I play bass guitar, (though I'm super out of practice.) and I love it/miss it. I've always wanted to learn the violin, but I think I'm too tone-deaf lol.

• i don't have many hobbies, so sort of by default my favorite one is playing video games. i have a few games that are near and dear my heart: undertale, fallout: new vegas, journey (although i've never played that one. i watched a playthrough of it recently, and it's simply magical.), and probably the most recent one, the quarry. i actually got to play the quarry, because my laptop came with a month of xbox game pass, and i didn't realize until, probably around the start of this year. i knew i was going to have top surgery, so i saved it until now, so i could have plenty to keep me occupied after surgery.
  i could honestly go on and on about the quarry, right now. it's sort of a stupid game, with plenty of plot holes and weird dialogue (not to mention some problematic moments), but for whatever reason, i absolutely love it. i need to find someone to talk to who also likes the game, because i'm fairly certain my friends are already tired of me blabbering on about it sdkjfh.

OOH here's drama from something i like, lengthy post incoming!:
i collect dolls. i collect a wide variety (monster high, bratz, et cetera). recently, MGA
had their bratz x mean girls dolls leaked to the public, shortly announcing their con-
crete release dates a week-or-so after the leaks. im not a huge mean girls fan, but i
did really like regina's doll, so i resigned myself to trying to get her when she released
on october 17th. october 3rd rolls around, cady's release, and she sells out in TWO (2)
minutes. twitter outcry is insane. people are astonished. gets funnier: bratz.com does
not sell to the UK or mexico, so they give some stock to amazon UK and a popular doll
store from mexico (blanking on the name) to sell. they both sell out incredibly quick.
amazon UK did not have a restrict on stock, so someone discovered they seemingly only
stocked about 50 dolls on amazon (since amazon halts when the stock is out), and then
that store in mexico begins cancelling orders bc they oversold their stock of 500. oopsie.

anyway, regina sold out in three minutes this time. i got her by accident in anatomy at 10:03.

there!! i love horror media with "unconventional" monsters. i actually got to meet ted raimi
(played travis) over the summer, super sweet guy!

This time of year has a lot of small events within walking distance. Most of it is aimed towards little kids, but some of them have nice food trucks for stuff that's usually too far away to get normally. A lot of my excitement these last couple of months has been food-related, haha.

^ I collect dolls too, but I'm more into the 14/14.5-inch knock-off Wellie Wishers kinda dolls. Large enough to easily make detailed handmade clothes for, but small enough to be easy to cuddle with and carry around with me.

i dont celebrate halloween that much anymore now that im older and our neighborhood just doesnt have the community for trick or treaters, but i do like the fall festivities we have at work! the library tends to go really all out on seasonal crafts, and this year's halloween stuff has been so cute... one of my coworkers made this really big bulletin board with a huge spider on it and kids can draw the covers of their favorite books and hang them up on the spider's web. she's been making little bats out of felt and crochet spiders too ^_^ i love seeing the crafts staff makes for the children's area around fall and the crazy outfits during our dress up week

oh my god still to this day when i spent like $5 to get gianni matragrano to wish me a happy birthday as dante tonitini from POSTAL 4. i think about this so often and it still makes me so happy. dante tonitini is so obscure but hes so funny and has so many iconic lines and i am so proud that "HEYYY MAX" is now one of them

please i need any simmer or gamer in general to validate this it cannot be just me because i swear to god, i will spend like 3 hours straight searching and downloading cc and mods and than only spend like 20 minutes playing the actual game. i swear to god this happens to me every time. "oh i wanna play the sims" [downloads 10 gb worth of cc] "wow that was so much fun!". AND ITS NOT EVEN JUST WITH THE SIMS EITHER i do it with like most "cozy" games (i hate that term) but that might also have something to do with the fact i mostly play violent not cozy games and anything else doesnt rlly hold my attention span for more than a week >

don't worry i do that too. i've spent hours searching through baldur's gate 3 mods but then i barely play the game with them installed. or i buy games when they go on sale on steam bc the deal is toooo good, and then just never get around to playing them. honestly i just play with whatever i'm obsessed with atm. i'm currently addicted to honkai: star rail and love and deep space, and all my ACTUAL video games just go untouched... sorry i'm deep in the maladaptive daydreaming, x reader fanfics, and otome trench right now
