The Silent Flows is a raft of otters who live in a river far from the Sky River. Because of this, they tend to avoid travelling to speak with the ancestors there, and instead have turned to the darkness of the evil ancestors. They aren't completely evil, in fact they try to do good. They don't even know that the ancestors they follow are cursed!

Silent Flows tend to do the opposite of normal rafts. Instead of keeping their numbers low, for preservation of prey, they see young as a blessing, as well as the entire future of the raft, so mates are required to have at least two litters together, even if they split up. If you've been a mate with someone at some point, then you need to have at least two litters with them, even if they hate each others guts.

They also do arranged mates for the first pairing. As soon as a apprentice levels up, so to speak, they are assigned a mate, and instead of holding a silent vigil they are to spend the night trying for pups.

When a warrior retires, they are sent to the Dusk Lake, where a spirit from the past will posses them, deliver a prophecy, and then take the warrior to join them in the skies.

Overall? They are a very messed up raft, but the members wouldn't have it any other way.
