- Rolled difficulty one for hunting.
- After watching the other seniors get mercilessly slaughtered by the onslaught of Walkers, Britney needed to clear her head. Taking Druie with her into some nearby woods, she managed to catch one squirrel. While she was walking back to join the others, she had found that Druie also caught one squirrel.


- Rolled difficulty four for patrolling.
- As the group started to pick up the pace once again, they came across some abandoned farmland. Bryan decided that the group should further investigate, and upon opening the doors to the red barn, he was immediately met with the foul stench of death. He was pulled to the ground by a legless sprinte. Though they couldn't save the boy, they could fortunately rescue and export the female sheep that was cowering in the corner.

- Rolled difficulty three for scavenging.
- It was decided by the majority of the three remaining seniors that they should finish exploring the farmland. Britney split from the group with her canine, and carefully made her way into the empty house. She was lucky to find no zombies, and rather one knife instead. It was certainly a welcome addition to the group. Tucking it away privately, she reported her findings to the group before they resumed their journey to Seattle.

monica tugged her jacket tighter around herself, shivering in the cool night air.
looking in all direction before relaxing, she descended the stairs into the subway tunnel.

when she was little, she used to go into the subway and let the passing trains send gusts of air into her jacket. it was dramatic, she thought, the way her coat would billow behind her.

now, though, the tunnel was abandoned. she remembered the day the apocalypse happened as clearly as though it was yesterday - it'd been a year, right? she remembered the train coming to a screeching halt as everything else did, and as soon as the passengers got the news, they'd freaked. they'd trampled each other, dove out of the windows. some people escaped, others joined the swaths of the undead that swarmed the earth.

monica had ducked under a seat, the then nineteen-year-old shivering and silently sobbing as the undead lumbered through the train.

somehow, she wasn't turned.

she'd run back to her house - they'd been having a family reunion - but she found it empty except for a few splatters of blood.

and the rest was history - history spent barely scraping by in an abandoned subway tunnel. monica had practically given up on friends - in one year, she'd seen more people die than most people would in their lives (before the apocalypse, at least.)

but... maybe it was time to try again?

another quick one for you but this time i'll give ya a run down on what i will later write... ( also for reference pretty much all posts will be from the mayor's perspective, otherwise it will be noted that the perspective is different )

soo basically hanna teases little hugo a tad being that he is so young and yet he is super knowledgeable on medicine and the such ( he was prepping for med school shortly before the apocalypse ) & they bond in a brother-sister way. hanna tries to connect w/ vera who refuses to share anything w/ the others & sits in her own room of the hotel by herself most days. hanna and hugo, however, will hear her screaming and crying most nights. they see a fairly large scratch on her left leg one day when vera wears a visibly shorter dress and they decide not to prod about it.... but then cut from hanna's perspective into a vera 8 months before being taken in by hanna and hugo. this vera is with a small group sitting around a campfire singing and enjoying themselves, the world seems peaceful until a walker approaches and the group doesn't know of the apocalypse instead worrying over the rotting corpse until it attacks and kills the one person vera loves most ( her sister ) the writing then jumps around between 8 month ago vera, 8 year ago vera, and present vera. 8 months continues the journey of the scar and being hit by an arrow by a rogue survivor threatening them for food, 8 year ago vera is attending homecoming and having her first kiss, present vera is watching hugo from afar as he worries over hanna getting a papercut and banjo begging hugo to throw a stick for him.
perspective will then shift back to hanna as she laments on vera's obvious pain and not knowing how to help.
