It seems that the mother bird was terrified out of her nest when the cats came by. The patrol obtains Bird's Eggs x3. {these are 1 serving each~} ]
[ Swiftsky's patrol comes across a a loner and his daughter. They notice that the mother is nowhere to be seen; when asked, the loner mournfully recounts the tale of his mate being killed by a badger, and asks if he and his daughter can join CosmoClan. ]

[ Brindlerise, Spottedrise, Cherryrise, and Oakrise all successfully learned the Fishing skill. ]
[ Tumblerise, Runningrise, Lizardrise, Harerise, Dapplerise, and Shellrise all successfully learned the Stealth skill. ]

SeaShell opened his eyes. He felt pleasant breeze brush his fur and as he looked around there was forest all around him. But what happened? I was supposed to be in my nest at the cavern!But soon the tabby tom realized what's going on, as a pale cat, with stars in its fur headed toward himStarClan!But what to they want...? he thought". Greetins, SeaShell" The starry she-cat dipped her head. "I' have to show you something. follow me"
"Is it about JungleClan?" Hope rose in the former warrior's chest. But as his gaze met with his ancestor's, he saw sadness in her gaze as she shook her head. "JungleClan ha fallen..." The StarClan cta's words hit SeaShell right at the heart. First grief, then anger filled tabby's heart as he pictured his friends, his family, those whom he will probaly never see again. "Then why helping now, when it's too late, already?" The other cat said nothing, but signaled with her for toward a group of flat rocks that formed a high platform just as if it was meant to be sat on.
"These are the Stargazing rocks. I want you to come here next full moon"
Suddenly the StarClan cat dissapeared. Her voice echoed
"Clans rise and fall, but the warrior code must live on as long as cats exist"
SeaShell finally understood what he has to do: He must found a clan.

ixxx▬the mourning had subsided over the course of two moons; though the pain of death still stung the families of the deceased, a new joy rang out through the clan, the source of such happiness being three miniscule bundles of fur.
ixxx▬wiltedstar had an heir.
ixxx▬the first born of geckosplash's kits was the tiniest, and strongly resembled his father; named witherkit, following the tradition as wiltedstar had been named, he dominated his siblings in play-fights despite his microscopic size. he would make a worthy king, wiltedstar was sure. his sister, the second to be born within the litter, was the largest, with a frown and an inquisitive gaze that was followed swiftly by criticizing eyes. ospreykit, she was named, and she spent more time than either of her brothers trying to escape the nursery, slipping out of sight, only to be found moments later by a warrior or an apprentice.
ixxx▬and then there was webkit.
ixxx▬he had seemed fine, initially, just reserved, not wanting to play-fight with his siblings.
ixxx▬spidernose had worried from the beginning; he'd watched webkit closer than he'd paid attention to the other pair of kits, and when he broke the news, wiltedstar and geckosplash's entire world swayed.
ixxx▬"he's blind," spidernose spoke after a long moment of mustering up the courage to speak, for he knew that the words he said would not, in any case, endear him to wiltedstar.
ixxx▬"he's — what?" geckosplash inquired from where she stretched out on her side, tail twitching swiftly for the other kits, ospreykit and witherkit, to pounce upon and hone their hunting skills early. "no he's not."
ixxx▬her gaze shifted to where webkit gaze up at the sky, immune to the bright blades of sunlight that pierced his eyes. wiltedstar had frozen, his yellow sight boring holes into spidernose's.
ixxx▬"he is," spidernose spoke meekly, though insistently; he cowered, crouching lowly, and only the thought of the handsome black-and-white tomcat that he'd been meeting with for so many moons drove him to his full height. "he is, he's blind," he spoke more surely, though still quaked under the intimidating gaze of the king. "he will not be able to complete his warrior training properly; hunting will be almost impossible, and battle is only that much harder when you cannot see," he paused, shot a wary glance towards wiltedstar's stony expression before his eyes shot away again.
ixxx▬"oh, he's blind!" geckosplash wailed, reaching out with a paw and drawing webkit closer, drawing her tongue roughly over his head as she cooed reassurances to him (and mostly herself), with webkit letting out a feeble "moooooom!"
ixxx▬"webkit," wiltedstar rumbled, turning away from a relieved spidernose. "what do you see?" he asked coldly, his tail sweeping an irritable arc in the air; if the gypsy was wrong, wiltedstar would not be happy; how dare this only barely-capable tomcat accuse his son of being blind?
ixxx▬gruffly, speaking over the rasp of his mother's tongue, webkit answered with words that only confirmed spidernose's knowledge. "it's dark, dad."
ixxx▬and wiltedstar's heart sank, his very being ached with pain for his son, his precious son, the youngest of his offspring; he would never be a warrior, never watch his own kits grow up. and yet —
ixxx▬"he will be your apprentice," wiltedstar rasped, clearing his throat of the knot that lingered, a knot of painful knowledge and begrudging acceptance. "once he is of age."
ixxx▬spidernose blinked, taken aback, recoiling, and yet... as he gaze down at webkit, who cocked his ears widely to hear all that went on around him, spidernose nodded. yes, webkit would be his apprentice, and he would make a worthy apprentice, for there was one thing that could be said for sure about all three of these grey-and-white kits —
ixxx▬based on even genes alone, they would all be tough and resilient and clever, as their parents were.

ixxx▬in the same crypt that harbored wiltedstar and his new family, toadsplash and claystream were coiled in a delicate circle, a soft smile lingering on toadsplash's maw, though a gentle sort of sadness lingered in the air between the pair of mates, for claystream had birthed two beautiful kits and only one had survived. toadsplash had taken the second kit, goosekit, to the river, where so many of graveclan's dead had been released, and spoke a silent prayer to starclan that they take him in.
ixxx▬the remaining kit, the first born, was a tiny tabby molly with a particularly cheerful grin and a walk that was closer to a waddle. she was dubbed mallardkit, ironically, for all toadsplash and claystream's kits had been named after birds; canary, magpie, warbler, and now goose and mallard.
ixxx▬overall, it was a time of joy within the clan, though not only for the new parents.
ixxx▬otterkit had become otterpaw, grasskit now known as grasspaw, and both new apprentices were overjoyed. their ceremonies had been brief because of wiltedstar's eagerness to return to his kits, though both mollies were incredibly pleased with their mentors; heavypad would be mentoring otterpaw, while pineflower had finally received the apprentice that littlefang had reassured him he'd get, though grasspaw's endless curiousity tied him in knots, and he had to keep herding her back to where they'd been training, but he'd been enjoying mentorhood nonetheless.
ixxx▬the happiness within graveclan seemed not to end, this moon; despite the recent heartbreak, many were joyful, even with the crisp chill in the air becoming nearly unbearable at night (leading many warriors to begin sleeping together, or in groups; littlefang and pineflower, fallowstep and hawkeyes, barleystep and chamomilewhisker, cicadacloud and sugarfoot, cormorantface and raptorgaze).
ixxx▬hornetpaw was no longer a -paw; he'd completed his warrior assessment with ease, he kept insisting, though not many believed him, for he returned from passing his assessment with a thick, diagonal scar along his thigh that was produced by a rather prickly bramble bush that hornetfur had dived into while fleeing the dogs.
ixxx▬the bramble bush was, perhaps, the thing that tripped the dogs up during their chase and was, perhaps, the only thing that saved hornetfur's life, and so he wore his scar with a massive amount of pride.

ixxx▬heads turned within graveclan as flintmask led the molly into the cemetery (with pairs of cats halting their conversations to peer at the new arrival; neritefang and applebelly, valerianthroat and laureleye).
ixxx▬she was incredibly tall, nearly equal in stature to pineflower, and her belly was swollen with unborn kits. she shot a wary glance towards those who stared, her ginger-spotted pelt not doing much in the case of camouflage. "strawberrynose, right?" flintmask shot over his shoulder as he ducked around a headstone, flicking his nub of a tail.
ixxx▬"yes," the molly replied; she'd heard tales of clans, heard about their odd, compound-names, and, after she chose to search for one of her own, she'd named herself, shifting from simply strawberry to strawberrynose.
ixxx▬"very well," flintmask dipped his head, stopping at the edge of the nursery, for many of the new mothers often did not like strange tomcats near their newly born kits. "speak to wiltedstar; i am sure he will allow you to join. he is the small gray-and-white tom who's near his mate and kits." with a dip of his head, flintmask turned, only to be slammed into by a tiny, fluffy projectile.
ixxx▬"dad!" hurricanekit squealed, grinning widely. "got you!"
ixxx▬flintmask's whiskers twitched with a brief grin, but his expression flickered into one of a frown. "go back into the nursery," he chided. "it's much too cold out here for you and your sister." (for he'd seen coldkit peeking around the edge of the crypt, gazing outside.)
ixxx▬"but daaaad!" hurricanekit whined loudly, tossing his head back with a display of drama that only a kit could muster up. flintmask hushed him lightly.
ixxx▬"you'll be an apprentice soon and you'll be able to go hunting and patrolling and training with your mentor. patience is a virtue," he purred, drawing a tongue over his son's head before ushering him back into the crypt with the other kits.
ixxx▬hurricanekit had almost come down with a cold on the moon of the gathering, and flintmask had been, perhaps, maybe a slight bit overbearing since, insisting that the kits stay inside where it was warm.
ixxx▬little did he know, the reason for hurricanekit's almost-illness was his moonlight adventure to the gathering place to meet his sister from floodclan.

ixxx▬heads lowered to be close together, a pair of apprentices discussed a serious matter with hushed tones and wary gazes as they ensured that no feline, particularly the murderer, was listening in on them.
ixxx▬"you've figured it out? already?" minkpaw asked, flicking his ears forwards; he was more life-smart, with a resilient mind and an ability to fit in anywhere, but, as he'd realized over the past moons, gatorpaw was incredibly clever, and could determine even the most miniscule of details with only a swift glance.
ixxx▬"yes," gatorpaw agreed, the shadow from a passing cloud shifting across his face. "but wiltedstar is too busy with his kits, now; he would do nothing if i revealed the killer this moon."
ixxx▬nodding, minkpaw cast his gaze about; a murderer would soon be revealed and likely exiled, and, until then, he would trust nobody except for gatorpaw and his sister.

ixxx▬aloepaw was not in the same peace of mind as the remainder of graveclan was; she thrashed about within the apprentice's den, a mid-afternoon nap turning for the worst.
ixxx▬she was dreaming, though it would, at this point, be referred to as a nightmare. her terror was palpable, hot breath almost entirely real on her hide as she fled through blackness, for within her dream, she was blind, with a stinging pain flaring across her entire face with every step, every breath, every crash of the massive paws behind her.
ixxx▬and then she woke with a gasp, her heartbeat slamming an unsteady pulse against the cage of her breastbone, her lungs heaving in air, paws shaky and eyes wild with fright before she realized, after a terrifying moment, where she was.
ixxx▬inhaling slowly, she calmed herself, settling back into her nest.
ixxx▬it was only a nightmare, she reassured herself.
ixxx▬only a nightmare.

Oakmist stepped outside his den. A small breeze from the cold night air ruffled his fur. He was introduced to the small Clan, and felt out of place. The leader seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing, his deputy seemed to be the real one in charge. I’ll keep a close eye on that tabby. But the most peculiar one of them all was the young warrior, Falconwhisker. I’m much younger than him physically, but mentally? Emotionally? I’ve lived much longer. The brown tom always felt a pull to the other cat. He’s scared, but sure of himself. He’s weak and tough at the same time. He’s a walking contradiction. Oakmist wanted to figure this cat out, but he also felt a pull, like he liked being around him. As a friend. Oakmist never really had a friend before, though he never really knew why. I always try to say the thing everyone wants to hear. You think they would like me. He flicked his ear, and watched as Ivystorm slinked out of his den. The golden tabby yawned, and sat to wash himself. Oakmist studied the tom, who the medicine cat thought was too controlling, too angry.

Ivystorm looked up, and caught his eye. “Well, what are you looking at, shorty?” the deputy asked in a harsh tone.

“Nothing,” he replied smoothly. Oakmist began to leave just as Falconwhisker exited his den, and shortly after him was Badgerstar.

“Where are you going, Oakmist?” Falconwhisker asked mid-yawn.

The medicine cat turned to the warrior, who was now stretching his legs. “I’m just going to look for herbs,” he said. A part of him wanted Falconwhisker to join, but he also realized that the warrior would be no use. And I don’t need company anyways.

“Can I come with?” asked the tabby and white warrior, with enthusiasm.

Ivystorm chuckled, saying, “Yeah, the little apprentice might need some warrior protection.”

“I’m not an apprentice,” Oakmist said through gritted teeth.

Ivystorm was about to retort when Badgerstar cut in. “Falconwhisker, you’re a warrior. You should hunt for your Clan. You can come with me.”

Falconwhisker protested with, “But, Badgerstar, I-“, but was cut off.

“You’re leader’s word is law, go with him!” Ivystorm said.

He doesn’t care what he says as long as he gets to yell at someone. Oakmist observed.

“Ivystorm”, Badgerstar sighed, “why don’t you go on a border patrol? That way everyone is busy.”

“I’ll do everything you tell me to, Badgerstar.” Ivystorm glared at Falconwhisker and Oakmist as he left. The Clan dispersed.
