He slowly approached the Rockruff and scratched the pokemons head. "Hey there! Can we play for a bit? Me and Yawarakai need to go somewhere but that can wait. Mudslap hit the opponents pokemon getting some mud in its face lowering accuracy. "How gross!" the other trainer wiped off some extra mud that landed on her that Andre may or may not have done on purpose. I just looked and there's like no attacking moves for a low level Meditite this is... bad for the opponent "Meditite use psyshock!" she called and the meditite followed suit and hurt Andre

Laura was laying in the sun, watching the clouds move and make shapes and Pokemon. She heard a noise and saw a familiar head look straight at her, it was the Mudbray that was playing with Leif. Laura pushed herself into a sitting position and saw Leif, just bursting out of the bushes and looking tired. "Oh, Leif, had fun?" "Snivy!" The blue-tinted grass pokemon replied, putting a shiny rock in Laura's hands. Laura traced the firey symbol with her finger. "Is this a fire stone?" Leif replied by jumping in Laura's bag and pulling out her pokedex. "Sni!" "I guess I should check then." Gently taking it from her Snivy, she let her pokedex analyse the stone. "Yep, a fire stone." Laura nodded to Leif before putting her fire stone and her pokedex in her back. "Nice meeting you Mudbray, Leif, do you wanna go now?" Laura asked.

James was a bit of a late bloomer.

He hadn't left home when he was ten or eleven. He hadn't gone at the marginally acceptable age of twelve. No, no. He was nearly a decade overdue when he ended up on the road to the lab to get his first pokémon.

None of his reasons for waiting as long as he did mattered at all to him at all anymore, however, the moment his eyes met the big red eyes of the tiny plant monster before him.

After staring back at him for a while, the Bulbasaur moved first, waddling towards James. James fell into a crouch, reaching out to pet it and exclaiming with delight. "Oh, you are so perfect," he praised, rubbing its head with his hands. "Sweet little flower bud baby... I think I will name you Troye."

Before long, and after ignoring a lot of information he was given about how to catch pokémon and how to use the pokedex (he had been given these talks many times before), James and his new friend set out on the road away from home, beginning their adventure.

The girl let out a hum of acknoledgement, her attention fully focused on the small pokemon weaving around her legs. "'Course! Just gimme a sec to get there" she grinned and took the box, eyeing the adress as Genesis perched on her shoulder- the cyndaquill seemed curious as well. Route 1. Huh; there might be some pokemon to catch there, at least. "Cynda!" Genesis trilled, jumping off Emilia's shoulder and running off... the pokemon seemed to know where to go better than her trainer did. "GenESIS-" Emilia yelped, tucking the package under her arm and chasing after the cyndaquill into route 1.

Luix then responds by letting out a happy chirp as he liked the name. Afterwords the new trainer turned to the professor while thanking them for the help they gave him and grabing the pokeball of Luix before then leaving to start his new adventure, excitement as well as a bit of nervousness filling him"

She let out a small laugh, "there you go, that's better, isn't it?" she hummed, glad that she could help the pokemon. lavender flapped above her, watching the huge pokemon swim in the water in amusement, while her other pokemon lay restfully in their balls.

my last post. Spark was on a
small mission to retrieve
stolen pokeballs. He teamed
up with a few other trainers.
A wild Luxray has been
following him around for
the past day or two.

[ sorry about the delay! i was a bit caught up in school. ]

"We'll uh- uh... Take them by force!" The grunt yells.

Kai chuckles. "Yeah right. Ninetales, freeze their surrounding area." Ninetales releases shards of ice around them, trapping them. Tossing two pokeballs up in the air, two beams of light escape from them, forming into a giant Pidgeot and a Bellossom! "FIGHT US THEN, COWARDS!" the grunts yell from their cage of ice.

The staff member takes a step forwards. "Sammurott can battle one of them. Ninetales looks exhausted," he says, glancing at Ninetales panting next to Kai. Kai nods, rummaging through his pockets.

Will you participate in the battle?

I'm eyeing the grunt's pokemon oddly. The Pidgeot is okay, but seriously, what type of thief uses a Bellossom to battle? Don't they just scream friendly, harmless grass-type?

Tepig stands beside, a bit tense but otherwise okay. "You okay with fighting?" I ask it. The pig nods a bit in response and I say, "Tepig can fight the Bellossom," then, turning to the pokemon watching from the side, "Luxray, you can help, too."

Spark chooses Tepig to fight Bellossom!

Sammurott gets ready to attack at moment's notice. "Pidgeot, tailwind!"

The opposing teams speed gets boosted! Luxray leaps up and uses Thunderbolt on Pidgeot! It was super effective, the bird pokemon stumbles back, screeching. Tepig stands his ground as Bellossom sends a flurry of leaf shards at sammurott, effectively hittingt he larger pokemon.

Tepig fires an ember at Bellossom, and Bellossom yelps as it catches on fire, before running around wildly.

Spark stares in awe at the scene around him. It's his first serious battle, and boy, it sure is an eventful one. The staff member's Samurott is hit with a flurry of leaves, only to be damaged by Tepig's ember. On a completely different side of the battlefield, Luxray lands a furious bolt of lightning onto the grunt's Pidgeot.

"That's it!" Spark calls in encouragement. "Keep it moving, you two! Don't give them a break!"

His starter nods, figurative fire lighting up in his eyes. The elemental pig squeals in response, then shoots another Ember at the Bellossom. Spark loses track of what Luxray is doing, but he trusts that the large feline is busy with his fair share of the fight.

Tepig continues to battle valiantly, following your every command. Targeting the Bellossom due to the type advantage, he releases yet another Ember.

It's Super Effective! The opponent's Bellossom has fainted!

Tepig looks back at you, proud of his achievement. However, before he could celebrate more, the Pidgeot unleashes a Quick Attack to knock Tepig off his feet! Luxray unleashes another Thunderbolt in retaliation.

The Pidgeot stumbled, finally beginning to grow tired. One of the grunts seems to have a grin on their face, despite the freezing cold trap. There may be an ulterior motive to this battle. However, it's best to think of what's happening right now instead. Kai looks over to you. Seems like Kai has a plan.
