• ashfire and buttercupnose welcome their newborn kits, hyacinthkit and cinderkit, into highgarden after xita drops them off. the clan is immediately taken with the kits, and vervaincloud offers to watch over and nurse the newborns while the knights are needed to patrol and defend the territory
• after highgarden moves to their secondary camp at the old tower, they find, to their surprise, that a group of loners has taken up residence there. though the loners are protective over one another, especially with a pregnant molly in their midst, they introduce themselves as willoweyes and snowlily, a pair of sisters, and their friend, duckpatch. bearing in mind the cold weather ahead, duckpatch convinces her friends to join highgarden, and the trio pledge their allegiance to their new clanmates, though she seems the most confident in the new arrangement whereas willoweyes and snowlily take longer to warm to the clan
• as the warm weather finally wanes, giving away to autumn, highgarden patrols come across lionshade and mahoganypaw, a mother and her son, and another root named swallowheart. the trio have come from the faraway lostclan and are in need of a new home. though lionshade is reluctant to join a clan in the middle of war, mahoganypaw is charmed by highgarden and the other thorns, finally convincing his mother to stay and fight for their new home. at the same time, swallowheart nurtures a friendship with the other roots. she promises that she will help take care of the kits and protect the nursery as a show of gratitude for highgarden's shelter (x)

Summary: Fox stays silent out of fear for his life, Icy goes to Avocet, planning on threatening her to gain a few deathberries for his plot. Avocet nearly knocks out one of his teeth in self-defense, shocking him, revealing the meek attitude all had been a show. She was sent in undercover to befriend clan cats by a group of rogues who wanted to take the camp for themselves, and so, the two stick together and plan on poisoning some cats.

well, dialga hadn't ended up actually finding his co-leader palkia during his walk of the city, but he did stumble across a rather rough looking molly who was looking for a place to be safe, after all the things she had been through so far in her life. dialga learned that the oriental molly was known as spearow, but upon joining the clan, he bestowed the new name fearow on her, to represent her growth and life change. she had been used as bait to help low-level trainers strengthen their pokemon in an secret sort of fighting arena, which led to her various scars, nicked up ears, and poorly-healed-previously-broken jaw. dialga and fearow had just made it back to where the rest of the clan was residing, when a soft sing-song voice called from the roof above them; "look at you dialga, always finding more friends to bring into our clan!" the older tom shook his head lightly as a low chuckle escaped his throat; of course palkia had returned since he had been gone, how very like her to just miss him.
