the four of you head out, and emolga
is pretty excited to be on an adventure.

it was still in a damp mood from its recent
abandonment by its previous trainer, but
it wanted to find someone worth fighting
for.

it wanted to be the best trained pokemon
and win the gym leagues, just to spite its
previous owner because that's all his owner
cared about.

your shoulder.

Scorbunny's trainer smiled as she watched him and the Vulpix playing. Not knowing what lied ahead, as fun as it was promised, Bonni decided having another addition to the team would be good. She tossed a Pokeball absentmindedly up into the air and caught it on the way down.

"What do you say, Vulpix? Would you like to become a permanent member of our team?" she asked, showing her the pokeball. "You can stay out while we explore of course!" Bonni added, nodding to Higgs happily bouncing on the trail beside them.

Bonnibel will add the Vulpix to her party!

the wild vulpix nodded, and the pokeball
absorbed it.

it didn't take long before the click was
heard.

alolan vulpix has been added to the party
at level 11! and its stats have been added
to your pokedex.

but wait...it looks like it has something for
you in its mouth, perhaps it had found it
while playing with scorbunny...

Thankfully it didn't feel like much of a walk, so they moved along on the way to locate and go into the pokemon center, passing the lab as they did so. The two pokemon seemed to get on okay despite jangmo-o not being able to get up and prance around, but that would change soon enough.

"haha, don't worry, you'll be able to run around soon too"

He made sure Inferno still stuck close though, man that bun had a lot of spare energy, and considering he intended to start this adventure with it, that was a good thing! He lifted his head as they came upon the pokemon center.

the jangmo-o was relieved upon
arriving the pokecenter, and it
called out excitedly, "Jang-Jang-mo!"
its tail wagging before it shrieked in
pain.

it whimpered.

it seemed to hide its head in your sweater,
whimpering as you made your way inside,
but quickly, nurse joy was able to take it
to aid.

scorbunny hopped behind them to check
up on its friend.

then, they both returned feeling great!
they each had two oran berries in their
hands.

"I gave them extra oran berries...injures
like that are unpredictable, it's good to
carry berries on the way!" she smiled.

before jumping out to attack your

but the pokemon was quick to react,
and even though new, it was skilled.

"Toxel!" the pokemon growled back,
before using blech, and instantly
knocking the wild pokemon out.

huh..toxel levelled up to level 7...

that was a quick battle...

Lizzie jumped as Waterfall came out of her Pokeball. "Well, if she knows..." She said, slowly getting onto her back. "C'mon Splash." She tapped Waterfall's hard shell. "Squirr!" Splash chirped, leaping up onto the back. "Alright Waterfall, a gentle ride, I don't want to hurt you." She said.

Once they reached the town Splash seemed to have curled up to sleep. "Oh, Splash..." She said. She was once again surprised by her water-type pokemon when Waterfall began to climb onto land. "Waterfall..." She said, shaking her head before getting off at the pokemon center's door. "Waterfall, return." She said, holding out her pokeball before turning to Splash, patting his little head. "Now, you don't need to be healed, so be quiet." She went inside, approaching the Nurse Joy of the first town.

"A battle, huh?" Eva said, glancing down at her new partner by her side. "You up for it, Neptune?"

"Froak!" her partner chirped, hopping out onto the outdoor arena. A determined look crossed his face as the little frog pokémon made a fist with one webbed hand, and pounded it into his other open palm. The other trainer, on the opposing side of the arena, cleared her throat. The Bulbasaur by her side waved its vines around, stirring up dust in response to Neptune's threat.

"Okay, let's get started," she said, stretching out her arms. Eva took a few steps back to give the Froakie and Bulbasaur room to battle. She squinted, focusing in on the opponent's Bulbasaur as she thought of a strategy. Neptune glanced back at her, poised and ready to follow her next commands.

"Alright," she said. "Bulbasaur's grass moves are super-effective against you, so let's try lowering his attack with Growl."

"Kie!" he croaked in response.

"Oh," she called, adding one last thing just as her partner leapt into the fray. "Right after that, try striking with a Pound attack!"

Bonni was glad the Vulpix was eager to join her party, and was sure her Scorbunny shared her emotion. She let the Vulpix sit in the Pokeball while she pondered over a name. A short while later, and with another click, she let the Vulpix back out; that's when she noticed it was holding something.

Taking it from the Pokemon, Bonni turned it over in her hands. She looked bemusedly at it before placing it into her bag. While she couldn't use a leaf stone now, there was still plenty of opportunity for later!

I was thinking Vulpix, you would like a name too, I assume. she nodded toward the pale fluffball of a fox Pokemon. So, what do you think of Skaði? Would you like that name?
