You have finally become a Pokémon trainer!
You head on down to the Labratory after saying goodbye to your guardian(s).

Once you get there, the professor greets you and grants you a bag! Inside of the bag contains a few items...

Then, they teach you how the rotomdex works!

You use the Pokédex to help identify the starter Pokémon that the professor has laid out for you, and you finally decide on one!

You ask about the map, and they explain that they need you to follow it, for constructive research. You will receive an award once you do, but first, you must choose your partner!

a rare pokémon? alicia held the rotor dex to the pokémon in the next; a virizion! not just a rare pokémon, a legendary one! now, alicia assumed it was almost every trainer’s dream to catch a legendary pokémon, but weren’t you supposed to defeat them in battle or gain their respect? catching them in a net didn’t sound right.

alicia didn’t want to battle, but she couldn’t think of any other way to open the net without getting into one. sighing, she looked at froakie before saying, “sure, I’ll battle you.”

❛ʟᴇɪꜰ successfully tackled the opposing pokemon to the ground, and with a huff, the pokemon layed there an extra few seconds. it seemed the pokemon was very tired, but it had put up a very good battle. their helath is low enough to successfully capture them, if that's what the trainer wishes. goodluck!❜

Laura watched Leif knock knock the wild Mudbray to the ground. "That look like it hurt... Okay! Leif, that's enough, time to throw a pokeball!" Reaching into her bag, Laura felt around for the pokeball, while keeping an eye on the nearly-fainted Mudbray. Finally, she felt one and pulled out out. Clicking the button to bring it to it's full size, she threw it at the Mudbray and crossed her fingers, hoping to hear that satisfying click.
