Hunting (Aristaeus); Aristaeus' patrol catches x1 small fish and x1 large fish! Alastor lay unmoving as he kept his eyes on the
water below him. Near him, his father and other patrol mates were doing the same. His muscles twitched in anticipation, and once he noticed the water ripple, slashed down into the water, attempting to catch a fish. What the tom didn't expect was to feel teeth dig into his fur. His eyes widened and he let out a mew of pain and the teeth dug deeper into him, and his father rushed over along with Springtime, the nearest cat. A pike had a hold of him, attempting to drag him into the depths of the river. Alastor tried to fight back, but the pike was huge, and after slipping on the bank of the river, he lost his balance, being dragged into the river. Unable to speak as the water rushed into his lungs, he managed to gurgle his father's name before being dragged under.

Hunting (Rainstorm); Rainstorm's patrol catches x1 scraps, x1 egg, and x1 cat food!

Hunting (Stargazer); Stargazer's patrol catches x2 small fish! The patrol spread out near the lake, their spirits high as the lake ran surprisingly full of fish despite the season. Poochpuff attempted to swipe at a fish, but her eyes grew in shock as she lost her balance and fell into the lake, hitting her head on a stone, causing her to lose consciousness. Moondust, the nearest cat, ran to her aid, calling for the patrol to try and help, but try as he might, he couldn't see Poochpuff beneath the murky water. He seemed about ready to dive in before Stargazer held him back. It was too late. If she didn't die from drowning, she'd die from hypothermia, considering her lack of fur and the cold temperature, or she'd die of brain trauma. As Stargazer left his side, Moondust couldn't help but cry out. He couldn't save her, nor bring her body back to her family.

-Flamesight contemplates taking up the role of a Fighter. He discusses his notions with Patchcloud, who’d just passed his assessment, and decides to wait a bit more.

wolverinestar tells the clan gently that it'd be nice if we stop flooding the nursery pls and thanks. it's gonna be leafbear soon and she doesn't want the little baybees to die <3. everyone agrees and flamingowings kinda sweats bcs he hasn't told anyone he's gonna be a dad yet lol oopsies.

that night, wolverinestar is visited by the ancestors. theyre like "uhm why arent you pregnant yet? you need an heir." wolverinstar basically says "why do i need an heir i dont plan on dying anytime soon." the ancestprs are like "you can't escape your destiny". wolverinestar the girlboss of the century says "watch me." and forces herself to wake up to get away from those boring old ghosts. it's dawn and she goes outside to sit. hailthroat joins saying he can't sleep well. they watch the sunrise in silence, pressed against each other for warmth purposes and totally not because they platonic love each other.

their cuddle sesh is interrupted by this scruncgly lookin cat who stumbles down the side of the trail. she's dazed and confused and doesn't know where she is. she says her name is buckeye. she was exploring her backyard when twolegs captured her and she's looking for her owners in "oh-eye-oh"?? where is that?? idk but wolverinestar says there's no twolegs around here. buckeye says she's starting to give up every finding her family. hailthroat comforts her and guides her into the camp, telling her that she can stay as long as she likes. the leader sighs. halthroat is always inviting people in without consulting her. he's lucky he's cute.

oriolebeak is freaking out because her wife is having a baby???? already??? time has flown by. she's starting to annoy mothfoot, though, so pumpkinseed tells her to beat it. broomlift shakes her head and guides oriolebeak out into the main camp. the rest of the kits and acornpelt are waiting just outside. some kit therapy always helps and soon oriolebeak is more excited than scared. the kits are super excited too. new playmates!!!!

WEATHER !!

LEAF-FALL || The temperature has begun to drop, and the days grow shorter and shorter. With the disappearance of the unbearable heat, predators are more commonly slinking along the outskirts of the territory. Alongside the growing dangers that come with the cold weather, kittings are beginning to get harder. Clans should stock up on prey and herbs for the coming dangerous moons, as this will be their last chance until after the next season has passed.

--Lichen has been watching Darkfang from its spot as a loner, located in the barn of the Twoleg farm across the large field. The cat has been living in the horse fields, using the barns for cover at nightfall and during storms, comfortable around Twolegs. It has always been happy to share knowledge of farm life with passing cats, until the Dark Crows came by. It stayed very, very far away from those cats, their presence a nuisance at best and intimidating and fearful at worst. As it grows tired of loner life, yearning for life among other cats and to build a family, it watches ChaosClan from afar as the large clan takes over The Dark Crows, restoring ShiningClan territory, chasing out the rogues. Yet, something doesn't settle right with Lichen, even after it joins ChaosClan and becomes Lichendust, taking on a new stage in its life. It watches Darkfang with skepticism, feeling like it has seen Darkfang before in the rogue group, though he doesn't say anything to the clan cats... not yet, at least. Perhaps there's a reason the clan let this cat in, it thinks... Even still, the way Darkfang skulks around has Lichendust questioning Darkfang's loyalties, and it starts to follow the tom.
--Fleapaw sees Lichendust following his 'brother' and mentor, and he says nothing to Darkfang. He doesn't want to scare Lichendust away, so he ignores its watching eyes. The eyes are especially apparent during training sessions, though Darkfang has been so distracted that the tom does not notice, even though his apprentice does. Fleapaw lets Laurelbreeze and Midgestorm know of his noticing of Lichendust, and the cats agree its a good thing, and to let the older warriors handle it, at least for now. Fleapaw slowly starts to remember his past, especially when glancing at Spidercrawl, feeling like he knows him from somewhere...
--Thistlepath feels confident in Avocadopaw's skills, ready to watch his family member take her assessment. Limepaw and Avocadopaw are elated that one of them has succeeded in their training, their support system for each other strong. Kiwituft smiles softly at the elation from his daughters, his immense pride almost palpable. He apologizes to Limepaw for not getting her through her training yet, but the adventurous apprentice smiles softly, telling her dad that it's ok. She likes the adventures she can have as an apprentice better anyway.

“ “They’re so little,” Thymepool murmured, tabby fur rippling nervously along her spine as she watched Minkflutter and Narcissus herd Featherkit and Skykit out of the nursery to play in the cave. “They grow faster than you think.” Cloudpool didn’t take his eyes off his patient as he sniffed along her belly one last time, seemingly satisfied. His mind flickered to his own daughters, thinking fondly back to when they’d been born. Moonpaw and Echopaw weren’t fully grown but Cloudpool still marveled at their swift growth. Although they’d spent the last moon confined to camp and looking after the queens and elders, they’d be warriors before long. Cloudpool wasn’t sure he was ready. Dappleleaf, he knew, felt the same. His mate doted on the pair, making sure they had everything they could want. She still thought of them as kits back in the nursery. Focusing once more on the queen, Cloudpool listened as another cat spoke, his mew pitched with worry, “Is she okay? Are the kits coming?” Cloudpool glanced calmly at Mosspaw, allowing his young apprentice to answer. She was becoming a wonderful healer and the clan was even starting to look to her when Cloudpool was out gathering herbs. The gray and white molly purred, shaking her head. “Thymepool’s fine. The kits aren’t coming yet but they’ll be here any day now.” Mosspaw guessed. Sunstripe nodded, exchanging an excited glance with Thymepool. Cloudpool’s yellow eyes flickered to the nests where Birdflight and Mistfall watched, the younger tortoiseshell queen’s eyes wide. “From what I can tell, all three of you will be due soon. The nursery never fails to be full.” Spikebush huffed, her whiskers twitching with mixed exasperation and amusement as she agreed. “It’ll certainly be more chaotic but it’ll be nice to have more queens to help care for the kits.” The prickly molly glanced down where four kits nursed at the curve of her belly. They were Hawkfeather’s kits. He’d shown up at the cave’s entrance with the first of the four kits and told the clan that he had three more hidden in the forest near the training clearing. Ignoring the clan’s curious questions, he’d asked Spikebush and the other queens to help care for them. Although the prickly queen was already caring for Skykit and Narcissus’s adopted daughter, Featherkit, she wasn’t about to let Hawkfeather’s kits starve and the other queens wouldn’t produce milk until their kits were born. Spikebush and the other queens made the decision to share the care of all the motherless kits, sharing the responsibility between the four of them but any cat could see that Spikebush was already very fond of all of the kits. Harestar sent a patrol with Hawkfeather to bring the other three kits back to camp and specifically asked Echopaw and Moonpaw to look after the queens. Cloudpool had watched his daughters proudly as they brought Spikebush the best prey the patrols brought back and kept her nest soft with fresh moss.

As Cloudpool and Mosspaw finished with Thymepool and moved to check on Spikebush and the four kits, Hawkfeather slipped in, his good eye focusing quickly on his kits. A mouse dangled from his jaws and he set it at Spikebush’s paws. “How are you and the kits?” He asked, gazing down with fascination at his kits. “They’re just as fine as they were when you checked on them after you woke up.” Spikebush’s tone was dry. Next to him, Cloudpool could see Mosspaw struggling to hide her amusement. Both Hawkfeather and Narcissus had been spending time in the nursery, constantly worrying about their kits. Cloudpool could tell that the overprotective fathers were trying Spikebush’s patience. “Are they getting enough milk?” Hawkfeather worried. As Spikebush’s eyes narrowed, Cloudpool interjected, his voice calm. “They’re perfectly healthy Hawkfeather. Once they open their eyes and start exploring camp more, they’ll be begging for badger rides around the cave just like Skykit and Featherkit are starting to do.” Cloudpool assured him gently. “Just give them a few days to open their eyes.” Hawkfeather nodded, glancing from his kits to Cloudpool and then to Birdflight as the older queen spoke. The cinnamon tabby had told some of the clan that this would not be her first litter. Her older kits lived past the far side of the lake, deep in a twoleg place, she’d told them. “Cloudpool’s right. They’re doing wonderfully, Hawkfeather. They’ve got all of us caring for them, you don’t have to worry.” She paused, ears twitching as Sunstripe finished saying his goodbyes to Thymepool. “It looks like it’s almost time for patrols to be sent out. Why don’t you go with Sunstripe to see if he’ll put you on a patrol.” Hawkfeather hesitated as Sunstripe looked over, whiskers twitching but the ginger deputy didn’t comment other than to say, “I was hoping you’d lead a border patrol actually.” With somewhat reluctant agreement from Hawkfeather, the pair began to make their way out of the den to the center of the cave. Satisfied that the queens and kits were all doing well, Cloudpool and Mosspaw followed the two warriors out. “Wait until your kits are born,” Hawkfeather grumbled ahead of them, “You’ll understand then how strong the feeling of wanting to protect them is.” Sunstripe’s eyes softened and he nodded, glancing back towards the nursery where Thymepool rested. His kits were still unborn but Sunstripe already loved them fiercely. He couldn’t truly understand how Hawkfeather felt as a single father but Sunstripe could imagine. “Your kits are lucky to have you.” Sunstripe responded gently as he led Hawkfeather towards the warriors milling in the center of the cave, waiting to be assigned a patrol.

- Thorn's patrol finds a cat leaping around the rollercoaster tracks and tops of the buildings with ease. They call the cat down to talk, which they happily oblige. Thorn extends the invitation to join Paradise Risen, which the cat agrees to. His name is Langur, and Malibusky gives him the name Langurleap.
- Mercuryfur is elated and over the moon upon becoming Paradise Risen's first graduated Trainee. Thorn is also immensely proud of her, even if he doesn't say it.
- Pepperstripe, Sesamepaw, Ravenpaw, Owlpaw and Hawkpaw hold a little congratulatory party for Gingerdawn. They also wish Sesamepaw good luck for her assessment!
- Malibusky notices how Horizonpaw reminds him a lot of Seacoal. He misses her quite a bit, since she was so friendly and gentle and taught him quite a bit about how a clan functions. Regardless, he is proud of his children and how far they are going in their apprenticeships. He takes them out for a small family bonding trip around the area.
- Thorn realises with a bit of worry that the dog pack living at the theatre has been rather quiet lately.
