CascadeClan shelters in a small, lush, fertile river-valley centered around a pond. The weather is mostly warm, moist, and humid. A farm can be found on the hill northwest of Cascade known as the Ricefields. Rice and wheat are grown there and it makes the perfect hunting ground. To the east of Cascade is a jungle filled with exotic creatures known as the Wildcries. It's rumored that another Clan lives deep in the tropics, but no cat of Cascade has ever met one of theirs. The jungle is the second hunting ground, but only skilled cats can go in there, as the Wildcries are a very dangerous place. Cascade cats have no dens excluding the nursery, known as the Lodge. Cascadors sleep in nests made of lush grass. All cats sleep in the same area regardless of rank; however, sick cats sometimes stay at the Estate while carrying drizzles and younger droplets remain in the Lodge. Cascade cats can be found in all colors, though some are less common than others. Grey and black-furred felines are seen often, with russet coming in as a close second. Brown is significantly rarer for whatever reason, as is cream. Solid white is much more common than partially white, though these felines rank in between greys and brown. Only shorthaired cats dare to venture in the wilds near the equator, though the occasional naive, lost, pampered kittypet can be seen failing to cross the street.

Because of the chill it's a little easier for cats to fall ill, and births will become a little more difficult. odysseyclan's territory is snowy mountaintops, they are often plagued by blizzards during the worst of leafbare. during newleaf and greenleaf the snow surrounding them will melt, but it will still be chilly most days. except for one week during greenleaf they call "the week of the solstice" or just "solstice". it is a time where prey is abundant and energy is high - it is looked forward to every year. the mountains they dwell in slope down to an often frozen over river - many warriors ice fish, but others stay far away from the ice, even on its coldest days. far, far across is land that has never been explored by the cats of odysseyclan; though in the future they may aim to find a river crossing. they hunt small prey such as hares, birds and mice when they can, though a majority of their prey comes from ice fishing. they send out separate patrols for land and river hunting. their predators consist of mountain lions, foxes, and even the much larger goats that determined warriors occasionally takedown.

the cats of the clan all have thick fur, to prevent themselves from the harsh leafbares. they tend to shed some of their fur during the warmer seasons so they don't overheat, most of it is shed by the week of solstice. odysseyclan cats often come in shades of grey, and occasionally black or white. they are most often tabbies. they tend to be a bit stockier, so their bodies can withstand strong winds and be able to climb craggy walls.

odyssey cats are very proud. they take pride in their skill and the bond within their clan. they speak with a slight accent, and where there's one, there are bound to be others. they don't like to travel alone, and find comfort in their numbers. everyone contributes when possible, including kittens. it's not actually contributing - it's more of a game modeled to seem like they are. it begins to strengthen the bond with the clan that odysseyclan cats value so deeply.
