i don't mind it. chicken smoothie is my only genuine social outlet and i return every once in a while when i notice myself beginning to decay. but i guess both excited and nervous, i am very stunted.

hmmm... good question. i don't "act" like how people think a choir kid acts (super out going, singing at the end of sentences, yada yada yada) but i've been singing in a choir almost every day for four years now. i've been in my school's advanced choir for more than two years now. i guess people don't know that i can sing pretty decently! im always avidly listening to music or talking about it with friends, but i guess not everyone knows that i have a voice since i'm quiet most of the time.

hm... my friend's mother comes to mind. she's an incredibly kind person who has done a lot for me that my actual mother never could/would do for me. just like me, she had a pretty hard and crappy upbringing as well, but despite all of the hardships and adversities she's managed to become such a strong, successful person and a wonderful single mother as well. i also admire how honest she is, she's willing to be absolutely genuine and share things that others might hide because they fear being judged for it, or because they think it's shameful and embarrassing somehow. and, lastly, i also admire her overall attitude towards life. despite everything she went through, she's not jaded or angry at the world. it's incredibly refreshing to be in the presence of someone like her
