"Alrighty then." Harris sighed, scared for what he was about to do. "Across the log, then.". He began to step across the log, knowing that Sakura and Caesar would follow. Ophelia and Storm could fly, so they had no problem getting around.

As you carefully walk across the log, you can feel the eyes of many Pokémon watching your every movement. Up ahead, a small island stands untouched in the middle of the bog, where a Pokémon lay, looking quite distressed at its predicament.

The gogoat shakes its leafy, shimmering mane of brush, then gently bumps its head against you. It doesn't seem to belong to anyone, being as wild as the seedot had been, though now it is already in your possesion.

Magpie nearly cried out when she heard bushes rustling,
but she had to stop herself from laughing when she saw
that the thing that she was scared of was just a kid. She
still had to do something, though, so Magpie walked to
the preschooler rather briskly. "Hey there!" Magpie
called. "What brings you here? Are you trying to catch a

She really wanted to find out more about the girl's
objective before accusing her of spooking snovers for no

Lizzie jumped as Waterfall came out of her Pokeball. "Well, if she knows..." She said, slowly getting onto her back. "C'mon Splash." She tapped Waterfall's hard shell. "Squirr!" Splash chirped, leaping up onto the back. "Alright Waterfall, a gentle ride, I don't want to hurt you." She said.

Once they reached the town Splash seemed to have curled up to sleep. "Oh, Splash..." She said. She was once again surprised by her water-type pokemon when Waterfall began to climb onto land. "Waterfall..." She said, shaking her head before getting off at the pokemon center's door. "Waterfall, return." She said, holding out her pokeball before turning to Splash, patting his little head. "Now, you don't need to be healed, so be quiet." She went inside, approaching the Nurse Joy of the first town.

When you approach, the clampearl immediately closes its shell in fright. It seems like the poor Pokémon may have been left here, as there's no other clear way that it would have found its way onto a small island in the middle of the swamp without arms or legs.

Eva watched the little frog pokémon with bated breath as he hopped closer. He tilted his head, staring back unblinkingly with those large eyes. She was a little nervous, honestly. This Froakie would be her first-ever partner-- if, of course, he wanted to be.

"Hello, there," she breathed, voice only quivering a little as she kneeled down to his level. Her knees pressed into the cool linoleum floors of the professor's laboratory.

The Froakie tilted his head, eyes narrowing in thought for a moment. Once his mind was made up, he gave a wide approximation of a smile, and hopped forwards enough to press its head into Eva's hand. "Oh!" she said, pleasantly surprised. It looked like the Froakie was interested in joining her on her gym challenge, after all!

"Ki-ki, froa!" The Froakie let out a pleased cry as she stroked his back gently. His skin was cool to the touch, slightly damp and a touch clammy. Eva couldn't help her own grin.

"It's very nice to meet you, too! How does the name 'Neptune' sound?"
