A tom, broad and tall with his slimmer sister trailing behind him, approached her in the deep, biting cold. His face, short and broad, was nigh emotionless, with only a sense of duty glittering in his pale green eyes. “Hello Nightengalestar,” he greeted, dipping his head with his sister following soon after. “I am Stoneheart and this is Nettleberry. StarClan told me you were starting a clan and I was to serve as deputy. We come from the ruins of another clan.”

Nightengalestar could not hide her scoff. “StarClan, huh?” she echoed coldly, her glittering yellow eyes roving over Nettleberry as if she were a bleeding rabbit, and then to Stoneheart. She shifted her weight on her paws and frowned deeply, her mind turning. She was willing to turn them away, simply because of their blind faith in the invisible, but as the stream of consciousness flowed, she thought better. Shaking her head briefly and flicking her tail in poignant annoyance, she ruffled her her black fur. “Fine. You’re in. Your sister too. Follow me.”

Stoneheart dipped his head obediently and Nettleberry’s eyes shifted from left to right as if the shadows curling about her paws might swallow her up into the frozen dirt. With a great chirrup, Nightengalestar turned on her heels and disappeared into the skeletal underbrush, which reached towards her and pulled insistently at her short fur. Soon, Stoneheart had been devoured by the undergrowth and Nettleberry followed soon after.

Eagleclan

Eaglestar stalked along the forest floor, each paw falling lightly on a bed of pine needles and snow. His steps faltered as a cold, leafbare wind swept through the forest, and he gripped the ground tightly as to not fall over. With only a slight shake of his pelt, Eaglestar let out a breath he had been holding and pressed on.

His prize was before him now. An unknowing mouse shuffled frantically through the snow. It was scrawny and small, possibly an inexperienced youngling who had not prepared enough for the cold leafbare, but, it was food, and just the scent alone made his mouth water. Eaglestar waggled his haunches and prepared to pounce. Just then, a twig snapped under his claws, and for the briefest of moments, predator and prey locked eyes.

The rodent took off in a sprint, dropping whatever scrap of food it had been holding. "Foxdung!" Eaglestar cursed, before barreling right after the mouse. Although Eaglestar was quick and nimble, the mouse was small and sneaky, and many times he almost lost sight of it as he wove between the trees. After a while, Eaglestar began to tire, and his pawsteps became slower and more clumsy. With a yelp, he slipped and crashed sideways into a tree. The mouse took notice of his fall, and turned to look at him, almost mockingly, before scampering away.

Eaglestar stood up with a groan. 'That sure was mousebrained,' he silently grumbled, tail flicking rapidly with frustration. Of course, this didn't mean he'd go hungry, (the shrew and fish he had caught earlier still awaited him back at camp) but the new king always wanted to be ready for anything.

"That was quite the fall. Are you alright?" A soft, somewhat muffled voice mewed, and Eaglestar flinched in surprise. A pale silver molly with long, silky fur came out from behind a tree, holding a bundle of leaves and flowers. "I'm the healer Starclan sent you, Ripplecloud, if you'd like to know. If you're hurt, I have herbs right here to heal you." She pointed at the herbs in her mouth and inched forward, concern softening her eyes.

"Oh! Oh no, I'm fine." Eaglestar mumbled. He shoulder, where he had hit the tree, did ache a bit, but it was nothing a little rest wouldn't fix. He smiled reassuringly at the elderly molly, and she seemed to relax a bit. She took a moment to shake snow out of her pelt, and then spoke up again. "In that case, could you possibly show me to your camp?"

"Of course!" He purred, excited to have someone else joining him in Eagleclan. Beckoning the new healer forward with his tail, he padded back towards Eagleclan camp with a new spring in his step.

Gorgeclan

This clan is in a large forest, which consists of rocky ledges, and deep ravines. The hunting is pretty good, and the cats seem to always be on the lookout, ready to strike.

weather: leaf-bare.
during leaf-bare, the chances of catching greencough is higher. if you send the same cat out multiple times in the same post, they are more likely to catch a cold, which can lead to whitecough and greencough, so be careful. after your cat catches a cold, don't send them out for two posts, or their cold will progress to whitecough or greencough. the sun will start to go down early and it will get colder once the sun starts to go down. you will also catch less prey and are less likely to find new cats.

"listen oíche being tired is no excuse to get out of a hunting patrol." foraoise sighed, ever since oíche joined robinclan he was a pain to work with, getting distracted by everything around him and half the time not even listening. "so you rather stay in your nest and sleep than make sure your clan mates are fully fed?"

"hey! i'm not that mean!" oíche yowled, hurt in his eyes. "i'm new to this, leave me off." oíche muttered lowering his head. "i can't keep leaving you off. you should understand that you can't just be left out of hunting especially with the current size of robinclan." foraoise was about to continue with his lecture when he got interrupted by cait walking through the entrance of the camp, followed by a black molly.

"everyone welcome dramhaíl as a new warrior. i found her by the oak you two were arguing at the first time ye met." cait purred at the last part. she wasn't telling the full truth of finding her but it sure was a good lie since neither foraoise nor oíche questioned it.

"welcome to robinclan." foraoise meowed calmly dipping his head as a greeting. "i'm foraoise, the deputy of robinclan. this is oíche, a warrior which is going to take you on a hunting patrol to show you a few things."

Justice will come on swift wings, none shall ever escape

While a sense of threatening stalked around camp, it hadn't seemed to reach the nursery or the kittens. They remained pleasantly unaware of the way Fritillarystar moped, Swanstar sneered and Snailstep bullied, tussling with one another and chatting in high-pitched voices about how they were going to be the best warriors ever! This spot of joy remained one of the last bastions of joy for Ravenflower, who loved to content herself to watching them play and wandering how she would've fared as a mother had she and Littleglow been mates long enough.

''Hey, Ravenflower!'' exclaimed a tubby kitten, bumbling up to the aging molly. Shaken out of her reverie by the cheerful voice,Ravenflower looked down to spot Mintkit staring wide-eyed at her and smiling like the gentle sun. ''Hey, Mintkit.'' She smiled politely at the young kitten, crouching to face him. ''How are you?'' She was genuinely concerned, after-all the way Snailstep watched the nursery sent the fur on her back prickling and MoorClan was beginning to fall apart, Ravenflower could see the cracks.

A loud scoff interrupted Mintkit and a fluffy she-cat wandered in front of him. ''Who cares how he is?'' She smirked, eyes shining smugly. ''All you need to know is that I'm fine.'' The puff-ball ignored Mintkit's moaning, puffing her chest out confidently. ''What about you?'' She smiled at Ravenflower with bright blue eyes.

''Frostkit, go away!'' Mintkit whined, shoving Frostkit to the side, huffing and puffing grumpily. ''You're being annoying.'' While the two bickered, the rest of the kittens gathered and wondered what the commotion was. A fluffy ginger tom stared at them quietly before turning slowly to Ravenflower, a thin smile on his regal face. ''Sorry.'' He murmured sheepishly, tail twitching. ''They're always like this, they're the biggest butt-heads of us all.''

Beside him, snickered a small black and white tom. ''You said butt, Maplekit.'' He beamed at the older tom, still snickering from between his teeth and trembling with barely disguised laughter. ''You said butt!'' Maplekit simply ignored the chuckling tom, shaking his head with the tiredness of an aged father. ''Please excuse Crowkit, he's a moron.'' a brown and white molly interjected, eyes nevertheless twinkling with amusement.

With the kittens chattering at her paws, Ravenflower chuckled softly. ''Please..I'm fine.'' She looked away from their merry and nonsensical chatter, eyes travelling from the pack of noise towards the misery that was the elder ones of the clan. Ravenflower sighed, and turned back to the kittens, willing them silently to never grow up and stay in their little bubble of rainbows and sunshine. While Ravenflower certainly wouldn't say they were super intelligent, she did wonder if they were secretly the smartest of all the ranks; they had certainly seemed to master the art of just being.

Neritefang dozed in the elder's den, snores wheezily tumbling out of her tired lungs. While she rested her achy limbs, Swanstar regarded her with a blase expression and sighed. ''Elderwhisker, do you think she's up to something?'' She whispered, her bright eyes shining like jewels in the sunlight. ''Oh, oh yes, certainly!'' chirruped the lackey, nodding furiously. ''Certainly, Swanstar!'' All this brown-nosing infuriated Swanstar and she chuckled humourlessly. ''Oh, imagine thinking I care.''A shake of her head. ''Just go and lead a patrol.''

''R-right away.''

mireclan is a clan that lives in the swamp lands. they are pretty mysterious and don't usually talk about their clan with others but sometimes their boastfulness shines through and they show their pride of their great clan. mireclan knows how to get around through the swamp lands but besides that their are forests. their camp is on a the edge of the forest next to the swamp.

ive decided to join cac again!! could my leader be this guy?

❅ leaf-bare the first signs of leafbare have just begun to show, with some territories seeing snow and others feeling nothing but a stronger chill in the air. cats are more likely to get sick when sent out multiple times and kittings will become more dangerous to both the kits and the mother.

lagoonclan is located on island in a more tropical region. that being said they are more prone to flooding and tropical storms during greenleaf and have warmer leafbares. most of the cat there have a turkish van lineage due to there knack for swimming. the camp is located a cave next to the lagoon that's the clan namesake. the prey on the island includes: small fish, big fish, mice, birds, frogs and shrew, fish and mice being the most common of the prey caught.

in general the personality of lagoonclan members is peaceful, only fighting when provoked. they also are more aquatic than your average cat, as fish is large part of there diet. they are very loyal to there clan and they have a strong sense of community.

their leader is kestrelstar, a tom with that's 22 moons old. personality wise he's generally curious and outgoing, he has a lot of patient with his clan members. he was born a kittypet by a twoleg that breed turkish vans. however, during a hurricane evacuation they were abandoned and left to fend for themselves. (would it be okay if he has odd eyes?)
