You can now disable text styles on posts/PMs/trades

I've now added a little paintbrush button next to posts, PMs and trade messages / trade rules which contain custom font colors or custom font sizes. You can click this paintbrush to ignore the text formatting and show the message as plain text:

If you prefer this to be turned on by default, you can turn on the new option "ignore font styles in user messages" in your Board Preferences:

Forum/ucp.php?i=prefs&mode=view

This'll ignore text styles by default, but you can click the paintbrush icon to re-enable them for a specific message if you want.

Oh gods I just saw this and RUSHED to the announcements. This is so wonderful, thank you so much!
I've noticed it works for signatures as well, but only if there's been any text changes in the post. 👀 Otherwise you can't toggle it. Bad news for my secret messages, but a very welcome change!

finally! i can read trade rules on mobile! i love you fellow dark mode users but i fear y’all forget some people are doomed to green background or are unable to use darkmode…

This is great! But it doesn’t change font size for me?? Is that normal? It doesn’t change small text to big/normal

It should be working for font sizes already. Are you seeing that in forum posts, or where does it happen?

In forum posts and everywhere the size 60 text only changes to something like this(85) which is still really hard for me to see, and when people post in size 85 it just goes to something like this (100) (also difficult to see, that might be a me problem though?

Maybe I just misunderstood and assumed it would change to normal/150??

Edit: When I do the paintbrush on MY post it makes everything normal/150 but not on anyone else’s

Does it not work even on my post? That problem doesn't happen for me if I try it in Safari...

Are you using custom CSS styles for CS?
