The military macaw perched onto one of the roots of a upturned tree, the roots surprisingly working quite well with being able to speak to the ancestors with. Luri looked down at the large pool of water, she could even see a few fish swimming through the crystal clear water. She hoped that her ancestors had heard her and given her a healer. Luri knew how important a healer was. If a member was injuried, they'd know how to treat that. If she fell ill, her life was have to be trusted by them. It was a tough job, though she thought that it would make a great addition to the flock.

Suddenly, she heard the cry of another macaw, and she saw a flash of green feathers dart before her. The golden-shouldered macaw then perched on one of the root branches that were close to the pool aswell as Luri. He looked at her for a moment, studying her with his round chocolate eyes. He calmly raised himself to his full height, beating his wings together for a moment before settling down. "Greetings. I have been called upon by the ancestors to go to the pool of ancestors to meet my lead-chip." He spoke calmly, his eyes fixated on Luri.

Luri nodded her head. "I have just requested my healer, I presume it to be you?" She watched as he nodded. "Good. I'm Luri, leader of the Flock Of Scarlet Dawn."

"Manta. I'm am the healer of Flock Of Scarlet Dawn." He replied, announcing that he would be apart of her flock.

Rainbow Runners

The flock of the Rainbow Runners pride themselves on just one thing, being the most beautiful and having the widest color range in their flock. They will spend hours in the evenings and the mornings preening themselves before they go about their daily duties.

TERRITORY: misty rainforest
PERSONALITY: Only the most beautiful birds are allowed to join, any that are born and are not considered beautiful will be turned into laborers, doing the worst jobs imaginable (cleaning nest, picking parasites off of prettier birds, etc.), any that join and are disfigured in some way throughout being apart of the group will be demoted as well.

Bowie flew through the treetops, keeping his keen eyes open for any movement. He knew that he would reach it soon, but he was still very impatient. Finally, he flew through the shimmering spray, coating himself with the rainbow-filled water.

"Oh, great flyers of the skies, please hear my cry!" He said in a loud tone, "I beg for you to send me a beautiful sharp-talon to help me find food and protect my flight!"

He left the waterfall and went in search of food and a new bird to join his flight.
