I'll agree, but I guess it does depend on preferred hairstyle what hat is best. For the most part, baseball caps are preferable.


There is such a thing as objectively bad art.
It should not be called out, not unless criticism is requested, because it's necessary for development and learning to draw, but art can be done poorly -- even if it has an immense amount of effort put into it. It's ignorant to claim that art can't be bad -- the majority people I know of agree that writing can be done poorly or even done wrong, and it's a form of art. Drawn art is the same. And most of the time, an artist will look back at their own past works years later and agree that it was poor; that they've gotten better. It is a vital stepping stone, to just draw the low quality things. But, acknowledging the low quality in one's own mind is also important.
(And before someone calls me ableist or rude or some other nonsense for this: Not everyone has equal skills. Not everyone is capable or cares to try to do better in some areas. Not everyone is on the same level. Thus creating varied quality in communal output. And I'm not talking about style, either. There is a threshold, although not a set one, at which point art stops being objectively poor and becomes subjectively qualified, in opinions.)
I don't know. I'm just honestly tired of people saying that bad art doesn't exist just because it's not a good idea say that a piece is. I'd love to give examples but I'd get in trouble for that.

I think I’m 50/50 on this, I love talking about art and can go on forever haha! I’m gonna be one of those people that say, it depends on the person looking at said art. Some people will find things bad and others will find it good. As a personal example I had an art class where other classes will vote on the best art, I was saddened to find out that my pencil drawing of gumball and Darwin lost to someone else who drew the same characters. Later, I was happy to find out I got 2nd place for my cat drawing entirely of pen. Im proud of both, however I can see more mistakes in my gumball and Darwin drawing, so perhaps that’s why I lost. The whole thing with voting, my teacher said it wasn’t to hate on others, it’s to see for yourself how you can potentially improve your art, recognizing things, because that’s what the class was for. He was my only good art teacher lol he taught me so much and I believe my art did improve after/during that class. I hope my rant was relevant xD

hazbin hotel is kind of overhated. pacing and design issues aside the backlash it gets is a bit extreme

Disagree. I’m not into pokemon like I was as a kid, and even then all I did was collect cards to look at them. Fish adjacent pokemon never tended to be my favorites.

i agree! there are professional drum corps and everything just like there are professional sports teams and there are very complicated, very hard competitions and tournaments just like there are championships in sports. (also, im biased, i was on the drum line in high school lol)


in the same vein, i think arts and music funding in schools should be just as prioritized as sports. most high schools fund sports exponentially more than they do their arts and music departments and i think that robs a lot of talented, passionate kids of knowledge, experience, and motivation to pursue their preferred hobbies/careers.
