When his eyes opened, he stretched his limbs, slowly and carefully. He thought back to the proud cats with stars glittering in their fur, and receiving his nine lives. It had been a dream, but it had been real, too. As he stretched, he could feel the power thrumming in his veins, his bones. He was, now officially, the Imperator of Gatorclan. After a few moments of basking in the sunlight that dappled the ground underneath the Great Oak, he got to his paws, ears pricked as his nose twitched, the scent of little creatures running along the swamp-forest floor reaching him. But for now, at least, he ignored the tantalizing scents, turning away from the towering Great Oak to begin to head back to Gatorclan’s camp, where Sicily would be waiting for him.

After he had walked a few pawsteps, however, he heard rustling - much too big to be prey, he didn’t think twice before, yowling a battle cry, lept through the brush. his paws met fur, and snarling, he pinned the intruder underneath his paws. ”Who are you, and what are you doing on Gatorclan’s territory?” His question, spoken fiercely, was met with an indignant hiss. Looking closer, he noticed he’d pinned a tom quite like himself, not an elder though much beyond Gator’s years, with wiry orange fur and pale yellow eyes that glared up at him.

“You asked for a Bishop, didn’t you?” The tom snapped, ears pinned flat against his head. After a moment Gator stepped off of him and let the tom get to his paws, shaking out his fur. “The stars sent me here, to Gatorclan.” Gator, albiet reluctantly admitted to himself that he had, indeed, asked for a Bishop - the Clan needed a healer, and so that’s what he’d asked for. ”I did. What is your name?” The tom’s ears flicked. “Nikolai.” He responded, following when Gator resumed his walk back to the camp. ”Well, Nikolai. . .welcome to Gatorclan.”

Hickorywind opened his eyes. “Hey.” Minkblossom meowed harshly “Keep that one closed.” Hickorywind furrowed his brow. “Why can’t I see out of my right eye?” He asked hoarsely. Minkblossom sighed and sat next to him, pushing a bundle of herbs in front of his nose. “You can’t see because you don’t have an eye.” the medicine cat stated blandly. Hickorywind coughed out the leaf he had just taken in his mouth. His head whipped around to face her. “I...what?” He gasped. “Viperstar clawed your eye out. You let his kits get killed and he reacted.” Fury boiled within the young tom. “That’s foxdung!” He spat “I let them go because Viperstar was with them! He told me they were going on an adventure and not to tell anyone...or he would kill me.” He trailed off, voice growing quieter near the end. Minkblossom blinked in surprise. “Wh-What?” She murmured. Hickorywind lowered his gaze. “I guess I was screwed either way.” He sighed. Looking up at Minkblossom, he clenched his jaw. “Can I still be a warrior?” He asked. Minkblossom cleared her throat and nodded. “Yes,” she told him “I’ve heard of cats with worse injuries still carrying out their warrior duties.” Hickorywind nodded in thanks. Suddenly, a cat cleared their throat. Both cats looked at the crevice entrance of the den. Hollypounce stood there with a squirrel in her jaws. “H-hey Hickorywind.” She greeted, muffled “I was wondering if we could share this squirrel? If it’s okay with Minkblossom.” The medicine cat furrowed her brow and nodded, no doubt processing the information Hickorywind had just told her. “Yes, that’s fine.” She murmured, getting to her paws “I need to do a few things anyways. If you need anything don’t hesitate to call em.” She meowed over her shoulder before leaving the den. Hollypounce laid beside him and pushed the squirrel towards him. “Don’t worry. I know you can’t leave,” She meowed happily “So I’ll come visit you everyday!” Hickorywind smiled and took a bite. And the two laid there, talking and laughing.

Viperstar flicked an ear. “It’s fine!” He hissed at Otterfur, who was pacing the den. The brown tom stopped and stared at his leader. “No,” He hissed “it is not ‘fine’! You’ve taken this too far, Viperstar.” Lionclaw rolled his eyes. The second deputy was nonchalantly laying on the floor of the den, flicking his tail at a scrap of moss. “Calm yourself Otterfur.” He sighed “Viperstar needs to show that he’s not a force to be reckoned with. Giving fear to your subjects is the proper way to rule.” Otterfur glared at the golden tom. “Shut up Lionclaw. What do you know about leading?” Viperstar lashed his tail. “Otterfur.” He warned “He’s right. The cats of BearClan have to know they are nothing more than cats under my supervision. I control them.” The lanky brown tom sat down in exasperation. “Viperstar I’m telling you,” He protested “if you keep this up, cats will fear you, but they will also want to get rid of you. You will turn into Slatestar.” Viperstar leapt to his paws. “How dare you!” He yowled in indignation “How dare you compare me to that miserable collection of bones and fur! That coward did nothing to help us! I haven’t sent up a single cat to the bear, and look where we are now. Do you see that hairy beast trying to kill us? No. It was bluffing. And we called its bluff. We are fine and secure. Thanks. To. Me.” He prodded his deputy with his paw at the later syllables. Otterfur shook him off. “Do what you will,” He meowed, heading towards the exit “but mark my words. If you don’t stop with the threats and constant displays of aggression, BearClan won’t have any cats left to lead.”

Stoneclaw slipped through the shadowy trees. He was running late. He looked nervously up at the moon and kept his ears pricked for any signs of movement. Thankfully, he made it through the majority of the territory undetected. The young warrior eventually made it to the gathering point. Almost all of the apprentices were already there, chattering quietly with the other young warriors. Stoneclaw found a spot at the edge next to Acornfall. “Did I miss anything?” He asked, catching his breath from his anxious run. The She-cat shook her head. “It’s just about to start. You made it just in time.” She smiled at him. He nodded and waited for the rest of the group to quiet down. He looked up into the branches and saw a grey tom waiting for the murmuring to stop as well. “Thank you all for coming,” Ashtail meowed “Now, it’s time to discuss the future of BearClan. A future without Viperstar.”

Lucid Shadows

Calling a dense and foggy forest their home and calling the dens under the roots of trees, holes within trunks, and other nooks and crannies home. These cats reside in this forest to protect their clan from dangers such as other clans who are not adapted to fighting in the forest. They are incredibly loyal to one another and are usually hostile towards other clans. The cats move as a unit when fighting, seemingly all connwcted some way mentally when it comes to fighting. The cats arw good at using the fog of the forest and dense undergrowth to their advantage, hence the part of their name being Shadows.


Reputation
The clan is known for being very hostile and mysterious, but also as a force to be reckoned with when it comes to battle. The cats of the clan, while loyal to one another, are more likely to betray others who are not of the clan. Most the cats excel at fighting and climbing. Swimming isnt much of a necessary skill to them. Some may excel at hunting over fighting though.

Personality
The cats are not known to show their pain visibly, seeing it as a sign of weakness. They are not likely to ask for help unless they think it is truly neccessary. Secrets and rumors are common within the clan but are usually minor ones as the cats are fairly open with one another.
Most of the cats form 'mini-clans' or cliques and will usually grow out of these cliques as they mature into warriors. These cliques help establish friendships and give apprentices the chance to meet a cat who may be their friend for moons to come. However, these clicks also give rise to enemies, frenemies and rivals.

Territory
The Lucid Shafiws reside inside a extensive, foggy, and dense forest. Their territory is quite large, and can be hard to maintain but they are able cats, and are more than willing to put in the extra work to keep their clan
safe. they sleep in small cave denunder uprooted trees m, in tree trunks, and with the small caves in the steep hill. A stream flowing from the hill trickles through camp supplying water for them to drink.

iiindentAkela sluggishly stretched with a yawn parting hers lips, all while remaining completely still and silent, fearing the awakening of the two petite forms curled against her stomach where they suckled no more than a few hours ago. These two kits had caused the molly more pain than she had ever anticipated──sure, this was her first time ever giving birth, but she had expected much better than what she had endured. It was something almost all young and innocent she-cats looked forward to, dreamt about when they were young, but never would they dare imagine the true suffering it would cause! Recalling upon it now, she remembered the fog of dread and distress that overcame her thoughts almost as soon as she had entered the medicine-cat’s den, urgently ushered in by two cats, Makani and Kaimana. This cloud rumbled overhead, raining horrendous ideas, thoughts, onto her mind, as though the world itself would end the next day──What if something goes amiss? Will my kits survive? Will I survive? What would they do without a mother? Who would take care of them? What if they die? How will I cope?

iiindentMakani’s soothing words were the only to keep Akela calm throughout the process, and to quell those infectious words that pounded at her skull. Now that all was done and over with, the molly could only be glad that she had gotten those kits out of her, and, especially, that not one of the them had been taken from her──it would be impossible for her to imagine, if it had played out as so, that one of her own spawn was taken from the world before they had the opportunity to taste the air, lap water from the crisp waters surrounding them, and feel the earth beneath them. Even so, Akela knew she was fortunate to have survived, and that her two offspring had also survived. Many kits had fallen over the years, those not of her own, and to have her kits survive her first birthing was a blessing──usually the first was the hardest for a mother to survive and not many of her kits would be ensured survival either. As the queen looked down upon Kainalu and Kalua now, she realized how grateful she was to have gone through everything, even if it was the most intense struggle of her life, to have them with her now.

iiindentAkela directed her eyes toward the sky, where the light of Wehilani now sprawled, and smiled. “Watch over my children, God of the Sun, and let them live a life of fulfillment.”

iiindentAkamai glanced from the mouth of the warrior’s hollow, watching as some of the others poured into the clearing from their daily patrols──some carrying freshly killed prey, still warm to the touch, while others grimaced in disappointment. He, pardoned from the day’s patrols, sighed in an utmost exhaustion; but as his two offspring, Lanakila and Leinani, soon came into view, he perked in attention and set his eyes upon them. He lightly smiled watching them chat happily amongst one another, glad to see that their strenuous journey hadn’t set the two farther apart from one another. In fact, Akamai could imagine that their troubles had brought them closer to one another──especially since their mother wasn’t there, his support being all they had.

iiindentBut now he bore a new name, a new title, and resided among a completely foreign land with new sights and smells surrounding him, sometimes sending him into dizzied spells that off put his directioning. He couldn’t help feeling overwhelmed by all that he and his companions had endured in such a short span of two moons, ultimately landing them in a territory they had never imagined possible before when among GraveClan. Even his children bore names he could barely recognize! How was it that everyone he knew was quite accustomed to these unusual names? Had they already had these names before joining the ranks of LouluClan, perhaps? Akamai pondered over the time he had approached Kaimana, their leader, while she was about on patrol, introducing himself with his former name. She peered unto him with an odd, confused expression, tilting her head as he uttered his name. As she had responded with her own, Akamai could barely pronounce it! Several times must he repeat it in his head, trying desperately not to embarrass himself before the Clan and his children with a mispronounced name of their leader.

iiindentThe others of the Clan are much the same──they, too, have unusual names that they weren’t forced to change upon entering. Perhaps, on this island, the native cats have names in styles all the same. Be it Iwalani──the newest warrior──who had just joined but a few sunrises ago, had never changed her name from the original, not from the odd way it is now. Although Akamai had nothing against the unique, beautiful style which these cats had adopted, he was still unaccustomed to their normalities which are so unlike the ones back at home… or lack thereof.

iiindent“Are those your two?” A voice piped from behind, jerking the tom from his pondering daze and focusing his attention back onto his surroundings. His ears swiveled behind, catching the sound of approaching pawsteps, then his eyes caught the slightest tint of white and black──might it be Iwalani? “Why yes,” He responded with a chuckle rumbling from his chest. “Those are my two.” The molly finally arrived at his side, resting on her haunches with the lightest flick of her tail. She sent him a smile, followed his line of sight, and caught Lanakila and Lainani in her eyes. “They seem close. Must be nice, mine disappeared once they were old enough.” Her statement seemed rather nonchalant, but her eyes bore another story──within them, green clouds of sorrow swirled violently.

iiindent“Yes, they’re very close, surprisingly so. It wasn’t the case before──they despised each other, though now I haven’t seen them from the other’s side.” Akamai broke his gaze from the pair, meeting that of the newest warrior as concern flashed through his own. “So you have no clue where they have gone? That’s a shame, might I say.” Iwalani smiled, though it didn’t reach those green eyes. Her look seemed off, even a bit distant, as though her mind wandered elsewhere than from where her four paws landed now. “No, not a clue, but it is what to expect.” She sighed. “They tasted freedom and were immediately hooked.”

iiindentAfter a brief pause, the female shook away an invisible fly and snapped her gaze back to Akamai, smiling with a newfound, foreign emotion behind it. “Anyway, I hope to see you around, then?” Iwalani inquired. The tom, although rather taken aback by this sudden shift, decided not to show this with a smile of his own. “Of course,” He replied with a nod. “Anytime you’d like.” The she-cat cast one more smile, rose onto her paws, and padded away with a quickened step, her tail swaying behind. How odd.

iiindentThe white she-cat glided through the stream, like a mere vision or ghost, and disappeared from view onto the other side. All the while, she leaped through the underbrush and allowed only but her nose and ears to guide her through this journey through the deep-rooted forests of the island, where she’d soon find herself at the Sacred Cove. Here, she’d submerge herself into the waters of this ancient body of water and relinquish in quick discussion with the Gods, appearing to her in a vision so fast it was as though she had just stepped into the water. Kaimana knew this already, mainly because only a few moons ago had she done just the same in order to make a request of importance to her, and that being to bring her sister back to the Clan. Although they had successfully fulfilled this request of hers, Kaimana had another on her mind. Anyway, it was still the two-moon mark as to where she was required to visit the Gods and assess the Clan’s current health, though they are already fully aware, and request their aid. What would they bring upon them this moon, she pondered.

iiindentNot only was this a race against her own abilities, but a race against time──she mustn’t arrive at the Sacred Cove any later than the assigned date, and so time raced against her. The moon, already high in the sky, assured Kaimana she’d be welcomed by Aonani on this night of the full-moon, whether or not any of them would make it. Even then, an ancestor would likely approach to guide Kaimana if the Gods weren’t present, though that ever being the case was highly unlikely.

iiindentBrushing into the clearing, Kaimana paused at the shoreline as her breaths came hard, heavy, and fast. Her fur glistened under the full brightness of the moon and stars, filling the Leader with determination, and then she dared to plunge deep into the Cove’s waters, barely managing to take the slightest breath of air.

iiindent“Kaimana, open your eyes.” A voice called. The she-cat parted her right eyes open, glancing around in hesitation before the other followed──no longer was she deep beneath the cool waves but in a real known as the Open Plain, where the Gods and mortals could meet for these such discussions. Before her, three figures stood in wait, their pelt covered in ancient runes and symbols resembling their purpose. Wehilani, being the God of the sun and day, shone a pale yellow in color and was coated in fiery flames and other miscellaneous. Aonani, Goddess of the moon and night, was noted for the image of a crescent moon placed centered on her forehead, accentuating her attractive features. Makunakua, God of the stars and death, looked as though he could fade against the sky of night, blending with the stars and constellations. These mighty beings were sure a sight to uphold, especially by a humbled cat such as Kaimana.

iiindentThe molly bowed her head immediately upon entering their realm, only ever straightening herself once they welcomed her closer. She stood, carefully padded toward them, and approached their semi-circle which they had formed──where, in the center, a single star glowed almost blindingly with light. “What is your report for us this moon?” Wehilani began, taking the lead on the discussion. Kaimana faced his direction with a smile, preparing a calculated answer. “All is well and prosperous for the Clan; we’ve had several new members, a successful birthing, and a steady flow of prey each hunt.” She nodded her head in satisfaction. “I have nothing unfortunate to report, nothing but good favors.”

iiindentKaimana caught that of Makunakua smiling at her response, tail whisking in rhythm to the others as their eyes remained on the leader, the one they chose to rightfully rule over their esteemed Clan. “Very well then, Kaimana. Is there anything more you’d like to discuss?” The white she-cat nodded in quick reply, meeting the eyes of Wehilani as he directed the conversation once more. “Of course──i’d like to request an apprentice.” Tilting their head to the side, Aonani caught the leader’s attention with a flick of her tail and smiled to her. “And why is that?” “Because the Clan needs new, young cats to fill its ranks and keep the others optimistic──they may not believe that we are growing now, but if we are filled with our newest generations, then their spirits will grow.”

iiindent“Good reasoning, very good.” Makunakua piped-up once she had finished. “I propose to fill this request. Kaimana, I will send a well, able-bodied apprentice to you, one I can assure will prosper within your ranks as you would hope.” Kaimana smiled to the God, bowing her head in thanks. The others nodded in agreement to his words, then stood simultaneously to wish her well on her way. “We’ll be here in the next two moons, right on the date.” Wehilani concluded. “Just remember, we are always watching over you, Kaimana.” The molly nodded in response and closed her eyes, welcoming the darkness that overcame her senses…

iiindentSuddenly, water suspended the she-cat’s form once more as she felt herself continue to plunge deeper into the waters of the Cove, as though she had just sprung from its shoreline. Kaimana promptly opened her eyes from the dark abyss and clawed her way to the surface, taking a choked-breath in through her nose. Swiveling away from the ocean, she swam back to shore and emerged onto its sandy front, shaking the water from her soaked pelt as the moon continued to shine brightly overhead. Overcame by exhaustion, the white feline stepped only a few pawsteps from the water before curling into the sand, instantly falling into a long-awaited slumber.

Though the fire quickly runs out of fuel the damage is done and Sunpaw will need two months of rest and x1 stinging nettle, x1 dandelion & x1 yarrow.

Lucid Shadows

Calling a dense and foggy forest their home and calling the dens under the roots of trees, holes within trunks, and other nooks and crannies home. These cats reside in this forest to protect their clan from dangers such as other clans who are not adapted to fighting in the forest. They are incredibly loyal to one another and are usually hostile towards other clans. The cats move as a unit when fighting, seemingly all connwcted some way mentally when it comes to fighting. The cats arw good at using the fog of the forest and dense undergrowth to their advantage, hence the part of their name being Shadows.


Reputation
The clan is known for being very hostile and mysterious, but also as a force to be reckoned with when it comes to battle. The cats of the clan, while loyal to one another, are more likely to betray others who are not of the clan. Most the cats excel at fighting and climbing. Swimming isnt much of a necessary skill to them. Some may excel at hunting over fighting though.

Personality
The cats are not known to show their pain visibly, seeing it as a sign of weakness. They are not likely to ask for help unless they think it is truly neccessary. Secrets and rumors are common within the clan but are usually minor ones as the cats are fairly open with one another.
Most of the cats form 'mini-clans' or cliques and will usually grow out of these cliques as they mature into warriors. These cliques help establish friendships and give apprentices the chance to meet a cat who may be their friend for moons to come. However, these clicks also give rise to enemies, frenemies and rivals.

Territory
The Lucid Shafiws reside inside a extensive, foggy, and dense forest. Their territory is quite large, and can be hard to maintain but they are able cats, and are more than willing to put in the extra work to keep their clan
safe. they sleep in small cave denunder uprooted trees m, in tree trunks, and with the small caves in the steep hill. A stream flowing from the hill trickles through camp supplying water for them to drink.

"Hunting patrols, border patrols," the molly trailed off, flicking her long tail before turning her head to loudbreeze.

"Hunting," Loudbreeze licked her jaws, and then stared back at VenomStar. "Deputies do these things, don't they?"

VenomStar nodded, and the cat turned, before halting again at the tortoiseshell's voice.

"Don't go hunting again, patrolling for an apprentice or even a medicine cat would be best."

Loudbreeze hesitated before pouncing away from the camp, and Venomstar decided that she herself would patrol for a cat.

seem to know enough about herbs to keep them on you."

thymewing smiled. "flowers are my passion! and now that i'm

It is greenleaf. The sun is shining, the birds are singing... and the sun is shining, directly overhead.
