FoxClan are sly cats who live in the forests up North with the Ancestral Blessing. These cats are cunning and not afraid to fight, and quite vicious. Infighting is strictly unallowed and any cat caught with a bug quarrel with another is sentenced to apprentice duties for a few days to moons.

Apprentices train slightly differently as well. They train until they are 15 moons, the last 3 moons in which they are unsupervised and are supposed to do 'warrior things.' If they pass their final assessment and don't goof off during their final three moons of training they will become a warrior.

the cats of petalclan were chattering within their camp, seeming to have a few bonds already.
“mistystem, you have to teach me something about hunting! you were fantastic! i still can’t believe you managers to catch that goose!” rosegaze purred. “oh, it was nothing!” mistystem blushed in embarrassment. “besides, i would never have the nerve to catch a snake!” mistystem meowed, cringing at the word ‘snake’. “oh, they aren’t all that bad, they just slither.” rosegaze chuckled. “just slither!” mistystem scoffed good-naturedly. rosegaze rolled her eyes with a smile in response.
“rosegaze!” blossomstar called. “oh, i’ve got to go. see ya, mistystem!” rosegaze meowed. “bye!” mistystem smiled.
rosegaze padded over to blossomstar, stopping when she reached her leader. “yes, blossomstar?” rosegaze meowed with a respectful dip of her head. “good morning, rosegaze. i’d like patrols and hunting parties to remain the same for now. mistystem is an excellent hunter and so are you, foxflash has great skill in fighting and id like to go on patrols for the first few days.” blossomstar informed her. “of course, blossomstar.” rosegaze meowed.
foxflash flocked his tail as he sat within the camp. his claws kneaded the grass below him steadily. he was bored, and he itched to put a fight with an outsider, but he knew blossomstar wouldn’t approve. the tom huffed, standing up before exiting the camp. he decided he’d go on a. walk to get his mind off of things. besides, he’d need to know the territory well if he was to live here.

“foxflash!” rosegaze called, summoning the warrior from a corner of camp. "you are to go on a patrol with blossomstar today.” she meowed. “mistystem! hunting with me!” she called, leaving foxflash standing alone. with an unnoticeable roll of his eyes, foxflash trotted over to blossomstar. “ready when you are.” he muttered. blossomstar nodded. “let’s go.” she meowed.
“so where do you want to hunt?” mistystem asked rosegaze. “not sure, i suppose we can check the forest and grass.” rosegaze shrugged. suddenly, rosegaze stopped and dropped into a hunting crouch. mistystem crouched aswell, not wanting to scare rosegaze’s prey. rosegaze crept forward, nose twitching. then, she leapt. her paws hit nothing but the grass and rosegaze flopped to the ground. “mouse-dung!” she snorted, sitting up. “i missed the mouse!” she grinned, grooming her pelt.

Come sun-high, the, albeit tiny, Clan still managed to be as disorderly as it had once been in its peak. With the cats scattered, doing as they pleased while the sun was at its highest. In the swamp you'd see a pair of ginger pelts, splashed with brown from the muddy water under their paws. Splashing and squelching sounded with the pair of large cats leaping at or around each other, tussling and trying to knock one another over. With a sudden lurch forward right after a dodge, Snakeclaw had Pinepaw down on the ground, the younger toms already waterlogged coat hanging off him like a burden once he propped himself back up.
"Can we take a short break?" He asked, coughing up a bit of water he'd swallowed, a bitter, unsavoury taste in his mouth from the mud.
"Giving up already?" Snakeclaw taunted, shaking out his own coat. "Sure."
The toms made their way up onto a tree root, sitting down to rest and let their fur dry in the sun, breaking through the thick canopies above. Pinepaw turned to lick at his back, minding the taste he got from it less after having swallowed a couple mouthfuls in the past half hour. Snakeclaw had too, unfortunately, bitterly sticking out his tongue as if that'd help him not taste it as much.
"You should groom the mud out of your fur before it dries and makes you look like a hedgehog for the rest of the day." Pinepaw gave the other a nudge on the shoulder with his paw with a small snirk.
"Ugh, fine. But only so that Lizardstar won't laugh at me when we get back." He cuffed the apprentice on the ear playfully, the other flinching back, pretending that it'd hurt.

Lizardstar indulged in some time alone, stalking through the mud and undergrowth, his pelt rolled in mud for the time being beforehand in an attempt to hide its light colour from the prey. It served to hide his scent as well so he couldn't complain about having to lick it out later anyway. So far he'd only happened to come across a mouse, but then again, he hadn't been out for long. The tom paused at the sound of chirping. Birds chirping. No use for him. Sniffing around, he caught a fresh whiff of rabbit, slowly making his way closer to where it lead. He'd found a burrow under an ancient willow. Figures. Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. He dug around at the soft earth around the opening, squeezing his way in courtesy of his short legs. When he came back out, it was dragging a dead rabbit as he slid back out, rear first.

Fuzzpelt was honestly a little cross while out on a walk, honestly. She'd asked Spiderleaf to come with her since she had nothing else to do either, while the boys were all out doing whatever it was that toms liked to do. But no, she'd been rejected. The ginger molly stalked along the border, taking her mind off the rejection as she remember her question from that morning. What if she found a loner who wanted to join? Her ears perking, the molly looked off into the distance, tasting the air for any scent of cats recently passing by. Maybe she'd get lucky.

Spiderleaf had still gone on her own walk, sure. But she had two good reasons for not wanting Fuzzpelt along with her. One being the fact that she was going to the old LeafClan territory and knew Fuzzpelt would not want to go near places with human activity. The second was her little embarrassing secret. Spiderleaf found it fun to search for little lost human things. They were at times quite fascinating. She'd built up a bit of a stash over time, figuring the next time they had kits around, the odd items might be good for play. Or, if she could figure out what or how, something could be made of them that would be useful for the Clan too. She bounded over to a glimmer. Something had been reflecting the light of a sunbeam, right at her like a little sign from StarClan. Well, she wasn't that easy to fool with things of that nature. It was just another little human thing that happened to be shiny. A little stone it seemed, attached to a small metal thorn as she'd find after feeling a sharp poke upon trying to bat at it from a small distance and missing. Nah, this one wouldn't do. She'd need to find one that didn't have thorns for kits to get injured with.
