The Viridian March claims the Fljótsdalur Valley as its land. They are a hardy group of rabbits, stalwart and loyal to the warren until their dying breath. They do not come into contact with humans often, nor is their camp (which is situated in the heart of the valley, an reasonable distance away from the nearest human town and the nearest stream) in any danger of contact with them. Therefore, domestic rabbits living in the warren is a rarity. The March feasts on greens such as clovers, lettuce, and radishes, and their biggest predators are the overzealous hunters and their dogs that they risk coming across should they venture near town.

Their ranks are as standard as follows, though the second-in-command (renamed as 'warden') doesn't often become the leader. That is reserved for the leader's kits unless they die with no children to take on the position. The warden is responsible for overseeing the training of the heirs and is expected to train one of them as well. When the kits complete their training they are expected to challenge each other to a duel - whoever wins is chosen to be the next leader.

A safe place for any rabbit - that is what the leaders and followers of Asfalís strive for. All breeds are welcome in Asfalís, regardless of background or religion or anything else. The rabbits reside in a mountainous region, secluded and reserved. They prefer to be alone, and don't take kindly to strangers because they do not trust easily. However, if strangers come alone or with only one other, they are more likely to be trusted. It is usually cold, though the rabbits don't mind.

The rabbits here generally believe in the Goddess Gaea, the Goddess of the earth. It is to this Goddess that they pray, and worship, hoping to grant all that follow her protection and love. Most rabbits in Asfalís are religious, and use that as an excuse for many of their actions, even if they are morally wrong. Other gods or goddesses that the rabbits might worship are Artemis, Demeter, Horae, Oxylus, Pan, Persephone, and Rhea. As mentioned, however, Gaea is the most common worshipped goddess.

They eat clover, nettle, bramble, turnips, blackberries, strawberries, radish, and spinach.

The Amber Skies Haven is a home for a wide range of all sorts of rabbits.
Their home is consistently in a state of fall coloring no matter the season.
They are a peaceful warren, who will lend a helping paw to those in need.
Every ten moons the warren holds a celebratory gathering. During this time
every rabbit takes time to strengthen their bonds with the rest of the group,
along with finding their other half. This celebration is also a time for gifting
and thanking the ancestors for watching over them. The warren spends most
of their time in camp spending lots of time with one another during their free
time. When it is time to retire for the night, the rabbits enter burrow that
then splits off into larger cave like areas. The last most iconic place in the
warren's territory is the stream, where they get water, moss, and other
important herbs and plants.

It was a new day, and the territory seemed promising. A safe haven could be made here, Zenovia was sure. After closing her eyes and seeking guidance from the Goddess Gaea, Zenovia really made up her mind that she would stay here. Now all that was left was to obtain some more rabbits, to help her warren grow... It wouldn't be easy, but Zenovia felt at peace, knowing that thee goddess of the earth was on her side. It was to her that she asked another member, hoping to find a capable rabbit who would patrol the border she was about to set up for this place.

A name was all that was missing. As Zenovia stared around the area, a thought came to her; if this was going to be a safe haven, perhaps the name should reflect that. "Asfalis," Zenovia said, repeating a word her mother had repeated to her often when she was scared. "A safe place," she murmured, almost smiling to herself. Yes, Asfalis. It would be perfect.

the council of the fallout is the last remaining warren of [REDACTED], a city turned nuclear war zone within days of the first call to arms. these rabbits tend to be very wary of newcomers, and for good reason; certain mutations brought on by the chemicals released during the detonation of [REDACTED] have affected some rabbits' genetic codes, altering their personalities drastically. these infected rabbits, known as the sleeper agents, act normal and appear as normal as any other rabbit in the area; however, when triggered by a certain smell, sight, taste, or sound, they go into a state of rage and hostility, attempting to eliminate any and all rabbits they deem threatening - which is usually the vast majority of the warren.

due to this risk, the council's three leaders - the judges - have the power to call for a trial if they suspect a certain rabbit to be a sleeper agent. the alleged convict will be put in front of the judges and a jury of their peers after being assessed by the medic and the psychologist. if they are deemed guilty (which most convicted are), they'll be put to death through often cruel and unusual means.

the council stakes their claim in the heart of the city of [REDACTED]. their dens are made in the rubble of demolished buildings, and they get their food and water from a little area up north known as the oasis (due to it being nearly untouched by the detonation).
aside from the risk of sleeper agents, there's also the threat of mutated animals that have become predatory due to the radiation from the detonation. mutated predators range from hawks to wolves, and their appearances have been drastically altered due to the chemical poisoning.

JURY - any and all rabbits old enough to make a conscientious decision in the fate of the accused. gatherers, scouts, queens, and elders are grouped into this subdivision.
APPRENTICES - follow under the law and work towards either the job of jury member or higher, if chosen to study under them. three to five apprentices are usually chosen to guard the psychologist while they make their examination; in the event the accused attacks the psychologist during the assessment, they are considered immediately guilty, and the apprentices must apprehend them for execution.
KITS - are to be raised by the warren as a whole, and protected at any given cost.
