as she ran up to it. she gently hugged him when he approached. "would you like to be called whizzy?" she asked. he nodded his head in reply. vannessa picked up whizzy and headed towards the training center. "whizzy, do you want to train with me?" she asked putting him down on the ground. whizzy jumped up and down excitedly in agreement and started to run around in circles around vannessa. "well, i guess thats a yes then. lets go!" she replied picking him up once again heading towards the same direction until they made it to the training center.

Daisy is a 13 year old girl, with pale skin and strawberry-blonde hair. Her eyes are a chocolate brown, that are hidden behind glasses that are thick plastic and colored light brown on the edges. She tries to keep her hair short, but her bangs go fast and usually end up falling in her eyes, so she wears a headband with yellow bow on it. She originally came from Poni Island of the Alola reign. She is a little shy when talking to new people, but open with her friends and will chat with them all day if she could.

Melissa awoke, stretching and yawning before greeting the Gligar at the foot of her bed. "Ready to start the journey, Camile?" She asked cheerfully, smiling at the enthusiastic responce she got. Despite having gotten her Pokedex and having been meant to set out the day before, Melissa had stayed home for just a day longer. Outside it was still only dawn, but some of the pokemon in her home were wide awake. She could hear scrapping at the door to her room, opening it to allow the Lillipup in before she got dressed and made sure she had everything packed up in her backpack. The small dog pokemon circled her, seeking effection meanwhile and receiving pets. A Purrloin and a Shinx also joined in the room. The morning went by pretty much like usual and by the time she was leaving, all the pokemon in her home had gathered for the goodbyes. "Bye, guys. I'll miss you." She had already given individual farewells, but this one was given as she and Camile left the house. Her journey was finally beginning.
"So, what do you say? Should we search for some new friends or get you a couple levels?" Sure, she knew the Gligar had no way of truly responding to the question, but she got the hint, going out with Camile to train and get her powered up, though she wouldn't have minded finding a friend to add to the team either.

Kiri lay by the pool, dipping her hand in the water. Araara, her Alomomola, swam around peacefully, occasionally brushing against his owners hand. 'Mmm...' Kiri hummed, thinking. 'Maybe we should train you up a little bit, Araara. What do you think?' The fish pokemon called happily, seeming to agree.

Brian hefted fishbowl in which his skrelp swam circles, bonking her nose against the glass adorably at the passing scenery, higher against his hip so it rested more comfortably. The older man had no trouble carrying the burden for he was strong despite his white hair, and besides Imoogi seemed to prefer being out in the open where she could see the world pass by. Being cooped up in a breeder's box for months couldn't have been particularly exciting and Brian wasn't keen on forcing her into a pokeball's cyberspace so soon after she had been liberated. And this way, he didn't look entirely crazy as he narrated the journey! "And this, my little Imoogi, is the ocean. I've spent many a day down by the water's edge- storm or shine made no difference to me! I was a master fisherman back in my day, and master fishermen are never daunted by life's storms. There's an old saying you know? Miss a stormy day and it's the one that got away. Oh the adventures I had on those blustery days." The skrelp didn't seem to mind his rambles, just chirped affectionately at her trainer and booped the glass again. Brian let out a deep belly laugh. "Oh don't you worry Imoogi. You'll get your adventures too. My little girl's going to grow up into a big dragon isn't she?" Imoogi chirped again, looking absolutely thrilled at the prospect of growing up big and strong, though with her species's signature scowl permanently etched into her skin it was a bit tricky to tell.

The man's sandaled feet finally felt sand beneath them and he descended the rickety staircase that led down the bluff to the shore in an all-too-eager precarious fashion. Thankfully though, he and his cargo made it back to flat ground with no injuries. Brian kicked off his shoes somewhere in the sand and made his way to the water's edge. He waded in a little ways, just past the breaks where the lazy swells tickled his knees and dampened the cuffs of his khaki shorts. "Come on then Imoogi, let's give you your first dip in the sea shall we?" Down went the bowl and out tipped the skrelp who at first recoiled at the sudden cold water and then embraced it. "Skrelllp!" She cried, winding her way around Brian's ankles, who chuckled heartily as her feelers tickled his toes. "Glad to have you aboard kiddo."

A wild Lotad appeared! A quick scan of your pokedex reveals all of its information. It is a male with the ability Rain Dish, and is Sassy. It is level 3, and knows how to use Astonish and Growl. As soon as you began training with Imoogi, it raised its head from the waters, perturbed that you disturbed its watery home! It looks quite upset. You can battle it, throw a pokeball, or run away.

Elle C. Wilmson is a tall and lanky girl, with pale skin, dark brown hair and a dusting of freckles all over her. Easily startled and quite unnerved by most pokemon, she is fairly spineless but cautious. Originally hailing from the mountains of Sinnoh, Elle moved to One Island where she lives. Dressed in her classic outfit of pale blue jeans, white ruffled shirt, a wide and tattered sunhat and a pair of glaringly blue wellingtons, Elle doesn't take that long to get ready. Preferring the normal type due to how much less creepy and dangerous they are compared to types such as ghost types, which Elle abhors, but then again, she abhors most types. In fact, her family had to trick her into going on a journey as tradition declares. For some pokemon she cries at the sight of them, such as phantump and Yamask as they're literally the souls of the dead, for others she at least tolerates them, such as minncino and patrat and others she can't even think about them without getting the willies, such as hydreigon and scolipede.


At the age of 20, Elle is going on a poke-journey. Something she never wanted to do.

You have received Eevee from the professor! It is a male with the ability Run Away, and is Jolly. It is level 5, and knows how to use Covet, Tackle, Growl, and Tail Whip. The professor got it from an IV breeder who discarded it on the streets because it had the wrong stats. A concerned neighbor phoned the professor, who drove right over to pick it up. It always seems to have a smile on its face. Please take good care of Eevee!

octavia giggled as mistletoe ran circles around her, bleating happily. "my, you're a very mischievous little thing, aren't you?" if octavia had to guess, it was so happy because octavia had said as long as he was good, he wouldn't go into a pokeball. hopefully she could make sure he didn't get into trouble again. "do you like your nickname, mistletoe?"
she asked him, and he head-butted her gently in response. she laughed and gave him a quick pat on his neck, and then grabbed her bag and swung it over her shoulder. "i hope you're ready to go! time to train." she pulled her hair into a high ponytail and put her trainers cap on, her grin a mile wide.

Minutes after Melissa exited her home, she noticed the small creature curled up beneath the roots of a tree, sleeping peacefully. Camile had flown over to it as soon as she spotted it, and began to poke it until it woke. Poor Ralts! You can battle it, throw a pokeball, or run away.

octavia clapped in delight, her eyes sparkling. "i'm so proud of you! leveling up and a new move?! oh man, we're killin' it!" she pulled mistletoe into a hug, and he bleated happily before chewing on the ends of her ponytail. she giggled and gently pulled her hair away from his mouth. "hey, don't get a big head now." she cautioned jokingly, waggling her pointer finger at him. "you gotta remember that we're a team. just you and me, at least for now. who knows? maybe we'll find you a friend or something. would you like that?" mistletoe seemed kinda unsure of that, so she let the topic drop. she would like more than one pokemon though, at least at some point. mistletoe would always have a special place in her heart because he was her first pokémon ever, but she had a lot more room in her heart for others too! she stood up at that thought, brushing the dirt off her jeans. "i just got these too." she grumbled with a small smile, pretending to be upset. mistletoe didn't seem fooled though, and simply head butted her leg. she rolled her eyes and said, "you win! let's go train again. and hey, i really am proud of you."

"Lotad!" The sudden appearance of the wild lotad startled Brian off balance, sending him splashing into the shallow sea. Perhaps the old man didn't have quite the sea-legs that he claimed. The fall and subsequent splash of her trainer sent Imoogi spinning in circles. "Skrelllp?" she cried, wriggling through the waves until she was side by side with the downed man. "It's okay," Brian grunted, It takes more than one suprise to keep this old man down, don't you worry Imoogi." But Imoogi clearly wasn't worried- in fact she seemed quite glad that her trainer was now in the ocean with her. "Skrellllp!" "That's right Imoogi!" Brain struggled to his feet, his clothes now completely soaked but his spirit undampened. In fact, when the lotad grumbled and splashed around in the water to try and return the attention to himself the man laughed aloud. "Lotad lotad lotad!" The pokemon protested- still splashing and still angry as a wet beedrill. You certainly seem to have a tale to tell little guy! But let's see if we can't catch you first hmm?"

Relieved to get a completely non-dangerous pokemon, Elle watched the newly named Rueben skipping around her feet. He was so full of glee, so full of joyous celebration that Elle could not help but smile. Perhaps as the journey progress, Elle would learn that there was nothing to fear, perhaps she'd eventually laugh in the face of even the most fearsome of pokemon. At least that was what she decided until she tripped over her starter. Landing in a crumpled heap on the dusty ground, Rueben squealing with laughter, Elle realized that there was no way that she would ever be wholly fearless.

Striding quietly down the pathway, watching Rueben with a close eye as he played among the fallen leaves, Elle found herself humming slightly, for no true reason at all. She was bored and this was the ideal way for Elle to calm herself down. At least until Rueben started pulling at her boots. ''Gerroff, Gerroff!'' squeaked Elle, watching the eevee nervously. ''I'll train you, go away!''

Upon noticing that Camile had left her side to poke at something, Melissa followed and looked down at the Ralts, partially crouching. She took out the Pokedex she had put into one of the side pockets of her backpack, checking the pokemon's information. Skimming through it, she backed away a step, choosing to battle it even if it was practically incapable of winning due to the lack of offensive moves. "Camile, use Poison Sting." She commanded, tacking on a 'please' a mere couple seconds after.
