Sure, Cotton's not your typical design, and certainly not everyone's cup of tea. However, It would really make me happy if you read this before you made snide remarks or laughed, or even completely ignored this post; I thought this might be a fun but meaningful way to develop this gal's personality:

Q: Hi! What's your real name and nickname?
My name is Cotton. Some people call me Stupid, Dumb, Idiot, Ugly, and Unwanted, but others call me more encouraging things like Brave and Strong.
Q: Why is your name?
I've never known this. Perhaps it's my soft fur? My tender personality?
Q: Who are you related to?
No family is known to me yet.
Q: How did you find this out? was it already known to you?
N/A
Q: Interesting... what's your current age?
2 human years; 14 dog/wolf years
Q: What's your social status? Are you popular, a freak, totally invisible, so far removed from society you don't even know?
A freak. Most certainly.
Q: Uh huh... What's your favorite food?
Lasagna. Such a delicious delicacy!
Q: Confession time! Who's your crush/lover?
I tend to stay more in the shadows. Some people I silently compliment in my mind, but no one figure stands out to me as my true love.
Q: Classic question! What's your favorite color?
Yellow; not your typical favorite color choice, especially for a girl.
Q: Who's your favorite author?
Cathy Cassidy; she writes the most intricate, beautiful, and deep books.
Q: Now what's your biggest fear?
To completely be removed from society and social life by the cruel personality and persona that other people have built up for me and tried to stick me inside of.
Q: Who's your hero?
Cathy Cassidy; her books can make me feel as if I am pulled out of any bad situation.
Q: Okay, who is your worst enemy?
Social life. But I don't really hate anyone, no matter how cruel and inhumane they are to me.
Q: What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?
N/A
Q: What do/did you want to be when you grow up?
I'd like to be a secretary or a personal assistant.
Q: What's your worst nightmare?
Death. No matter how bad life is, if you're at the worst point, it can only get better. Death is not better than life.
Q: What would you do if you met your creator?
God? I would ask him many questions about the world? Or perhaps you mean my designer? Either way, I'd ask both the same main questions. "Why did you make me the way I am?" and "What did I do to deserve this?" and "Do you care for me? Are you the only one that loves me?"
Q: Do you have a theme song? If so, what is it? If not, who's your favorite singer/band?
My theme? Close to the Edge by Cameron Brown
Q: Great! Last question! What do you spend most of your time doing?
Praying, singing in private, reading, and sometimes crying, but most of the time I spend trying to block out the things that people call me, the ideas that society puts into my head. That's what I spend my life doing, finding a purpose to it. Finding out why I'm still so happy to be alive.
Cotton was an unwanted design that I adopted as a character from the Symphony Character Adoption Agency that I run. I felt horrible for the poor babe as she'd never received any real attention with her bright, spotty design. Something about her still attracted me, even though she was far from what I look for in a character. When she hit the urgent care section of the center, I knew that it was my time to swoop in and save the day. Now she is a rather meaningful 'special' character persay that I am happy to own. Some day I'll develop her a story and personality as all of my normal characters have. I have decided to adopt Cotton and develop her as a character that represents all of the bullied children out there, my age, younger, and older alike. She is my character that will represent those that need represented, as she too was never liked. She's the sort of character that takes a stand against bullying, slavery, animal cruelty, and human abuse, and she is all for supporting cancers of any sort, feeding the sheltered pets, and the Day of Silence to support the bullied children that have taken themselves down to suicide. That, my friends, is why Cotton is here, and why she deserves to be a 'special' character. <3
