After walking days and nights Aloe found herself at a cave's opening, her family had sent her off and she had trekked the desert looking for the perfect home, and it seemed like an underground cave was perfect. So Aloe walked into the cave to find an underground lake, awesome!. and after looking around in the darkness, a cat made of stars greeted her and renamed her Swiftstar of Desertclan, She soon knew what she had to do, quickly finding her way through another tunnel which led her to what she and other cats may know as Star cavern, she lay herself down and wished Starclan for a medicine cat. before soon after starting her own border patrol.

Though the air is still frigid and the wind blows viciously, the clouds have parted enough for sun to bid a mid-leafbare hello to the cats below. The plants and cats alike soak up the healing sunshine. While newleaf is still a ways off, crocuses have begun to poke their purple heads out from the snow, reminding the cats of Fireclan that life flourishes even in the most desperate of times.

suolo is not just the thing beneath the cats padded paws but the thing that allows it to thrive and create somet
hing of itself. after an italian man crazed trip around the world with his cat lead to the latter's abandonment in
a tropical forest the clan sprung to life. the italian kitty-pet struggled in the beginning trying to find their owne
r who'd loved and cared for them so much. but eventually the searching had to come to an end and while sleepi
ng within a tall tree the kitty-pet was graced with a dream. the cat did not remember much of the dream but c
ould vividly remember the large rooted tree that was surrounded by cats turned against them and bowing to a m
uch older looking version of itself. apart from the tree and the cats surrounding it, the kitty-pet heard the murm
ur of a word, barely noticeable but there all the same, "-lastella." the next thing the kitty-pet knew it was awak
e and its paws were carrying it through the forest at a rapid pace as the wind whispered hurriedly in its ear and
told it of star-clan and the future clan it would carry. and so suolo clan became to support those who needed it.

the cats of this clan tend to be of a welcoming, warm-hearted nature because of the past of their founder. beyo
nd that the cats are typically better hunters than fighters but know the basics of the skill. additionally, the cats
of this clan have a very odd culture compared to fellow clans. to begin with, the ranks of the clan are as follows
: laguida, ledepuato, guaritore, latiro guaritore, leslottatores, tirocinantes, lessovranas, lescucciolos, and lesma
ggiores. as well as a change in ranking names is a change in the naming system. the laguida takes up the name o
f "-lastella" while tirocinantes are named the suffix of their mentor followed by "-zampa," this not applying to an
y tircinantes mentored by laguida. then upon becoming unlottatore ( a single leslottatores ) they will receive an
entirely new name given to them by guaritore at over rock. lescucciolos also have a special naming system, as th
ey more often than not will not retain any birth given name for much longer lescucciolos are simply called their
mother's or father's prefix/suffix as their prefix and "-cucci" as their suffix until they are a tirocinantes with a me
ntor. a final, and rather curious tradition, is that cats are not to become an exclusively mated pair. it is expected
of all female leslottatores to willingly mate with whichever male whom wishes to. while this could potentially le
ad to battles within the clan they've found that with she-cat's available to all there were fewer males obsessing
over the already taken and kitted females as they all became available to one another.

the territory of suolo clan is all tropical forest with the rooted tree that is their camp being found within the ce
nter of this forest. the camp itself has the cats sleeping within and surrounding the tree, within are often the y
ounger and elder cats as well as laguida and lessovranas if they wish to. while the rest sleep beneath the stars i
n order to welcome in the good-will of star-clan and its luck. additionally, within the tree they keep any herbs o
r prey the clan has. then north of their tree is a mountain that is often warm and contains very little of value fo
r the clans save for winter when it is dusted with snow. to the east and south is then a winding river that is fille
d with various fish as well as waste from local two-legged civilizations. finally, the western border is cut by noth
ing significant as the forest flows beyond this side of the border but the turn of the river and edge of the mount
ain signal the approximate location of the border and this side is often disputed against with no clear definition.

L E A F - B A R E
The Season of Winter. During leafbare, the chances of catching greencough is higher. If you send the same cat out multiple times in the same post, they are more likely to catch a cold, which is lead to whitecough and greencough so be careful. After your cat catches a cold, don't send them out for 2 posts or their cold will progress to whitecough or greencough. The sun will start to go down early and it will get colder once the sun starts to go down. You will also catch less prey and are less likely to find new cats.

The most dangerous season for the Clans.
Even if there is no snow on the ground,
the cold brings the higher possibility
of cats getting sick, or dying during kitting.
Prey and cats alike wish to do nothing more
than hide in their dens to avoid Leafbare,
reducing the amount of prey found on patrols,
as well as reducing the chance to find new
cats on border patrols.

↠ "I know it was around here somewhere," Reedface mumbled, mostly to himself. The patrol had reached the end of the patrol, hoping to catch sight of the white cat that had appeared during the last patrol. It was most unfortunate that it could camouflage itself in the snow so well, or else they might have been able to convince it to come back last time. The scent, however, was strong, and each member of the patrol had high hopes that they could find it. Windheart was the one to spot it, hiding in a small pile of snow that had drifted from the wind. A bit of smooth talking was all it took for the cat to agree to return with the patrol.

↠ Leafbare was truly taking its toll now, especially on poor Reedface. The other cats didn't dare mention it in front of Frostfoot, in case she snapped at them, but Reedface seemed to be tiring easily on this particular patrol. Maybe it was because he said nothing as he was assigned to two patrols.... Instead of showing his discomfort, he worked hard and brought down a small bird alongside Troutthroat. Frostfoot seemed to fume as she was rendered useless and the other three members of the patrol tracked down a large toad, luring into the paws of Gorseclaw.

↠ Even though it was cold, the Leafbare temperatures seemed to be holding off enough for Lightpaw and Barkpatch to embark on a fishing lesson. Barkpatch was jolly as the two went to the water, optimistic that Lightpaw could learn how to fish with ease. The mentor was proven correct when Lightpaw had no reservations about sticking his paw in the water. Though he didn't catch anything during his training session, Lightpaw seemed to fully understand all the tips and tricks Barkpatch was sharing with him.

↠ The only thing that Sunpaw was grateful for as she and Mudpatch headed to train was that Lightpaw seemed to draw the short end of the stick, having to go fishing. There was nothing that Sunpaw wanted to do less than stick any part of her body into the cold water. She had done enough of that in her previous training sessions, and she was dreading when swimming would come. In her happiness over not going to the water, Sunpaw paid attention to Mudpatch's instructions and passed her climbing assessment with ease.

↠ Maybe it was fortunate that Sunpaw and Mudpatch were training in the same area that Blizzardear took Shadowpaw, since Blizzardear seemed so distracted by his thoughts still. Shadowpaw grew increasingly frustrated as his mentor failed to concentrate very hard on giving Shadowpaw good tips, but he still managed to squeak by with a triumph, grasping at what Blizzardear was telling him about hunting and practicing for Mudpatch when his mentor wasn't paying much attention.

↠ It was a little bit annoying, having to swim when Lightpaw only had to fish. Yet, Hickorypaw didn't want to be shown up by the younger cat, who seemed to be a little too smug that he didn't have to swim. Hickorypaw got in the water without so much as a grumble, her competitive side showing as she tried to impress Skyear with her clear skill in swimming. Lightpaw watched in awe, wondering how a cat could take to the water so easily, especially during Leafbare.

it had been a while since chubbelly and goosebelly had seen each other. the days seemed to be filled with constant patrols as the weather continuously got colder. prey was beginning to hide so hunting was essential, and it seemed like they were always in the field, trying to dig up what little food remained. bearstar constantly remained in his den, and only let rowanfeather inside. in the mean time cormorant filled in and assigned patrols, much to the dismay of sweetfeather, who had begun, like bearstar, to seclude himself and only let adderstrike and montjacfang talk to him.
chubbelly had tried to find oppertunities to talk to his clanmate, but it seemed like every time he would be able to, he was swept away by a complaining clanmate or mottledfur barking at him that they would go hunting once again. he would occasionally see goosebelly through the slits in the trees, stalking prey or teaching morningpaw, but other than that, he rarely spotted the grey tom.
and it wore down on chubbelly, because he missed his clanmate. while he was hunting he had a lot of time to think, and he had decided that his feelings for goosebelly were more than just friendly. he had never felt so comfortable around another cat, and he could never get goosebelly out of his head for one second. he confided with sparrowheart about it, and she had encouraged him to the point where he was confident that the other tom felt the same way. so it was hard to see but not speak with goosebelly.
finally, chubbelly was over the gap that was growing between the two. right after the patrol meeting, chubbelly approached goosebelly, who was speaking with onyxstone and streamfur. he dipped his head to the two queens, and glanced at goosebelly. "is it alright if i borrow him for a moment?" he mewed, ignoring the stiffening of goosebelly beside him. onyxstone nodded briefly and continued complaining to streamfur about growing kits. chubbelly beckoned for goosebelly to follow, and he walked out of the camp.
chubbelly lead the way to the ledge that the toms had visited before, and waited until goosebelly was seated next to him before speaking.
"a few moons ago i told you about the nightmare i had," the fluffy tom began, his eyes tracking the twoleg monsters as they travelled along the thunderpaths. "and i said i felt like i was being choked. you told me that it meant i couldn't tell somecat something. i think i know what it is now."
"oh?" chubbelly could feel goosebelly's gaze burn into his pelt, but he decided that it would be more comfortable if he didn't make eye contact. "and what's that?"
chubbelly shifted his paws closer togehter and rested his tail on top of them. he closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. "i couldn't tell you that... i want you to be more than a friend, goosebelly." chubbelly inched away from the other tom, not wanting to sense his reaction at all. he kept his eyes shut. "i've never felt this way about any cat. i-i mean i thought i have, but it's different with you. you make me feel happy. and i can be myself around you, you won't judge me. so that's how i feel, and that's what i wanted to tell you."
goosebelly audibly sighed, and his gaze returned to the bustle of twolegs beneath them. "i can't deny that i feel the same way about you, chubbelly." a particularly loud horn blew in the distance, and goosebelly paused. "but i'm not ready to be with another cat the way i used to be with ophelia."
"... ophelia?" chubbelly stammered, not wanting to recognize what goosebelly had said before.
"ophelia was my old mate," goosebelly clarified, his breath short and voice quiet. "i had known her since we were kits, and before she died she told me that she was expecting our own litter." chubbelly could sense a note of sadness in the other tom's voice, and decided not to speak to it.
"it hasn't even been four seasons since her death, so the wound is still fresh. chubbelly, i feel the same way about you, but i'm not ready for anything like i had with ophelia yet." goosebelly stood up, and nodded to his clanmate. "maybe i'll feel different later, but right now it's just too hard." he turned and left, descending the twoleg stairs down towards the camp.
chubbelly stared out at the landscape, his mind churning at many miles a minute. "maybe later," he repeated to himself, and curled up, watching goosebelly lead morningpaw towards the training hollow.

Sootpelt lied curled up in his nest not fully awake, but not sleeping either. The fluffy tom was more in a foggy daze then anything. That was until an unfamiliar cat appeared in front of him, the cat's pelt full of stars. Surprised to see a cat that didn't belong to HazeClan's stars the fluffy tom rose to a sitting position and curiously looked at the small cat that sat in front of him. "Sootpelt." the orange and white cat meowed, smiling as they gazed at the warrior. Their green eyes sparkled with happiness as they watched Sootpelt's every movement. "Yes...?" Sootpelt meowed in confusion, tilting his head to the side a bit. The young starry cat let out a purr and smiled once more. "I have traveled far and wide searching for you. I am Skypaw of FireClan." they meowed. Sootpelt's ears perked up at the mention of FireClan and his heart began to race a bit as thoughts of Shadowstride entered his mind. "I was adopted by Shadowstride when I was alive, but sadly my time came shortly after becoming an apprentice..." Skypaw meowed, frowning a bit. "However, I came here to tell you good news, not to bum you out. I want to inform you that Shadowstride has given birth to one beautiful health tom." the apprentice purred. Sootpelt jumped to his paws upon the mention of a kit being born. His dream of having a family had finally come true. "Skypaw... Thank you. Please, guide me there." he meowed. "Of course, but promise me. Tell Shadowstride how happy I am for her." Skypaw purred, receiving a nod from Sootpelt.

Although he wasn't sure how to fully get to FireClan, Sootpelt knew he would be guided by Skypaw. Smiling proudly to himself, the tom left camp only stopping to pick a small mouthful of little flowers that where still alive. Not sure how they managed to survive the cold and snow, but the fluffy tom took it has a good sign. He was a father now, he had a family and he was excited to visit his lady and his kit. Not once did Sootpelt fill alone during the journey, Skypaw was there in spirit and soon he'd be reunited with Shadowstride and meeting his kit. The fluffy tom paused at the border briefly, taking a small gulp before smiling wider and pushing forward towards FireClan's camp. "Don't forget to tell her how happy I am for her." Skypaw's voice echoed in Sootpelt's ears. Sootpelt gave a small chuckled, nodding his head a bit in response. "I won't. I promised you I would." he purred.

Birchstone lied in his nest, his once bright and shiny fur was now dull and dim. He let out a heavy sigh, his eyes gazing out the den's entrance watching the snow fall over camp like a blanket. It had been moons since Sunray and Murkeyeyes passed away, now Birchstone felt alone once more. Sure some of the warriors had found Blizzardstorm out on a patrol, but Birchstone and him didn't seem to connect. Blizzardstorm was cold, and often glared at everyone who looked his way. With another heavy sigh Birchstone sat up and gave a small shake of his head. Annoyed with his den mate, Blizzardstorm glared at Birchstone. "I'm trying to sleep over here! Go some where else with your loud sadness." Blizzardstorm snapped, only to turn his back to Birchstone afterwords.

Surprised by such an outburst Birchstone just gave another shake of his head before rising to his paws. He padded towards the den's entrance not saying one word to Blizzardstorm as he left the den. The black and white tom had begun to feel like more of a burden these moons and decided the only place for him was with Sunray and Murkyeyes. Birchstone glanced around camp before slowly making his way to the camp entrance. With one last glance the tom slipped out of camp and headed to the burial grounds to visit his old friends. "Once I'm gone it'll be better for every cat..." he meowed softly to himself. The elder slowly made his way to the burial grounds, sitting down in front of Sunray and Murkyeyes' graves. By then the sun had risen higher into the sky, its rays of light dancing across the snow covered ground. "It hasn't been the same with out you two... however soon. Soon I'll be there with you guys. No cat will have to worry about me no more." Birchstone meowed sadly. It wasn't long before the cold finally took Birchstone away. Waiting for the black and white tom was none other then Sunray and Murkyeyes. Among the other two elder's stood Hickoryburr, the clan's first elder. Birchstone had heard stories of the tom and was happy he could finally meet him. "You guys..." Birchstone meowed, tears welling up in his eyes as he embraced his friends.
