Shadow hast been summouned to the
Winter Creek to recieve his nine lives.

He also requests a cat who turns out to be
his Right Hand Stormstrike

The shadows of the holy altar
draped and cloaked the form of the long furred silver tabby tom as he stood
at the altars entrance. He had been waiting for a relatively long time, but he knew
that Astralia would come when she felt ready. He felt that it was right to
wait in the altar, in quiet contemplation of his own soul.

Suddenly, a silver shine shone around him as starlight hit the altar. He
jumped back in surprise. Soon the stars swirled together like mist, and
there stood a single cat.

The goddess took the form of a stunning young Egyptian Mau. She had
a coat the color of moonlight, and her coat was spotted with black
rosettes, that resembled the craters on the moon. She had dark
blue eyes. Shadow dropped his eyes immediately, daring not to
stare the goddess in the face.

She laughed gently, with the sweetness of a kit's lullaby,
"It's okay. Look me in the face, High Lord."

Shadow lifted his head and stared into her dark blue orbs. Astralia
was the youngest of the goddesses from what mythological stories told him.
She was the eternal consort and counterpart to Thenrus,
the Lord and God of Night. "Astralia, I don't understand.
Why am I here?"

"You were summoned, Shadow, because the gods
say that you are the future High Lord
of the Shadow Court. Your path to be a
lord is not easy. You will endure countless hardships and harvests,
experience love and loss, joy and grief. But through it all,
are you willing to work with the spirits to create your Court?"

Shadow nodded earnestly, "I am."

"Then Heavens hear my decree. I hereby christen thee
Shadowlight, High Lord of the Shadow Court. Your people shall call you
the Lord of Darkness and Night Triumphant. You have been given the
lives to walk among us. You are a child of spirits, and High Lord
of the Shadow Court."

wolfpaw's grey fur blended nicely into the shadow he hid under. a squirrel darted from the undergrowth of a bush and leapt to scale the trunk of a looming oak tree. the rhythmic whap of his tail against the earth fell deaf to his ears, but not pebblepaw's.

“wolfpaw, stop that!” her mew was hushed as she snaked in beside her brother. “you'll scare the canaries all the way to thistleclan.” she bumped his shoulder, following his gaze. they both stared longingly into the canopy trees of their territory. pebblepaw wasn’t the best climber, but she knew that wolfpaw would save her a cardinal. “here, there’s a nest just up there.” she instructed him encouragingly before going off to find her own prey.

wolfpaw rolled his eyes as he watched his sister disappear into the deep woods. pebblepaw was always motherly towards him, although he wasn't sure why. the thought escaped his mind as the call of a bird rang between his ears. he searched through the gaps in the leaves for the source as he approached the tree. his tail swayed rhythmically as he began to climb the tree, ears perked to find the source of the call. desperately, the bird continued to cry.

wolfpaw hesitated as he pursed his lips and blew warm air between his teeth. the tom’s whistle alerted the bird, causing it to poke its head from between the tree’s leaves. a smirk tugged at wolfpaw’s lips as he lured the bird closer with a sweet hum. as the bird fluttered down to the open forest floor, the apprentice made his descent. he sunk his teeth into its back, efficiently snapping its neck.

a content purr escaped him as he began to dig a shallow grave for his catch. his whistles only ever worked half of the time, but he was glad this bird was desperate enough to leave its nest. he didnt blame the bird, though; he wouldnt mind a partner out here in the snow either. for a moment, his ears peaked and lips parted in search for the scent of his sister.

[ mouseclan ] a newfound clan with a very isolationist mindset. these cats are meek and timid, and prefer to keep amongst themselves rather than go out and provoke conflict. they are a sweet, caring clan with big hearts and little to no judgement. cats of mouseclan tend to rarely have a mean bone in their bodies, as it’s just unheard of for these shy little cats to be anything but generous and reserved. these cats also tend to attempt to avoid conflict as much as possible.

[ territorial details ] these cats typically are a nomadic clan, oftentimes hopping from place to place rather than situating themselves in just one spot. they do, however, prefer to take up temporary residences in abandoned twoleg nests or heavily forested areas.

[ types of cats ] usually smaller cats tend to flock to mouseclan, as there’s safety in numbers. larger cats can appear, however; they’re just a bit more uncommon.

It was night. Lightning flashed through a stormy sky as the young molly trekked through the harsh wind, pausing every so often to catch her breath. Her sleek blue coat was drenched, and she, shaking like a leaf, sighed heavily with relief as she saw a small den up ahead. Hopefully whoever lives there would understand if she just spent the night — maybe they could help her find her twolegs once the storm had passed? It was worth a shot; after all, Frosty was only a mere kittypet. There was no way she’d be able to survive all by herself in the dark, cold wilderness!

As Frosty hurried towards the den, the harsh winds and roaring thunder drowned out the low yowls coming from the den, and the scent of rain covered the metallic stench reeking throughout the area.

Frosty dragged herself into the den, shaking herself off with a small trill. “Golly! Sorry about coming in unannounced - it’s raining mice and frogs out there!”
She turned a warm smile towards the figure lying in the back of the den, pausing when the severity of the situation hit her like a freight train. The color drained from her face as the older tom, battered and bloodied, glanced up at her weakly. “Pl-please... Y-you can’t...”

The she-cat shrieked — a high-pitched, shrill noise that caused the tom to wince. “Oi, can you keep it down? They’ll hear you...”
“I’m so sorry! What happened?!” So much blood, it’s EVERYWHERE— “Are you okay? Wait, don’t answer that! Oh golly goodness, who did this to you?!”
The tom sighed heavily, his voice strained. “You... You have to help...”

Frosty shivered under his gaze. “How can I help? I’m just a kittypet! I don’t know a thing about healing! Are there any Clan cats around? I hear they’re pretty good with stuff like that...”
He shook his head. “No, there aren’t many left. They abandoned me after the War.”
“What?”

And so the dying tom explained: his name was Palestar, and he was the leader of the once mighty MouseClan. After losing a war waged on for many moons against a rival gang of loners and rogues, his clan turned on him; reduced him down to nothing and humiliated him before leaving him to die. Frosty felt a twinge of guilt in her chest. “Is there anything I can do to help? I could try and find someone to heal you—”

“Don’t bother,” Palestar rasped. “I’m on my last life — StarClan’s calling my name now.” He paused briefly before staring up at the young molly with intense eyes. “Avenge me.”
Frosty panicked. “Wh-what?! I’m sorry, I’m no good at fighting!”
“Not like that,” he quickly interrupted. “Restore MouseClan to its former glory. What is your name?”
She shuddered. “F-Frosty...”

“Well then,” Palestar chuckled weakly. “I hereby dub you Froststar. Please — for my sake and theirs — watch over MouseClan. Don’t make the same mistakes I did.” He glanced up at her once more, grief-stricken. “Please, Froststar. You’re our only hope.”
Frosty paused. She wasn’t fit to be a leader! She wanted to tell Palestar no thanks — that she couldn’t even care for herself on her own, much less an entire Clan!
But his eyes. They were full of a dying hope; one she couldn’t bear to kill.

“I’ll do it.”
Palestar wheezed and hacked softly, smiling up at her one last time. “Thank you, Froststar... The stars and I will guide you. Look to us when you need assistance.”
And with one final breath, he was gone.

ClimbingClan's territory is in a forest by a tropical river. The river is surrounded by dense mangrove trees, which lead into the huge trees surrounding the Camp. There's one mangrove tunnel where the leaders and medicine cats go to speak with their ancestors, and it has a bunch of glowing fireflies hanging from the roof. The leader has to go to sleep underneath them to speak with the ancestors. Their camp is surrounded by huge trees and thick mangrove forest. The dens are mostly made up of mangrove branches, trained into den shapes and padded with moss. The leader's high rock is known as the 'Mangrove Stone' and is a huge boulder. The cats navigate mainly by climbing which gives them their name.

ClimbingClan is a pretty tolerant Clan, keeping to themselves and not really bothering with the surrounding Clans. They find most of the other Clan's territories cold and bland, although they've been told their forest is hot and stuffy. ClimbingClan consists of mainly smaller, thinner cats, well-built for climbing and leaping. They are usually short-hair, so they don't get overheated in the hot, tropical climate. The colours vary a lot, from flame red to midnight black.
