MYTH HARBOR

Daydreamers, pacifists, fighters, all come together in the Myth Harbour, a sacred land full of ruins undiscovered by trainers due to the mist protecting it from sight, and as the legends say Lugia summoned the mist to protect it. The history of this Johto ruin is that when the legendary beasts fled from the burned Brass tower they arrived here, and the guardian of the tower which they fled from protected them before making a new home in the Whirl Islands. The legendary dogs made this a sanctuary for frightened pokemon. When Raikou, Entei and Suicune roamed around the rest of the Johto region after ensuring worthy guardians were trained in the arts of leadership. Giratina descended there ten years later, and it's roars of anguish created a weakness in the space energy there. Palkia arrived to stop it, but in doing so their battle created an entrance to the Distortion World and destroyed the beach, taking the lives of unfortunate pokemon. A giant crater filled in with seawater shortly after it's appearance created the harbor. When Palkia left -inflicting damage on the Giratina until it was rendered extremely weak- more distortions in space matter and energy created portals dotted around the ruins leading to random places in all the regions of the pokemon world, from the Slowpoke Well to the Lumiose Tower. More interested in where the portals lead then helping Giratina recover, the three leaders split paths and created exploration patrols. The only three pokemon that remained were a Ralts, Zubat and Poliwag, who tended to the Renegade pokemon. In thanks it kept the portals open, much to Arceus' displeasure. In the God pokemon's wrath all three helpers were promptly banished from the harbor- Giratina was once again sent to the Distortion world, yet in secret it kept the portals open. Now, many years later, descendants of the three helpers travel by the wish of the pokemon once healed at the very valley by the harbor: Giratina. Ancient souls once lost to dangers of adventure beyond their protection are rising. When Giratina left not only did they keep the portals; they had a promise- a prophecy. The three would return, and would thrive.
Contrary to popular belief, these pokemon do not use up all of the ruins as their home. Rather only the Builders, Medics and Elders stay here. The ruins sometimes have other pokemon living in them, and if you go into the dangerous parts even Unown are there, hiding in the haze. The Ruins also have spaces which can be used as Food Stores, Meditation Areas, Building Sites, Schools and Arenas before the places are developed by the builders. The ruins are mainly crumbling now, yet the places where the village settles have narrow corridors and large rooms with ruined carpets adorning the floors of some, along with many Unown symbols. Sometimes old jewelry can be found, which some pokemon love to put on their heads and play with. Old goblets are given to baby pokemon to play with. Sometimes, when the village is having a meeting in what used to be a temple of Unown worshipping, they will wear jewelry on their heads as a sign of status.
The surrounding borders are full of rolling fogs which fade at night and in the summer or bright sunlight, and while they fade the pokemon build up the borders with rocks. Many rivers surge through the territory, and fish prey is found there. There are many trees. By the harbor the grass becomes gentle hills, and there is barely any sand due to the fact that the harbor was created by a crater. Berries and prey are plentiful by the harbor, and lots of pokemon swim in the water's area. Two caves dot the harbor's walls,
a secret entrance to the ruins.
The pokemon of this village come from all eighteen types. Yet the main pokemon found here are dark, psychic, ghost, dragon, fairy, grass, ground, flying and water, due to the location. Psychics, dark, and ghost types are known for their commonest in and by the ruins, due to the fact that many of them are attracted by the pulse of space energy and are intent of protecting the area from a human's touch. Ground types lurk and guard the village, their sturdy attitudes and their expressionless faces often confusing opponents due to how much they can take. The grass, water and flying types take care of the land and are usually the scouts. Dragons take refuge here and keep the peace. Water types are the commonest in this environment, with second, third and fourth being dark, psychic and ghost - grass and flying come as a close fifth and sixth. The legendary Patron is Giratina, despite the fact nobody except the three helpers know of it's history in the Johto harbor while it lurks in Sinnoh legend and most think of Suicune, Entei and Raikou (used as a cover-up for what the trainers saw).
All pokemon here are excellent scavengers, scouts and even spies, watching other territories next to them while pretending they got lost. In desperate times they will call on allies or even steal from their trusted friends due to the fact that they don't talk with other villages much. The mist may be helpful for protection, but that means the village isn't very social and would have had to have gained their social skills from elsewhere while their village grows. They often use attacks like Smoke Screen to get away quickly,
because pokemon usually grow up in this protection and see the mist as their way of escaping when they go out of the territory but encounter something bad, yet when protecting their friends and family they will fight until their death. These pokemon worship all legendary pokemon and admire them, but Giratina will always be their guardian and Patron.
The way they commemorate Giratina is by hunting for berries all day long, specifically Gold berries, as they were the last berry the trio of helpers and the legendary shared before Arceus separated them. This day occurs every spring, and is often lengthened to a week or so.
