Pokémon Adopters [V.5] [ANNOUCEMENT]

They charge after the prehistoric Pokémon, or at least where it was saw last. “Wait, no!” One of them yells, just as a net was dropped on it, but from where? Everyone looks up and points at a helicopter with the iconic team rocket logo. Not them again! The helicopter is starting to lift the net up! What will you do?

As Deku watched the net lift off, he gasped. Quickly, he paced forward and leaped upwards, hoping to grasp onto the net. Thankfully, he gripped onto it, but what now? Mizu ran up from behind, and pounced onto Deku's back. Up Mizu climbed, and he bit down onto the net, attempting to cut the threads of it.


(I apologize so much for the long hiatus,,, I lost interest and got so busy for awhile there. I'll probably only be active here on the weekends, but I want to get back into this ^^)

The threads of the net slowly grow weaker and weaker as Mizu tugs and bites harder onto it. Soon, there's a hole, perfect for the pokemon to escape! Turns out it was an aerodactyl the whole time. Aerodactyl soars out from the net, grateful. Team Rocket yells down from the helicopter to you and the other people around you, enraged.

Nurse Joy awkwardly shuffles away a little, waiting for Luxray to calm down. Luxray bristles in anger and distrust, but the static stops coursing through Luxray's fur. Tepig glances between Nurse Joy, the Luxray, and you. Nurse Joy quietly hands you a potion. "Perhaps.. It'd be better if you use the potion on Luxray instead of me.." she nervously says. "I certainly don't want to anger Luxray again- they don't seem to trust people very easily.

I'm about to gain a major distrust towards Nurse Joys and pokemon centers in general.

aaaNurse Joy shuffles away from me awkwardly as she waits for Luxray to calm down. Luxray's fur still bristles in anger and warning and distrust, but at least the static coursing through its fur has slowly stopped.
aaaNurse Joy holds out the potion she was holding to me. "Perhaps... it'd be better if you use the potion on Luxray instead of me," she says nervously. "I certainly don't want to anger Luxray again - they don't seem to trust people very easily."
aaaAnnoyance shoots through me as I silently grab the potion out of Nurse Joy's hand. My reaction seems to surprise her, but frankly, I don't care. I've never had a problem defying authority before, and I don't like this Nurse Joy. I hope she's new. I doubt she even knows what she's doing.
aaaDon't trust people easily? Yeah, right, I think bitterly. Of course Luxray didn't trust people easily! It was a wild pokemon! If all wild pokemon trusted easily, then there wouldn't be any left in the wild! They would've all been captured already, and not all trainers are good at things.
aaaI look towards Luxray, then momentarily forgetting that Nurse Joy exists, close my eyes and run a hand through my hair. I would need to calm down in order to get through this.
aaaFinally, I open my eyes and carefully begin to approach Luxray from its side, but also making sure that it can see. Once I'm only a couple inches from its flank, I mutter, "I'm going to apply the potion now, Luxray. Are you ready?"

Spark prepares to apply the potion on Luxray!

Luxray nods and Nurse Joy seems to be very embarrassed. "I shouldn't have asked those questions.." she mutters. Luxray flicks his tail back and forth, sweeping a little bit of dust off the floor. Tepig stands besides you, nervous, as if Luxray could attack them at any time.

Stumpy stood, and then looked towards Flash. "I can't carry you, so you'll have to be in your ball for a little bit, okay?" Stumpy recalled the lanturn, and marked the cave on her map.
"Alright, you guys, lead the way!" Stumpy exclaimed, setting down Pixie and Jalepeño. She collected the towel and other items, then started off on her grand adventure, following her Pokémon.

Lanturn's pokeball seems to wiggle a little bit in agreement. Pixie and Jalepeño look around, before scampering outside the cave, back to the beach. They leave little footprints over the sand, before they decide to head towards the route that leads to the next city. They look back at you, excited.

Stumpy hurried after her Pokémon, walking briskly down the route. Maybe she could buy some supplies to get Flash out of his ball. There were plenty of fish Pokémon, surely someone would have an idea.

After your Pokémon are sent away, a net ball and dusk ball appear in the hub. Upon opening them, a pair of slightly disoriented Pokémon appear, being a lurantis and a golbat.

The seedot couldn't be more excited. It gleefully bounces up and down, then playfully headbutts River.

I giggle softly and pull a pokeball from my back.
River bounces around happily and playfully nuzzles her new friend.

It seems that the playful antics of your Pokémon have attracted yet another one, who your seedot appears to be quite familiar with. It happily headbutts the Pokémon, and runs over to you, enticing the Pokémon to follow.

Harris smiled at his new selection of pokemon. "Well, you Lurantis shall be Sakura, and you Golbat shall be Storm." He named the pokemon, who bowed in agreement. "Now then, if I have been told correctly, there should be some new pokemon on the way." Harris began looking at a map and began walking in the direction of a route.

As you make your way towards the closest city, you find yourself in a deep patch of grass. The grass brushes your ankles, and oshawatt seems to be enjoying the fresh air. After stumbling around a little bit, you find that the grass looks a bit more squashed as you continue down the route. Maybe a large pokemon had been walking around here..?



Arceus appears! It's god!

the footprints really didn't do a good job at scalign the god of the world. everything in legends, every tale and story that christine had ever encountered did nothing to measure the absolute scale in both presence and size that arceus embodied. easily twice the size of the girl, the pokemon towered above her, looking down at her with a gaze that struck fear into the deepest corner of her soul. in a way, however, it was soothing-- knowing that she was face-to-face with the being that controlled fate was a relief when chris knew that the outcome of her situation was completely out of her hands.

"Arceus." She breathed, barely a whisper. "I-- oh, lord, I'm honored to meet you." Clutching the trembling Oshawott closer to her chest, Christine fell to her knees in reverence. "Thank you. I think." was this a challenge? was she supposed to challenge the lord of time to a duel?

"Are you... are you here to fight me? I mean, I can battle if you want, but-- I'm a little worried about Kali here. So maybe we cna battle but can we... be careful? Please?" rambling now, Christine looked at Oshawott expectantly. "Unless-- unless he doesn't want to fight. It's up to Kali, I'm sorry. But I'm also fine with not battling at all."

It's smooth surface shined in the sun and she stood up, looking at it. "One thing..." She said again. "It would probably be uncomfortable travelling on land to the pokemon center, so if you'd go in this ball..." She turned it around, shaking nervously. "I can release you after you're healed if you want, I just, it's dangerous in the water when your hurt." Lizzie holds out the ball to it.

Bonnibel ruffled her Scorbunny's fur playfully as they left the Pokecentre. "Alright, alright!" she grinned down at her Pokemon, scanning the map as he finally gave it back to her. "Where to first?" Bonnie looked up, her eyes focused down the pathways leading ahead. A flash of something white and orange caught her eye, and as she followed it, she found Higgs bouncing up and down excitedly on a path leading left out of town. "Of course, that way!" She broke into a jog to catch up to her Pokemon. Both Bonni and Higgs then headed left out into the fields of Hoenn, looking forward to the adventure.

a wild pokemon saw the map, and
it couldn't help but secretly follow.

it followed you until scorbunny stopped
with the map in his paws, and then,
the wild pokemon jumped out to look
further at the coordinates.

it showed no harm at all, just interested
in going on an adventure.

it was a wild vulpix, and it
was oddly coloured...
