you protect and stand up for that Pansage back there!
Here's a gift, I want you to have it!" She handed you
a pokeball. She left the area and the pokeball shook,
the button lighting up and soon enough a Poochyena
hops out!

Hi! A rather shy little Mudkip walks up to you, eager to finally have a trainer.

(And yup!)

I bend down and pat the Mudkip on the head, happy they it's happy. "Hello, my names Savanna and I'll be your trainer! We are going to go on lots of adventures and meet tons of new friends and soon you will have another friend on our journey, so what'd ya say? Do you wanna join me on my journey?" I ask the pokemon, watching as it nods it's head and gives a "Mudkip!" I put on a broad smile, "Then I guess that's it! Let's go!" My new pokemon and I walk out into the daylight and study a map of the surrounding area, "Uhh, where should we go?" I ask Mudkip confused, I had gotten ahead of myself and forgot to plan what to do and where to go with my new pokemon.

The lab professor walks back to you, quickly handing you a pokédex and a little letter. “Could you please stop in the next city towards the east side and give this letter to the address ‘08 Chocobo Road’ ?” They ask. “If not, that’s fine!”

I watch as the professor grabs a peice of paper and a device, the pokédex. It analyzes pokemon and tells you everything about them. He hands me the paper, a letter, and directs me to the place. "Of course I will!" I say cheerily, Mudkip give a "Mud mudkip!"

barked in excitement, jumping up around you.
The pokemon nodded, running its fur against your
leg.

Now where will you go? There's a stream up ahead,
to the right there is a patch of berry bushes that
have some rustling going on, and to the left there's
a cave, and there seems to be talking coming from
inside..
