LurkingBrightness wrote:The Shadow Court is named such because of their
residence in a very dimly lit forest of spruce (here).
The trees are so tall that the light does not penetrate through. The trees
are centuries old, yet show no sign of cracking. It is said that through this clan,
those who serve well have spirits in the trees to forever guide the clan's way.
Obviously, like Lotus Clan, these cats are deeply religious.
To the east, there is a large clearing, this time bathed by starlight.
There is a rather large rock that is directly in the shine of the sun.
The deputy goes here to ascend as a leader, and the leader goes here to
ascend to the spirit realm. The stars shines a pure silver beam downwards on the rock.
Apprentices also go here to ascend to a soldier or Thurmaturge rank. This clearing
is called Astralia's Stone. Along with Thenrus's Helm, this clearing is sacred. No fighting
may take place here.
To the west side, there is a large clearing, that is partially shining with
frost-colored moonlight. There is an altar building there.
Every full moon the clearing will become glazed
with moonlight. This sacred place is called
Thenrus's Helm. The High Lord may journey here,
to make offerings to the gods above in exchange for favors.
Along with Helion's Stone, this clearing is sacred. No fighting
may take place here.
The felines here are tough, brave, virtuous, and loyal cats. They also
hold a certain level of pride, elegance and charisma, making them
prime for allies. However, don't mistake these cats as pushovers; they can
fight as well as any clan, better I daresay. And they are fierce
warriors on the field.New Rank Names

she-cat with pale green eyesThe Shadow Court cats are polytheistic,
meaning they have faith in more than one god.
The gods they believe in are listed above.
4 gods and 4 goddesses.
These cats believe that each god are omniscient and
omnipotent, and that if the clan misbehaves, the gods
will become angry, and destroy them. That's where
the priestesses come in. Chosen as
kits, these mollies are the clan's mouthpiece
to the gods, helping to communicate the god's will
to their clanmates.
