5!!

1. watching old vhs recordings with weird low quality and a bunch of bleedthrough/static
2. albums with cover art that perfectly encompasses what the music sounds like/what the mood or theme of the record is
3. weird notes or drawings scratched into/written on school desks/bathroom walls/etc
4. seeing all the different snowmen in the yards when walking or driving in the wintertime
5. the 'mrrr' sound that cats make if you wake them up from a nap

3! I love stargazing, it's just so peaceful.

-The sound of a crackling fire.
-Feeling sunlight on your face on a cool day.
-Taking a warm bath after a long day.
-Hugging someone you love.
-Relaxing on the beach.

4! Nothing's better than a nice hug

~The happy smile of dogs when they see someone they love
~Leaves or flower petals floating slowly down a creek
~Flowers blowing in a gentle breeze
~Starry nights and the soft music of frogs
~Cats purring

4.

1) listening to a song and realizing smth that makes you stop and think because of the lyrics.
2) having random strangers encourage you.
3) helping someone and making their day.
4) sitting beside someone you love, feeling safe and secure.
5) feeling nostalgic.

4! Nothing's better than being surrounded by the people you love.

-Laughing until you cry.
-The sound of kittens mewing.
-Covering up with a fuzzy blanket.
-Singing in a room that echoes.
-The smell of freshly mown grass.

    2. It's so innocently good.

1 // Sunsets over big parking lots after it rains.
    2 // When a kitten kneads a blanket.
3 // Being mostly alone in a museum so you can take your time reading the plaques without worrying about people rushing you.
4 // Seeing old monuments/buildings be lovingly taken care of.
5 // Watching a once withering plant spring back to life.
emptying this account out for art // voskhodd on discord, if you need me.

4!! It seems sadly rare to find people who care about stuff of the past. 1 and 3 are great too. :)

- songs that still hit no matter how many times you've listened to them
- drawing with a freshly-sharpened pencil
- making someone laugh
- old cars
- that rush of adrenaline you get when thinking about situations in which you would need it, but not in a scary sort of way

Hey! Call me Raptor or Garrett or Garry or whatever.
I'm just a dude trying to live his best life and only somewhat
succeeding. I write dumb little stories occasionally. :)

1, I definitely have a couple of those. ahem slack jaw by sylvan esso ahem

i. Anecdotes about regular life from the past; not just all those generic historical accounts about political shifts and conquerors taking this and that country, but the small moments in between.
ii. The deafening quiet that you can only hear far away from cities and roads, in the midst of untouched wilderness.
iii. Old dilapidated barns in the countryside, overgrown and surrounded by golden fields.
iv. When the sun is setting, and the trees turn into a black silhouette against a colourful sky.
v. The velvety nose of a reindeer.

4! I've always found that super pretty and it's one of the reasons why late evening is my favorite time of day.

1. visiting a place with a lot of old nostalgia and good memories attached to it.

2. a comforting hug from someone you love/care about.

3. the innocent look puppies give when they tilt their heads in confusion.

4. watching bees pollinate the flowers.

5. the sun shining through a canopy of trees.
