yes i do! my inspiration varies between mediums… it’s easy to say that my inspiration to knit and crochet mostly comes from a desire to make my own clothes that express my style. most of my visual art for a while has been photo studies, so i get inspired by a photograph that i connect to so much that i have the urge to recreate it myself exactly how i see it! and for things like my ocs and my writing, it’s either from wanting to create people that i would like to be around and/or visualize my ideal future in a sense, or it could be about exploring emotions/experiences that interest me (often ones i haven’t gone through myself). saw this tumblr post that said something the lines of ‘creating art is literally an exorcism you have to get it out you have to’ and i think that sums my experience up well

If I'm not going to be center stage of the event, then underdressed probably. During events or parties or whatever, I almost never stick around long and I never mingle with guests or anything. I'm usually off in the corner of the room (or backyard in most cases, since the biggest "event" I go to anyway on a yearly basis is the family reunion), so it's not like people will see me anyway. And I really don't like dresses much, so I'd rather be comfortable more than anything. Being center stage is different though, like my graduation party or something. Since eyes will be on me, I would rather be overdressed in that scenario.
