Story:
Now with two companions, the Kindred is starting to grow. The camp needs to be cleaned, however.
"Lily of Drongos! Could you help me move this?" the tortoishell tom called, flicking his tail to beckon the older hunter.
"What are you doing with it?" Lily of Drongos inspects the twisted vines driven into the ground, sprawling into a sheltered tunnel. They were curled in awkward positions, but seem to be growing healthily. A quick slash of Cloud of Stars' claws show bright green and gold beneath their deep chocolate exterior.
"These would be great to build a shelter out of. I already sent Marble of Mountains out to fetch some of the bamboo from Sand Stone," He leaps on top of the vines. They're as thick as his paws, and barely sink from his weight. "We can cover these with stalks and leaves, it'll be a perfect shelter for all of us. Large too. When more cats join, we'll have room."
The elder hunter smiled. "When do we start?"

Leaf-fall/Autumn/Fall
It's unusually cold for the time of year. The black-berries came and went a
full moon ago, even on the latest fruiting plants. There's frost on the ground
already, and the wind is ripping through the trees. The days start off sunny
and pleasant, and then, as suddenly as the thunder they contain, they break,
andthe rest of the day is only rain. This is not good weather to be outside.
During Autumn, there is a lowered chance of catching prey while hunting,
kittings will go harder, and there are more predators around.
Be careful, warriors!

For all my clans, if your cats are pregnant, PLEASE tell me ASAP if you want me to do their art. I can't manage 18 cat line-arts within a day! If I don't have sufficient notice, you'll get an entirely stock photo litter. If you have rarer colours that can't be easily found in stock photos, that means there's a chance you might get an entirely dead-kit litter. I went with six black kits rather than factoring in any potential tortie-ness. I figured this was how to get a litter of six living kits with refs in a relatively low-stress way without huge amounts of warning. If you want to switch any to being torties or gingers, please ask me in PM and I'll randomise this.

Crabstar was very happy to finally have a medicine cat. Now we won't have to worry about any injuries, as long as Bumblefeather's skills stay sharp, he thought. He walked off to go train Spiderpaw, along with Stonewish as she was training the new apprentice, Lightpaw.

It's unusually cold for the time of year. The black-berries came and went a
full moon ago, even on the latest fruiting plants. There's frost on the ground
already, and the wind is ripping through the trees. The days start off sunny
and pleasant, and then, as suddenly as the thunder they contain, they break,
andthe rest of the day is only rain. This is not good weather to be outside.
During Autumn, there is a lowered chance of catching prey while hunting,
kittings will go harder, and there are more predators around.
Be careful, warriors!

For all my clans, if your cats are pregnant, PLEASE tell me ASAP if you want me to do their art. I can't manage 18 cat line-arts within a day! If I don't have sufficient notice, you'll get an entirely stock photo litter. If you have rarer colours that can't be easily found in stock photos, that means there's a chance you might get an entirely dead-kit litter. I can't do 18 cat pictures overnight, but if I'm given a couple of weeks, or I can share it out with other staff, I can manage that.

Story:
Jade of Deserts is a breath of fresh air for the Kindred, being older than all the others and much more docile. Her calm demeanor is a very helpful balance for Cloud of Stars' ambitious plans for reviving the Kindred. The night after the sphinx iss found, Cloud of Stars wakes up in a dreamworld. He pads along through a burning desert, sand and hot wind bearing down on him. Mounds of glittering jewels surround him but offer no shelter. Ahead lies a towering jade pillar. It stretches past the eye can see into the sandstorm. The young head of the Kindred rushes into it's shadow, sighing in relief as he can breathe air and not sand. Time ticks by. After what seems like hours in the cover of the obelisk, the sandstorm clears. All the other gems have been hidden in dunes created by the sandstorm. However, standing tall and still, the pillar of jade climbs high into the sky, framed by a cloudy night.

When Cloud of Stars awakens, after shaking himself of dream-sand, he paces out to the centre of camp. "Jade of Deserts... Come walk with me." His voice almost coughs on dream-sand, the dream still very present.
