Her hair is naturally straight, and a pale brown colour. Her eyes are a strangely violet colour, and she thinks it comes from the fact that her mother and her maternal family came from Lavender Town in Kanto. She adores fire, dark and psychic types, and dislikes poison and ghost types.

Brian Conteur started his Pokémon adventure later in life than moats- at age 67 in fact! He never really intended to become a Pokémon trainer, his past occupations including fisherman and traveling storyteller. But of course- midlife crisises happen to everyone, including 5'11 muscular men with leathery skin and poofy white hair and beard. And if Brian's chin looks bug his personality is even larger! With a flair for dramatic stories Brian just loves telling wild tales to anyone who will listen. His wisdom he is happy to bestow upon any young person he might come across- though between all his jokes and exaggerated retellings it's hard to figure if he's messing around or not. But Brian is a genuine sweeheart who just wants to help the youngsters out and explore the regions with his Pokémon.

Brian loves water and flying types- his favorite Pokémon being Pelipper (many have said he looks like one too white his giant white beard and blue and white dress) and Chatot. He's not fond of earth types- too slow for his exhuberant nature.

Brian hails from Couramine City of the Kalos region. He certainly enjoyed his time by the coast but he spent quite a bit of his life traveling around Kalos and other regions. Once his wife passed away from Pneumonia there was nothing tying him down to the city- so he set out traveling again but this time on a Pokémon journey.

Melissa is a 15-year old girl who grew up and spent the majority of her childhood in a remote location in Unova where her father ran a sort of pokemon rescue. He would take in sick or injured pokemon and would sometimes even take in pokemon that were abused by their owners. She grew up taking care and loving all kinds of pokemon, hardly playing favourites.
When her father died, she moved with her mom to Pastoria City. While she did still raise pokemon at her home, she decided to take a serious journey fairly recently. She doesn't quite care that much if the pokemon is a tradition starter or not, she will love any pokemon she takes with her. The choice between all the pokemon in her home would be tough.

Melissa is short for her age, with slightly curly light brown hair reaching to her shoulders. She has freckles, blue eyes and tends to wear simple clothes such as plain t-shirts and shorts/pants or jeans. She mostly wears black and white colours. She brings a backpack with her on her journey.

She doesn't favor a specific type of pokemon specifically, but is generally fond of more canine and feline pokemon in particular, even if she hates playing favourites.

octavia is a sassy, intelligent and empathetic girl. she is very emotional, and overreacts a lot. she can be really nosy, but has the best of intentions.
her favorite pokemon are feline, canine and equestrian types, and she dislikes bug types because she is scared of them. if she had a pokemon type, she would be a fairy pokemon.

You have received Alomomola from the professor! It is a male with the ability Healer, and is Bold. It is level 5, and knows how to use Aqua Ring, Pound, Healing Wish, and Hydro Pump. The professor got it from a fisherman who had found it washed up on the shores of the Azure Bay. It had an injured fin, seemingly from becoming tangled in a fishing net meant for Magikarp. Since then it has made a full recovery, and seems very excited to go on a journey with you! Please take good care of Alomomola!

The professor captured it while traveling through Rusturff Tunnel, but recently decided that some traveling may help it come out of its introverted shell. Please take good care of Whismur!

The professor got it from a resident of Castelia City, who had found it after it ran into a lamppost and sustained mild head trauma. But don't worry, Gligar is good as new now! Please take good care of Gligar!

The professor got it from a concerned pedestrian, who had finally managed to catch the rowdy beast after he had ravaged the local Berry Grower's gardens and generally caused trouble for the people living around it. It's still a bit of a handful, but hopefully being on a journey with you will help it realize that it's actions have consequences. Please take good care of Skiddo!

Brian hefted fishbowl in which his skrelp swam circles, bonking her nose against the glass adorably at the passing scenery, higher against his hip so it rested more comfortably. The older man had no trouble carrying the burden for he was strong despite his white hair, and besides Imoogi seemed to prefer being out in the open where she could see the world pass by. Being cooped up in a breeder's box for months couldn't have been particularly exciting and Brian wasn't keen on forcing her into a pokeball's cyberspace so soon after she had been liberated. And this way, he didn't look entirely crazy as he narrated the journey! "And this, my little Imoogi, is the ocean. I've spent many a day down by the water's edge- storm or shine made no difference to me! I was a master fisherman back in my day, and master fishermen are never daunted by life's storms. There's an old saying you know? Miss a stormy day and it's the one that got away. Oh the adventures I had on those blustery days." The skrelp didn't seem to mind his rambles, just chirped affectionately at her trainer and booped the glass again. Brian let out a deep belly laugh. "Oh don't you worry Imoogi. You'll get your adventures too. My little girl's going to grow up into a big dragon isn't she?" Imoogi chirped again, looking absolutely thrilled at the prospect of growing up big and strong, though with her species's signature scowl permanently etched into her skin it was a bit tricky to tell.

The man's sandaled feet finally felt sand beneath them and he descended the rickety staircase that led down the bluff to the shore in an all-too-eager precarious fashion. Thankfully though, he and his cargo made it back to flat ground with no injuries. Brian kicked off his shoes somewhere in the sand and made his way to the water's edge. He waded in a little ways, just past the breaks where the lazy swells tickled his knees and dampened the cuffs of his khaki shorts. "Come on then Imoogi, let's give you your first dip in the sea shall we?" Down went the bowl and out tipped the skrelp who at first recoiled at the sudden cold water and then embraced it. "Skrelllp!" She cried, winding her way around Brian's ankles, who chuckled heartily as her feelers tickled his toes. "Glad to have you aboard kiddo."

octavia giggled as mistletoe ran circles around her, bleating happily. "my, you're a very mischievous little thing, aren't you?" if octavia had to guess, it was so happy because octavia had said as long as he was good, he wouldn't go into a pokeball. hopefully she could make sure he didn't get into trouble again. "do you like your nickname, mistletoe?"
she asked him, and he head-butted her gently in response. she laughed and gave him a quick pat on his neck, and then grabbed her bag and swung it over her shoulder. "i hope you're ready to go! time to train." she pulled her hair into a high ponytail and put her trainers cap on, her grin a mile wide.

Elle C. Wilmson is a tall and lanky girl, with pale skin, dark brown hair and a dusting of freckles all over her. Easily startled and quite unnerved by most pokemon, she is fairly spineless but cautious. Originally hailing from the mountains of Sinnoh, Elle moved to One Island where she lives. Dressed in her classic outfit of pale blue jeans, white ruffled shirt, a wide and tattered sunhat and a pair of glaringly blue wellingtons, Elle doesn't take that long to get ready. Preferring the normal type due to how much less creepy and dangerous they are compared to types such as ghost types, which Elle abhors, but then again, she abhors most types. In fact, her family had to trick her into going on a journey as tradition declares. For some pokemon she cries at the sight of them, such as phantump and Yamask as they're literally the souls of the dead, for others she at least tolerates them, such as minncino and patrat and others she can't even think about them without getting the willies, such as hydreigon and scolipede.


At the age of 20, Elle is going on a poke-journey. Something she never wanted to do.
