ThicketClan is set in a brambly, close-set forest. It has a mixture of both evergreen and discedous trees. Many thistles, thorns, and brambles crowd their territory. The camp is surrounded by dead and still growing brambles. It protects the camp well. The leader's den is a hollow stump with one nest inside. The warriors and apprentices dens are made of dead and growing brambles closely weaved around bushes, so they have both the cover of leaves and of brambles. The nursery is a split and slightly hollowed out rock circled with more brambles. Its entrance has a curtain of vines and lichen blocking the way in. The medicine den is another hollowed out log, larger and with several sections (one for the medicine cats, one for the patients, and one for the herbs section).

The Clan goes to see their ancestors; who reside in the Sky of Everlasting Peace; via a huge tree. The leaders and medicine cats must climb the tree and rest in a hollow between a lot of branches after drinking from the glowing water that collects there. The tree is located at the end of a brook that runs through their territory.

The prey that is normally found in ThicketClan includes small fish, big fish, squirrels, hares, voles, rabbits, and sometimes stoats. The fish are found only in the stream. Rabbits and hares are found at the edge of the forest, where it melts into moorland. Voles and squirrels are exclusively found in the actual forest, especially where it is discedous.

The Clan was originally founded by a black-and-white tom called Skye. He was then Skystar, after bringing together a group of injured, elderly, sick or lost and lonely cats. At first they were merely a random group without a system. But then a former Clan cat, Juniperpatch, began to carve them into a clan. Being a well-versed medicine cat, he appointed a leader and discovered the Moontree. This was many many moons ago and all these cats now relax in the Sky of Everlasting Peace.

The cats of ThicketClan are surprisingly varied in size. The pelts are often fluffy, although this can prove difficult when dealing with thorns. Many cats are also short-haired. The pelts also vary in colour, often tabbied or brownish, but also others.

ThicketClan doesn't have an exact reputation with the neighbouring cats, as the leaders and other cats personalities vary a lot. However, currently the leader has a pretty kind view of the other cats around their area.

Lemonice pressed her muzzle against the leader's flank, anxiously awaiting - praying for - the gentle rise and fall that would prove to her he was still alive. But Evergreenstar did not move, and Lemonice knew with a fearful certainty he never would again. She reached out to close his eyelids gently, and padded through the medicine cats den to check on her last patient, her own sister Honeyflame.

She wasn't moving, but she hadn't moved in days. This time, however, the reek of sickness had been, not replaced but intensified with the sickly stench of death. Honeyflame's golden fur was matted and her eyes glazed, not because of the fever which had rattled her body for so long but because her spirit had finally departed her weak mortal body. Lemonice's face screwed up in pain and grief, and she buried her face in her littermate's long fur.

"Sky, why? I thought it was over? We could have rebuilded from three, but from one? It will never happen." As she uttered the words, the walls around her began to shimmer. "Lemonice," thousands of voices whispered, their hushed mews bouncing off the close walls around her. "It is time." Lemonice bit her lip, but she kept her eyes glued to the shaking wall ahead of her. A form stepped out, a crystalline cat with stars in his eyes. Two more spirits followed the ancient warrior, Lemonice looked to her paws at the ghostly versions of Honeyflame and Evergreenstar.

The three Sky Warriors entwined with each other as they flew on the wind. They split and wound around the tallest tree in the forest, diving into the glowing pool in the curve of the tree's branches. Lemonice followed and climbed up the oak, peering into the water. She paused and nudged her muzzle into the puddle. Lapping some up, she found a sleepy feeling coming over her and she fell into a deep slumber. Her eyes snapped open in a starry meadow. Panic rushed into her chest, but a calm voice reassured her.

"All is fine, step onto the stump." The first shape appeared in front of her: the white cat from before. Eight other cats began to take shape behind him. Lemonice closed her eyes in blank confusion. Seeing her worry, he spoke up. "Lemonice. You have been chosen to be ThicketClan's new leader." Lemonice pinned her ears back and stared. Before she could speak, the cat continued. "I am Skystar, I am here to give you your first life." Her eyes widened, Skystar was the first leader of their noble Clan.

"I give you this life for determination, so you may lead the Clan through the difficult moons to come." He touched his nose to hers, and a searing flame ripped through her. She lifted her head high, proud to have been blessed. Another cat stepped forwards. The blossoming ginger she cat was Lemonice's sister. "I give you this life for love. Love your Clan like you love me, like I love you." The pain was worse this time, causing her to shake. It dulled, then filled her heart with a glowing warmth.

The third cat was Evergreenstar.

All was calm. Nothing moved, apart from a gentle breeze whispering through the leaves. A distant bird call echoed through the forest. There was the tiniest rustle of grasses - and a calico form burst from the bushes and flew at the mouse. Lemonstar's paws skidded on the smooth, sandy earth and the mouse scampered into the undergrowth; although not before letting out an alarm call. With a frustrated hiss, Lemonstar righted herself. Her light green eyes scanned the brush, despite knowing that the mouse's squeak would have alerted the remaining prey, scaring it out of the area. Perhaps by the stream she would find something.

Tail flicking, the fluffy molly stalked through the forest to where the brook began - right by the Moontree. She took one look at the gently light illuminating from the crown of the tree and decided it was time to consult her ancestors. Taking a deep breath, she sprang from the ground and caught the second branch up. Lemonstar clambered into the middle of its branches and crouched there. After taking two hesitant laps of the shimmering water, the Sky of Everlasting Peace enveloped her in a gentle sleep.

When she awoke, Lemonstar was shaking. But she knew that ThicketClan was safe, forever. The Sky was still there. Despite the hard times of the past moons, her Clan would survive. With a shake of her damp pelt, Lemonstar leapt out of the Moontree and glanced around. Her eyes lit up as she realized she understood exactly what to do. On the way home, the young Leader would patrol the borders. Then Lemonstar would get some rest, and she didn't have to worry about what would happen later. Because that was a problem for Lemonstar and the Sky to fix; together. And Lemonstar would sleep in peace.

Lemonstar's sharp green gaze spotted another rodent scuffling in some grasses. She swiftly took up a hunting crouch and crept forwards, paw after paw: her whiskers stiff and alert for any danger. Her haunches tensed and her tail held still before she pounced, claws outstretched and pinning the wriggling creature to the earth. She killed it swiftly with a crack of its neck and straightened up with a pleased smile. That sorts out my dinner for tonight...

An irritated huff came from a cat poised to kill in front of her, who looked grievously at the mouse dangling from Lemonstar's maw. "I was trying to catch that," Sparkgaze told her leader. Lemonstar tilted her head with a smile, and brushed against her. "C'mon. Let's go back and eat. Maybe we can share?" Arriving back at camp, the two never eventually did eat, but Lemonstar slept soundly as Skystar had promised she would, and though Sparkgaze's sleep was disturbed by nightmares of the cats she'd not saved, she too made it to the morning.

Lemonstar dreamt of a future Clan. A new ThicketClan, a beautiful vision. A deputy: the cat she knew of, a grey-and-white tom. She knew Foggyprance, a warrior of old ThicketClan. He had left with his childhood friend, Sedgewatcher, after the deaths off all his remaining kin and a close brush with death himself. But as Lemonstar awoke and stretched, she smiled at the thought of how her old Clanmate would return, and become her deputy. He was the perfect cat to lead after her.

Nightseer worked hard the entire night, assisting both Cloverstem and Cream. the former kittypet had entered into labor first, and although she gave birth to five kits, it had been a quite quick process. Cloverstem entered labor a few hours later, and Cream insisted on helping Nightseer, who was considerably tired by the first labor. Once the two queens were cuddling their kits, he left the nursery and headed towards Viperstar's den to inform him, telling him about Cream's kindness. Because of that, the leader decided to accept the queen as official member of the clan, and he announced the great news to clan. after that, he headed in the nursery to greet the queens and congratulate them, watching the kits with kind eyes. his only kit was not a grown warrior, while his sister Hazekit didn't survive, and every time he thought about that, he felt a grip clenching his heart.

Robin's relief in finding the traces of the dog's smell was so clear, that the other warriors friendly mocked her while following the smell. It led to the border, and trespassed it. "should we go after it?" Robin asked. Pantherclaw shook her head, flicking her tail slowly. "it is not worth it. it's not even our territory, and there is a clan there, we might not be able to go back home. we'll just check this part of the territory carefully the next time." she explained, turning on her paws. the other warriors didn't speak, silently agreeing with the female. Robin nodded, eager to go back to report to Viperstar.

"so there was a dog," Viperstar inquired, his big green eyes aimed at Robin, who nodded proudly. she was gad she was not seen by a liar anymore, and her daring side surfaced. "can i become part of the clan, then?" she asked softly, glancing at Frostaster behind Viperstar. Bluerye smirked, amused by Robin's courage to poke at Viperstar. almost no cat would dare to do so, fearing the leader's wit and rage - although only the cats that belonged to Descentclan knew that side of him. "i always keep my promises. as for your warrior name... i already know a good one. this night, i will announce it in front of everybody."

The trees are ablaze with reds and golds and oranges, like the most spectacular sunset decided to curl up and take a leaffall nap amongst the branches. Many other creatures are feeling that same siren call of sleep, though they know they must hold out until leafbare. Now is a time for gathering and festivities, of celebrating the moons gone by and preparing for those to come. Kits become apprentices, apprentices become warriors, warriors, the lucky ones at least, become elders; it's all part of the cycle of life, and at no time is that more apparent than at the height of leaffall.

(hope you don't mind but i changed up a few things. first i want a bigger clan and then i'll add to the empty higher slots with previous cats)

loudbreeze met faces with her leader and her clanmates. a small apprentice mewled behind her as venomstar sniffed him. the leader looked at loudbreeze, then nightpatch. "who wants to mentor him."
"just like that?" nightpatch asked in disbelief. venomstar gave him a dark glare.
"yes, just like that. we don't have enough warriors to hold a call for him. do you have an issue with that?"
"no-"
"good, then he's yours," venomstar purred, ignoring the annoyed look on her deputy's face. loudbreeze slid away, looking at nightpatch as the three cats remained alone in their place. the apprentice looked at the two cats, eyes shining.
"can i name myself? i want to be yowlpaw."
"that's not a name, young one."
"toothpaw?"
venomstar looked at nightpatch before padding away. the black patched tom nodded, giving a weird purr. the tom gave a curt nod to his apprentice.
"can we hunt or train or anything now?" toothpaw meowed, and nightpatch hesitated.
"no, let me do something quickly," he muffled, and the older tom turned, quickly padding away.

loudbreeze sat quietly as nightpatch came to her side. "oh i'm sorry-"
"it doesn't matter," loudbreeze looked quietly at nightpatch who felt as if he was shrinking before the fellow molly. she looked at him, giving her signature light laugh. the tom grinned weakly, sitting next to him. "i'm proud, you're the first cat of spiderclan to have an apprentice."
"that should've been yours."
"darn right," loudbreeze grinned, tail slapping nightpatch's back playfully. she closed her eyes happily, ears flicking. "i want to say, you are a lovely tom, and i'm generally interested in being your mate."
"maybe," nightpatch meowed teasingly, nodding as he turned around and padded away, purring in tune with the fellow deputy as he went to find his apprentice to train with him.
